True to size and width. Scuffed on the first day after I tripped on the bus...and the leather is not that thick. Fixed with at home shoe kit, but wish the leather exterior was thicker.

These were comfortable in so many ways except the arch support didn't work for me. It felt forced (not a gradual rise) and hit in an odd spot. It felt like a large marble. Too bad because it's hard to find a nice match with a comfort shoe and style.

sorry to send these back. The front cuff hits the front of my lower leg when I walk and the edge is stiff. The innersole is wonderfully soft and they are cute shortie boots but not for me.

The arch support is very pronounced, like a lump under my arch. I found this uncomfortable, although I suppose it's something you could get used to. I ordered them in black, and I didn't care for how the black looked with the tannish heel. I think it would have looked better in black. Otherwise, a nice shoe.

Cute boots but they did look a bit wide from the top. The fit was good, it just made my feet look wide. The sole was very comfy and the arch support was amazing. The only thing I didn’t really like was that the way this boot is cut it sort of rubbed against the front of my ankle. I would not say that it was painful, but I prefer to wear no show socks with this type of boot and it was annoying to me to feel the boot on my ankle. I am sure that this is sort of a personal hang up, and for others is may not be an issue. Also if you plan to wear these with taller socks you might not notice it as much.

So like the other reviews stated, there is not much cushion but plenty of room to add an insert. Loose enough on the ankles as well.

I wasn't sure what to expect from these shoes but I am pleasantly surprised! They are soft and supportive in all the right places. Nothing fancy here – just a well-made, basic shoe.

Too wide in heel. Debated returning the booties. Using a pad on the heel. Width is a good fit for the toes. Sole is cushioned nicely making them comfortable.

I was not familiar with this brand so gave it a try. (Thank You Zappos for free shipping both ways!) These were just a tiny bit too long. I sent these back for the 9.5 Narrow which turned out to be perfect. I am so happy to find another brand I can wear. Currently it is mostly Stuart Weitzman and Van Eli in my closest. Every so often I can find something that fits at Nordstrom Rack from a brand I do not wear. Loooking forward to wearing these. They are very comfortable!

Had to return due to the ankle opening being WAY TOO BIG. These are not suitable for thin ankles. They had enough heel slippage to be annoying for me, perhaps the heel was a bit too wide. If they had a significantly smaller ankle opening I would have kept these. The look and quality are great and the cushioned insole is nice.

These shoes are comfortable and won't crush your toes into a point. The normal width shoe is a bit more roomy than most boots (yay) and they even offer a wider version. The interior feels more like a sneaker than a hard leather shoe, which is great, even if the arch support is a bit of an insubstantial afterthought. But I didn't like the rubbery heel and sent them back. It felt a bit squashy/wobbly to walk around in them, and I ended up buying a hard/lower heel. It is easy to imagine this being someone's perfect shoe, though, so it's worth checking out if you're aiming for comfort. They look good, too.

I love the boot and it is super comfortable. I ordered a narrow and really need a AA so it is wide on me. If the boot stretches at all, I will not be able to wear it. I like the material but would have liked a darker color for the heel. Over time, it will darken I hope. Really wish designers would offer more in the AA range for those who truly have narrow feet. Heel height is just right and very comfortable to walk distances.

Super cute on, felt comfortable right out of the box with a soft inner arch (though quite high). The suede was beautiful, but unfortunately had a flaw running the full length down the front. I exchanged them for another pair (unbeatable service by Zappo’s!), and those too had a flaw - a soft depression in the sole right at the ball of the foot. So disappointing. If you get a good pair though they’re keepers!

I ordered five pairs and chose one to keep. I sent this one back but it was a tough decision. It was very comfortable and stylish but I chose one with a little more arch support. But this one was great too!

These were really comfortable right out of the box. Wore them all day at work with a lot of walking and on a rainy day, and they felt great. It's hard for me to find shoes wide enough for my duck feet, but the WW was really roomy. That's probably why they're a little clunky looking, but overall they look good. They are high enough on the ankle to cover a short sock. I didn't see any of the white powder mentioned in other reviews.

Very comfortable shoes. There was glue seeping around the toe to sole seam. I was going to overlook it but then the facade of the heel starting peeling after just a few wears. I am exchanging for a replacement pair. Fingers crossed they new pair is better made as they are cute and comfy!

Great quality and feel. Very comfortable. I will be returning because it runs large and need to reorder a smaller size.

i ordered both softwalk 'rocklin' and 'raven' because i wanted to see both in person. both felt true to size and the 'wide' had plenty of room in the toe box for my wide foot and is comfortable on my very high instep as well. i was also able (with little effort) to remove the insole in the booties which holds my foot orthodics perfectly. usually a hard combo to find....wide and will accommodate my orthotics. i ended up keeping 'rocklin' because i needed something more dressy and can only wear no/low heel. also love the patterned suede at the back 1/3. it's much better looking in person than on the screen. THANK YOU once again Zappos for being my go to for a hard to fit foot!

The only issue is that these are really more brown than orange, but as always softwalk shoes are amazingly comfortable and the black pair of these I've had for 2 years and just had the heels replaced after walking for miles in them in New York City.

Footbed had great padding and overall the boot looked nice except it was much too wide for my 9 1/4" ankles. This turned out to be the biggest problem with all 6 styles I tried. Too bad, I really wanted a pair of these to wear with leggings and skinny jeans
