These are very comfortable boots. They are good for work and I am on my feet all day. The color is a lovely warm grey and the leather is soft and matte. The surface marks easily, I use a leather wipe and a shoe brush and they are back to normal. The only down side is that they "eat" your socks. So I wear them with tights, or knee-highs.

This is actually the first pair of boots I have purchased. I know, I am a "late bloomer." I have tried on many pair, but never found one that was quiet comfortable. I knew Born was a good shoe, and with free shipping/returns from Zappos, I decided to bite the bullet and buy these. I am not disappointed. They feel like gloves on my feet. There were already a few "scuffs" on them when they arrived, and after wearing them one time, more scuff marks. I will definitely be buying leather conditioner to try to rid the marks but if it doesn't work, I have no plans on sending them back. I love them and would highly recommend. Would love the black pair, but purse won't allow for the purchase of another pair right now. I usually wear a size 7.5 in sandals and slides, but I always buy 8's when I know I will be wearing socks. I have to wear "thick" socks with these 8's but a 7.5 would have been too small.

These boots are extremely comfortable under foot! I loved the cushion sole. The only reason I am returning is because the style ended up being a little too casual for my needs.

These boots were very nice - soft and comfy... If I were wearing thick socks. I have a narrow-ish foot and I was swimming in this boot. I also have slim calves - this boot was way too wide even with jeans tucked in! Sorry Born Corlisse - you are not for me.

Super comfortable foot bed - maybe the best I've ever felt - but, as another reviewer said, the boot shaft is unbelievably wide. I have average- to large-sized calves and these were loose like old wellies all the way up to the top, where the gap was a solid 2" from leg to boot. The look overall was of a kid in too-big grown-up shoes, which I could almost overlook (just for the footbed!) but they also slipped right off both heels with every step. Tighten up that boot shaft, Born, and get that cushion in all your other shoes!

I usually wear an 8 1/2 so that is what I originally ordered but it was so big my foot was swimming in this boot. I couldn't even keep my foot stable it was so big so I decided to order an 8 thinking it would be perfect. The boot itself was very comfortable and cushioned on the foot bed so I knew if I could get the size right it would be a great boot. Unfortunately the 8 came and it was too tight so I had to return it as well.

I bought these boots on October 17th and wore them only a handful of times. By November 30th, the zipper on the right boot completely broke. I'm so disappointed and hope I can have them repaired, but they do not appear to be up to standard born quality. I have another pair of Born boots that are 3 years old and have been worn TONS and are still as sturdy as a rock... Very, very disappointing.

Looks cheap doesn't look or feel like the Born products of even 5 years ago. The leather seemed fine but the edges of the sole look like hard plastic. I have purchased many Born shoes in the past but it seems they have dropped there quality standards of the past. It is not fitted through the ankle making it feel bulky and again look cheap. Wanted to love but had to send back.

I ordered 3 pairs of these boots. With the first pair one boot was smaller than the other. With the second pair one of the boots was made very shoddily. I kept the third pair and after wearing them only a couple of times they stretched out and lost their shape. They also showed scratch marks very easily. I called Zappos and because of their excellent customer service I was told that I could receive a full refund. For the price I would not bother with these boots.
