I have been wearing these every day since I got them. I live in New York City and walk a lot every day. At first I was delighted with the shoes because they were so comfortable right away -- no wear-in required. And they were pretty cute. Unfortunately after that I have reevaluated some because the heel is such low quality that when they got wet they actually got squished. The other thing that happened is that the zipper is not working as well anymore. It is hard to unzip the boots.

These boots were extremely comfortable but with 5 wears the heel was already showing signs of poor manufacturing. The rubber heel is peeling off every day. I'm torn because they are comfortable but for $150 I'm not sure I can justify or recommend these boots.

I like the look of the she, but just very uncomfortable for me.

Unfortunately, boots made in China have the same sole no matter the width, heel area was too large.

The bottom had a cheap, smooth, synthetic bottom with no protection from slippery surfaces. I returned them. Very disappointing that for the price they were made very cheaply.

Runs very large. The heel made a lot of noise when walking on tile or wood. I was disappointed overall.

I have a pair of Softwalk booties in another color/fabric and love them. I was so surprised at the poor quality of the black suede. It was shiny and had a distressed look, much different than the picture on the website.

I purchased the Softwalk boots back during the summer months - and finally got the chance to wear them on a trip last weekend. The first day I wore the boots, the heal fell off and luckily I was able to find it and placed it back on. But since this was the only shoe I took on a weekend trip, it fell out again and I lost it. Very disappointed as I had to walk around in these boots (different levels) for the rest of the trip.

Boots were nice, comfortable, but worn already. The heel suede was matted down and there were marks on the side. Customer service told me I could return them, which of course I did. What a bother. I ordered the same boots, different color from Softwalks. Softwalks sent me new ones, not used ones. I'll keep those.

Super comfy right out of the box. However, the "suede" on the toes and heels is rubbed off and shiny. Tried 2 pairs with same defects.

These have a crazy amount of arch support that feels almost like a rock. I have normal arches and these shoes hurt. I sent them back right away.

Very disappointed in the quality ! In less than 3 weeks the rubber on the heels has worn down to the metal. I would never purchase shoes from this company. At over $135 one would expect them to last longer.

These boots are not worth the price. The heels wore out after four months, and only the front half of the boots are leather. I doubt they will make it to a second season.

The ankle was uncomfortable

The look of this suede was so disappointing! It came scuffed looking on the toes and heels. I never even put the shoes on my feet!!! For the price this is a disgrace!! If I could give a zero rating I would, that’s how bad the suede looked!!

DON’T BUY! I bought these one month ago and they are falling apart. I am so disappointed. They fit great and look great but for the amount they cost I should get a season of wearing them before they start falling apart

Loved these at first but after 2 months of light wear, the heels wore on both. Expected much more from this brand and price point.

Although the boots are super comfortable and I want to love them, the quality is horrid!! The heal is peeling off after 3 wears. Save your money!

I really wanted to love these boots! They are cute and so comfortable. However after a few months of wearing them in beautiful fall weather, the heel started to fall apart. I couldn't believe that a shoe of this price would have such a cheap heel. I have since read other reviews which stated the same issue. That was a year ago. I actually checked back to see if the manufacturer corrected the problem because I do love the look and fit. But no, they have not. I will now never buy SoftWalk shoes again.

What? I have the Sam edelman petty boots and wanted a version in black with a rounder toe. I thought these would work but they just look so damn ugly and cheap. Nothing like the Sam Edelman ones. They are also not as round toe in reality as they are in the photos. Sadly they look cheap looking and unflattering. The search for a flat wide width ankle boot in black with no buckles continues. Sigh.

I have an extrm high arch and wear a 10 in Vionic Muir sandals, and an 11W in Vionic shoes, but Vionic booties styles are too tight around the top of my foot, and too narrow in the heel. I tried these in WW, and while the footbed of the bootie has a nice arch, it hits right in the center of my foot, no where near the outer edge!!! WHT???
