I love these boots! They are incredibly comfortable and I could wear them for days on end. I have wide feet and ordered a regular width and they still fit perfectly, as many reviewers noted, they have a "wide footbed." Pretty awesome! I also have wide calves and these fit pretty well around my calves...I think they are 16 inches or so around. Best boots!

Cons: They aren't the fanciest looking boots you'll find here on Zappos. They look nice enough. The brown boots have a very soft leather that scuffs very easily, so if you are concerned with looking neat, these might not be the boots for you. They have a formed plastic sole, which means you can't bring them to the shoe store to fix them up and make them last another season. Once they're done, they're done. Pros: But they are so comfortable. So comfortable. I have several annoying foot problems that make shopping for boots very difficult. These shoes do not aggravate my plantar fasciitis or my Morton's neuroma. They are like walking on a cloud. So, yeah. I'm also ordering them in black. (I can't answer to the arch support because I wear them with insoles.)

These are great boots! Fit is true to size, and they were comfortable from day one. The calves are a bit roomy, and they are a little shorter than other boots I own, but they leave room for jeans and are sturdy enough that they don't sag around the ankles. I got the grey color, and after wearing them a couple of times a week for the last month or so, they are developing kind of a cool patina. They are comfortable enough to wear all day (I teach kindergarten so am on my feet most of the day), and I've gotten several compliments on them. These were a great purchase!

Let me start this review by saying I am returning the boots.... because they did not fit me, not because they aren't great boots. They seem very nicely made, with super-soft fabric lining. The foot bed is SO comfy (seriously like pillows) that I almost considered keeping them... BUT the shank is super super wide. I have medium-wide legs (I'm petite but I am a runner) and so I usually buy 3/4 length boots so they don't gap at the top but hug my calves. These gapped, even with jeans, and they were loose in the ankle. So I'd say try another style if you are petite or have skinny legs. Also I am between 8 and 8.5, so I ordered up. In this case that was a mistake; I'd go down if you are between for this boot. So sad they didn't fit because they were really nice and seemed so comfortable.

These are cool casual boots, but they felt a half-size small in length and a tad narrow in the toe-box. (I suffer from bunions.) The T-Moro leather is beautiful though. Wish I could keep them.

Despite the 3 stars (which I'll explain), I love these boots. They're extremely comfortable, especially for my wide feet. However, the pair I received arrived with scuff marks and looked totally worn in (thus the markdown in stars). I'm returning them and will order a new pair, with hopes they arrive looking like new. For this amount of money I don't want boots that look used before I've even worn them!

These boots are great! I debated on ordering them because of the price, but was so happy I did! They are more than comfortable, with plenty of room in the toe area - nothing feels too tight. They do scuff easily, but I think the boot looks fine when scuffed a bit. These are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned!

This is a followup to my review of this style from 12/7/14. The gray or grillio pair really were comfortable on the New York City trip. We walked and walked and I cannot complain a bit about them not being comfortable. I must caution potential buyers, though, about the fact that they are not waterproof. The second and third days of the trip were rainy and snowy and my brand new boots got soaked. The inside soles and toebox lining were cold and wet from the rain and puddles and I was really concerned that I had ruined my very comfortable new boots. When we returned to the hotel in the afternoon, I decided to get out the hair dryer and see if I could dry them out by blowing hot air into the shafts and on the outside to save them. Later, I set them in front of the bathroom heater that blew warm air on them. That evening I examined them and pronounced them dry enough to wear to the theater, with socks, of course. It was snowing but no major puddles. The next day they were fine. There were no visible water lines, no apparent damage at all. They may have stretched a little bit from wearing double socks but not much. I am now revisiting the idea of trying to get a pair of the brown ones as well. Oh, and by the way, if you rub the little scuff marks with your finger, most of it blends in with the main color again. They are not dress boots, anyway.

These are the best and most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I wear them day in and day out. I would sleep in them if I could.

I could not decide between the gray or the brown in this style so I ordered both because I was leaving in two days for New York City and needed boots for the forecast cold, wet weather. Zappos came through with quick delivery as usual with both pairs in a size 7½M. I really liked both colors but chose the gray because both were marked 7½ but the brown pair had a tighter toe box and when I put them sole to sole they were about ¼" shorter than the gray. The leather finish on the brown seemed better than the gray which showed the scuffs that were mentioned by other reviewers but the fit was not as good. Arch support in both pairs was great. Thanks, Zappos, for your great shipping policy!

