Great boot, cute, comfy. These are my dog walking around town boots and I like them very much. Only downside is that they are a bit slippery on wet Seattle sidewalks. Not a lot of grip. :(

I got these to commute to NYC from NJ for work. I wanted something waterproof with good tread, and some heel. These have satisfied on all counts. I wear them almost everyday, and it is fantastic not to have to worry at all about where I step on city streets, public transit, escalators, etc.,rain, light snow, whatever. I feel sure-footed, like a stealthy ninja cat, laughing inside as I walk past women with spike heels who gingerly avoid potholes and those occasional grates on sidewalks. I love my boots, especially with skirts so I can admire them when I'm sitting on the train, or see my legs reflected against store windows as I walk by. I have thin ankles, and these boots fit perfectly, and with thin wool socks - like a glove. I'm still enamored with these shoes, 2 months later. I got black, and if I could afford it I would buy more in other colors. I plan to wear them all winter, and afterwards in rain. I may move to Seattle so I can wear them everyday. The one thing I wish for is more of a heel that is an inch or two taller, platform type would be best. All in all I am in love with these boots and hope they last at least a few years.

When I first tried on these boots, the heel felt awkward and I thought I would have to return them because they were too small. However, I convinced myself to try again and realized there was plenty of room once I learned how to navigate putting them on. (They’re just a little different.) Now, I cannot say enough about how wonderful they are. The overall quality is superb. Even more importantly, they meet my demanding standards for comfort. I relied on them for 5 straight days on a recent trip trudging from building to building in arctic weather and being on my feet a lot. LOVE them!

These boots are fabulous! There was no need to beak them in, as the Merrell brand seems to be consistent in this. They can be very casual or dress casual. They are warm. I do not know about the waterproof aspect yet as I have not had the opportunity to try it out yet.

These boots are my favorite. I was hesitant to buy a pair of boots since I am a cheap grad student but I have never had such a comfortable pair of boots. My calfs are on the larger side so they are a little tight with my pants but they did stretch out over the first week.

Warm, waterproof, comfortable, and stylish. I've gotten so many compliments on these and I've only had them for about 2 weeks! They're great in snow and rain and incredibly comfortable. Definitely true to size.

Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn but just a little too small. Going to try larger size. Love it.

I have owned these boots for 2 years now. I work retail and these are my go to boots. I don't think they are the cutest boots I own but they are the most comfortable. Like others have said they were perfect from day one and they are still going strong 2 years later. They are very common looking in the front with the business in the back, I will order a spare pair they are worth it.

These boots are amazing! I wear them all day and have zero fatigue. They are comfortable, look sharp and fit over skinny jeans. My first pair is two years old and have held up perfectly. They still look new. They are completely waterproof and they do not overheat your feet. I have had absolutely no problem with the buttons. I am now buying them in brown, too.

Absolutely my favorite boot of all time. I wore the original version of this boot for nine years. They just got better with age. Great support, removable insert can be easily washed. Never lost buttons despite very hard use. The boots suit my needs as a stylish work boot that can be dressed up easily. I wear the new ones the same way- in the studio, teaching, and out on the town. The black looks a bit more dressy, but I hope Merrell re-introduces the original brown with black sole, my favorite.

I've had these boots for three years and am considering getting another color. My three-year-old boots still look great. I haven't had any problems with buttons falling off, and I've worn them nearly every day through 3 chicago winters. They are very sturdy, completely waterproof, warm, and look cute enough to be fashionable. Best boots I've ever had.

I love these boots! I got them in burgundy, and it's a very earthy natural color but less boring than brown. They're warm and comfortable, and very waterproof and have good traction. However, I've had them for a few weeks and the paint on the metal buttons is starting to scratch off in places. I don't love the bulky rubber sole, but the comfortableness makes up for that. I usually wear 7.5 and I got them in 8 so I can wear thick socks.

I adore these boots! I live in Seattle and boots that are waterproof but don't actually look like rain boots are a huge score. These have the benefit of cool detailing and also being super comfortable -- I wore them three days straight. I will say that the calves needed to be stretched for me -- my calves are a bit larger than 16". I took them to a local shoe repair place and it worked fine, though with the waterproofing fabric, not quite as easy as with unlined leather boots. Just keep that in mind.

Love the fit and feel of these boots! I wanted to be ready for the season and was looking for a pair of boots that were comfortable waterproof and good looking, hit the jackpot with these!

They are very comfortable right out of the box and are warm and dry in the cold rain. And they look great, too!

I love these boots! They are exactly what I've been searching for; waterproof, stylish and supremely comfortable with a rubber sole. I've already worn them a lot with no discomfort at all. I've gotten many compliments as well. These were an excellent purchase!

I have this boot in black and brown. Even with foot issues, these are the the most comfortable tall boots that I have tried. Lots of toe box wiggle room, heels don't slip. I use a half, molded orthotics to improve the arch support. After three years, the boots still look great, No loss of buttons. I wear them with skirts, dresses and jeans. They are waterproof without being hot. The matte finish on the leather just looks better with age.

I've had this boot style for 3 years now and I'm extremely happy with it. The leather is still great and still very comfortable. I read the reviews on this before deciding to buy it and I sure am very glad that I did buy it. Hoping to get more years out of it.

I have these boots in black, and they are my very favorites. I am so glad to see that they are still available in brown. I did not want to search for other comfortable boots. My only complaint is that the calf of these boots is way tighter than the original pair I own. I am hoping that they will stretch.

Shoes are great so far, but haven't worn them for extended time yet. Took me a few tries to figure out how to put them on the right way, but once I did they were a good fit and true to size. They come up on my calf a little lower than I was expecting, but I'm still keeping them. a nice looking, functional foot. The burgundy color looks more purple than brown in person and I really like how its different.
