I ordered this and the Keen Targhee II Mid WP. The Targhee the more substantial of the two boots. It felt more padded and had better support for arch and ankle. I decided to keep the Targee, but the Koven might be better if you like a lighter feel and don't need the support. I think the toe box is slightly narrower in the Koven too. The Koven is a little more streamlined looking. I usually wear either a 7.5 or 8. I ordered the 8 because I will wear it with thick socks.

This is a great boot. I have arthritis in my feet and these boots keep me able to move about comfortably. I would recommend these boots to active women.

Great investment! I bought these boots in spring 2016 and they have survived 2 field seasons during which I have hiked and stood in them for 8-9 hours on end, 7 days/week, and they're still going strong. I have had problems with weak arches and weak muscles in the side of my left foot, and was pleasantly surprised to find that these boots provide great support, I haven't had any foot problems wearing them, unless walking over really rough terrain. On the days when we got drenched with rain, I set them out in the sun the next morning and they were dry by the following afternoon. My only complaint is that the cloth eyelets for the shoelaces are kind of weak, one broke shortly after I began wearing them. I will definitely look to buy these again whenever I need replacements.

I purchased these for a trip to the Middle East and walked/hiked for several days at Petra without any significant breaking-in. They were super comfortable. I wore them all-day on rough terrain with supreme comfort. I can't comment on the water-proof aspect as it was dry throughout our trip. a great boot for warm-weather hiking.

These boots are awesome! No break in needed. I have knee and hip issues if I walk long distances but I hiked all over Australia and New Zealand wearing these and no problems!

I love these shoes. They are so light and comfortable, yet waterproof. They were a half size too big compared to other Keen shoes I own in the same size. No problem! I sent the shoes back and received the exchange in a smaller size before my returned shoes were received by Zappos. Couldn't be happier.

I got these to work in (EMS) and I absolutely love them. I do not have an arch so I was hesitant on getting them but other co-workers told me they're made pretty flat and they are. Tons of room in there for me. I will always buy KEENs at this point. I just wish they had better color selections. My flight suit is black and we are suppose to wear black and that is not an option on here to for KEEN. Still love-love-LOVE them though!

Immediately comfortable right out of the box. Now I wear them more often that I had even expected.

I needed a boot for moderate hiking and one that had ample space in the toe box. This boot feels comfortable (I substituted the rigid insole that came with the boot for a softer, padded one) and provides me with good support when hiking. I am pleased with my purchase.

These are the most comfortable of the three I ordered including Salomon and Merrill. Excellent fit with my orthotics. I allowed for ordering a size larger due to the experience I have had with Merrells.

I just completed a 5k walk in the driving rain wearing these shoes. Through puddles, mud and wet grass, my feet stayed totally dry. My feet, legs, and back all feel good with the support of these shoes (Disclaimer: I did use my New Balance insoles in the Keens for added comfort.)

Perfect fit. I usually go 1/2 size larger than my shoe size and the fit is perfect. Very light weight and Comfortable. I usually have trouble with hiking boots because I have a narrow heal and my heel slips out. But these fit great! Zappos free shipping and returns are great!

I usually wear a 10, but decided to go for the 10.5 so my fabulous Smartwool socks could fit. Perfect. These hiking boots had zero break in time and were perfect from the moment I brought them out to my first hike of the trip. They were perfect through the ascent and descent. I have found my hiking "sole mate" and for sure won't hesitate to bring them on the AT or the PCT!! Just beware getting them in snow higher than they rise. LOVE THESE BOOTS!

I got my boots just in time for a Yosemite trip and I just love them. I could hike on snow, and on different kinds of terrain where the waterproof was perfect. They kept my feet dry and warm. Moreover, they are very light and comfortable, plus I love the way they look. Also, the shipping was very efficient. I bought half a size larger my usual and they fit well.

Really awesome hiking shoe. Wore it right out of the box for a hike up Tiger Mountain in WA and was super impressed with the support and comfort! Five stars all around. Hoping they will be just as awesome for all my hikes.

I was tired of having to wear bulky winter boots to keep my feet warm and dry during the long Chicago winters, so was looking for waterproof footwear that I could wear everyday with jeans and that didn't look totally ridiculous. These shoes were the best money I have spent in a long time. They keep my feet completely dry, and I was surprised at how warm they keep my feet even though they aren't insulated or technically a winter shoe. They have been extremely comfortable since the first time I put them on. These shoes are exactly what I was looking for - and I'm planning on buying the men's version for my husband!

I NEEDED A WATERPROOF HIKER FOR MY 2 HOUR DOG WALKS IN ALL TERRAIN AND IN ALL TYPES OF WEATHER. THIS SHOE EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!!! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. I WEAR A SIZE 10 AND BOUGHT A SIZE 10. EXCELLENT TRACTION. TOTALLY WATERPROOF. GREAT SUPPORT...AS COMFORTABLE AS MY BROOKS RUNNING SHOES. JUST A GREAT PURCHASE!

Wonderful shoes. Very comfortable, keeps my ankle stable without the material being very hard and cutting in. I also like the toe box on these - not too wide, but wide enough that my toes aren't squished even with thicker smartwool socks. Definitely a good buy for me.

The shoee were very comfortable, however, one of the loops tore out when I was tying the shoes. Two other people mentioned this problem in the reviews. So, I have to return them.

Great show, half size up fit great. Just not substantial enough for the hiking I plan to do.

These fit well and were very comfortable. Unfortunately, when I tied them the first time, one of the loops for the laces broke. I called Zappos and they agreed to exchange them for a new pair.

These are amazingly comfortable and really waterproof unlike others that allow water to squeak between the laces! I had a pair of Echo hiking boots, also waterproof, for 14 years and finally had to give them up. These will do nicely.

I usually wear a size 9 in sandal & open toe shoes - some Boots and closed shoes require a 9 1/2 so that is what I ordered - my toes hit the end of the shoe. I was able to locate a 10 locally and that one fits better - I'm still in the breaking in stage for a trip in October. However I thought it important to put this review up because of the size issue - if in doubt go with the larger size.