These boots do scratch very easily-so easily that I didn't know how on earth I would be able to return them if they didn't fit since they scratched just by trying them on. But they still look great, just naturally worn after the bumps and nicks. And yes, they are like pillows on your feet. I wore them all day long the first day and I was on my feet the whole time. No soreness. Although it was hard to pry the high price out of my hand, I now look for outfits to be able to wear with them since I want to wear them constantly. I know I will be wearing these for many years to come. Just beware that the tops are quite wide, so you can tuck your pants in them with no problem, but they do bag out if you wear them with tights and a dress and you have average size calves.

These boots were SUPER comfortable right out of the box (and I have major issues with shoes fitting well). They are more of a sporty looking boot, than a dressy boot, but with 3 kids, they suit an active lifestyle well. I like them so much, that I am ordering a 2nd pair in a different color.

Very cute gray and comfortable right from the start. A bit snug on my calf, but not uncomfortable. Bought right before a 4 day conference with lots of walking/standing and luncheons/presentations. Went from travel to day to night with style.

These are carmelicious colored and deep pillow-y softness inside on the insoles. They are in between standard and tall boots, below the knee. They fit my skinny legs/skinny jeans and even boot cut jeans, great. If you wear thin socks or nylon hose, go half a size down. If you wear regular old socks a bit on the thick size, get your regular size. I did notice that when I tried on my regular size at the store and was wearing just thin socks, they were a bit big at the heel, causing my heel to slip up ad down rubbing on the boot. I went with the half size smaller than usual, and have not regretted it. The leather does scrape easily, but since I wanted a rugged and casual look to go with jeans and plaid shirts, it is actually desired that these get a worn look for me.

Love these! They were comfortable right out of the box and smelled like leather. They scratch easily, but a little leather conditioner takes the scratches right out. Born hasn't let me down yet. I normally wear an 8 in Born, but bought an 8.5 to accommodate thick winter socks.

I normally wear an 8½ or a 9, but I had to size up to 9½ to accommodate socks. I bought these for travel, and they have already broken in.

At last, help for painful feet! I searched "comfort boots" and ordered 8 other boots online before I found Born Corlisse. This is the most comfortable boot I've ever put on. The sole literally bounces when I walk, there's a cushion of air that keeps your feet from slamming on the ground, and the sole is flexible and secure. I wish they were a little more "fashion" by which I mean a more elegant oval toe, but honestly, comfort is everything, because if my feet aren't happy, forgetaboutit! I've contacted the company to see if their other boots share this technology, and if they get back to me, I'll review those too!

These boots are pretty plain but are super comfortable-like walking on pillows.They didn't need to be broken in at all. I love the shorter height too as boots are usually too tall for me.

These are a great boots. I bought a size 11 so I have large feet and I am always concerned that my feet look like boats. They didn't. I also have larger calves and they fit nicely. The boots are expensive looking and very comfortable. I am a teacher so I am on my feet all day. They did not rub in any odd spots. They are very comfortable and have good support. I would buy them again.

Love! I have the grillo color, which is a pretty dark gray. The boots are extremely comfortable and fit true to size. Highly recommend!

Great Classic Born boot. Perfect shaft height and circumference for someone who is petite. I am 5'1" and these fit just like all of my hugs, only with more classic refinement. Very comfortable as usual for Born. I am on my feet most of the day when I work, and these will be great for the winter with skinny jeans, leggings, and tights.

When I tried these on for size, I didn't want to take them off. They were so comfy, I almost went to bed with them, even though I needed to send them back and order a smaller size. I would recommend them to anyone who, like me, needs to stomp through the cold snow without slipping or just with a skirt on a Saturday night.

This is my 3rd review of this style. I initially ordered a 7.5 in grillo and another in T.Moro (brown). I kept the grillo and decided I wanted a brown pair as well but the brown in the first shipment was too small by a half size. I returned it and reordered another 7.5 thinking it was just a fluke. Nope, it was too small too. I returned it and ordered an 8. Finally! It fit more like the original grillo size 7.5. I am curious about whether this has happened to anyone else or if it was just a coincidence. In each case the size on the box and inside the boot matched so no fault there. This is, without a doubt, a very comfortable boot and Zappos shipping policy is the greatest, but Born, on the other hand, needs to address the fact that there might be an inconsistancy in the sizing of the colors of this style. Born is my favorite brand of shoe for comfort but it looks like they are slipping. Unfortunately, it also cost Zappos twice the amount of shipping. Sorry

Only writing to let those know my calf size compared to what was promised to what I received...my calf measures 12 1/2. I was promised in the specs 13 1/4. I received a calf circumference that measured 15! Big difference in my opinion. I got size 7.5. Fit true to size. I am a true 7.5. T Moro is beautiful color for sure. Leather real nice. As soon as I put them on at first glance they look like an expensive "rain boot" because of the gape at the calf. Goin' back...search continues for me.
