Super cute but unfortunately had to return. Based on reviews, I ordered an 8.5 rather than my usual 8 and fit was perfect for my foot, but the back dug into my heel. I’m on the short side with a wider calf so unfortunately this is a common fit challenge for me. Rather than risk it, I exchanged these for the Sorel out and about conquest boot and absolutely love them! These weren’t the right fit for me, but I’d still recommend trying them in a heartbeat. And as usual, Zappos is the best!

I had tried the Sorel Slimpack II several times always returning them because the toe box was SO narrow, even in a full size and a half up from my normal size 9. I love Sorel but was fully ready to try something else if the Winter Carnival boots were also too narrow and small. I am SO glad to report they’re great. I did order a size up to allow for heavy winter socks (northern Illinois), and they are definitely geared for handling cold. The tongue is gusseted, so tromping through the snow this winter with my kids won’t be problematic. I wish they had the aesthetics the Slimpack has (quilted top, suede uppers, color combinations for the black boot with the red laces), but overall, I’m much happier with this boot comparatively. And I am SO glad Sorel hasn’t redrawn everything to be so narrow!

i liked these boots and wanted to keep them, but they rubbed my big toe. i had tried a different size but although it felt comfy almost everywhere, it also rubbed my big toe. and this was just walking around the living room -- i don't think it would have improved outside in the winter. it's not leather so i doubt it was going to 'give' a little. i liked that the inside gusset or tongue came up fairly high so it would keep out snow from getting my socks wet. but it's just not going to work to be rubbing against my toe/toenail. there wasn't any noticeable arch support, but it was 'felt' and probably would have adjusted to my foot leaving a natural arch support. i'm just sorry it didn't work out.

These are very warm & comfy. Sorel discontinued my favorite winter boots that I've had for years, and it was finally time to replace them. These are clunkier/heavier than my old ones and not quite as easy to just slip on & off, but they are excellent boots overall. Sorel, please bring back the original felt cozy bou!!

I like the boot. It feels only a touch too short but when I press down it’s not. I don’t understand why. But if I get a larger size it will be too big. I think they are ok. Really cute

Usually 9 to 9.5 in boots, these were 9.5. Felt a bit sloppy, biggest issue was lack of arch support; I have average to flatter arches. If I'd been able to get insoles into boot, likely would have been fine. Tried but could not insert other insoles, the boot has thick felt insert for insulation and ankle area seemed to be too narrow to slide insert through (boots do not have removable insoles). Returned.

I have lots of boots but just needed a warm boot for outside use when shoveling, going to chicken coop and bird feeder. These boots do it! They are very warm. Sometimes when I am short on time I put them on without socks...feet stay warm! They are a bit chunky but I am not trying to make a fashion statement in cold Michigan weather. (I have other boots for that)

I loved the look but unfortunately like other reviewers noted, they dig in the back of the heel. I noticed it within a few steps. I reallly wanted to like them but knew there was no way I could walk very far in them. And they’re too much money to have to modify or break in to that extent.

These boots are adorable and they fit great. I feel they’re very true to size. The only downfall is that the tongue has absolutely no insulation. It is a thin ripstop fabric type of material and the sides of the boots don’t meet in front of the shin. I can’t imagine how this could possibly be warm in extremely cold weather. I will be returning and looking for a fully insulated boot.

I really want to love these boots, they're cute and well made, but while they fit up front, I found them very loose around the ankle and the heel. They perhaps run a teeny bit large generally.

Great looking boot but SO UNCOMFORTABLE! Gives me blisters everytime

I’ve been eying these for a while and finally ordered 2 pairs (8.5 & 9). I normally wear either. I’ve seen these boots on other people and they look really cute. I have a wide calf and they looked very odd on me. They could lace up tight and snug but the foux fur part at the top didn’t come close to meeting in the middle by the laces. There was a huge gap and it looked and felt strange. As for size the 8.5 fit well. They are big and clunky so a good way to tell if the size is good is to try on just the liner. If that fits well then the rest of the boot should be good even if it feels/ looks big. I wish these had worked out because they seem very warm.

I ordered these because I need a new pair of snow boots. I wore them around the house for a couple days but unfortunately they were just too big. And I found them heavy and clunky. I know people who have these and love them but they just didn't work for me.

I wanted to love this boot. I ordered my normal size and this boot ran a little big. The back of the boot would fold in and hit my ankle when I walked around in it at home. This was my second size try on this boot so I give up. It is not for me. It is also very clunky. Definitely a winter season boot.

These felt very clunky and heavy. Inside felt flat and not supportive. When I walked the stiff back folded and hit me in the heel.

Love the boot, however something in the heel isn’t right and rubs against me every-time I move. So unfortunately I’m returning and my search continues.

The shoe is too bulky making it hard to walk and I couldn’t drive with it on at all

I wanted to like these, but they didn’t fit well (too wide) and looked like clunky snowboarding boots

The fit was good but a little bulky. As advertised they are waterproof and I found them to be comfortable. The problem with them is that o bought them for walking in the snow. They have absolutely no grip. So if the snow is a bit hard packed one will be skating with them. I have slipped and fallen several times.

The tabs on this boot are leather. I had called Sorel and Zappos, and neither could give me a sure answer. Inside the tongue the symbol says leather. I don't wear leather so they are going back.

Looking forward to some snow to try them out! Not my first pair of Sorel's.....my first choice in warmth and traction for winter:)

I bought these in preparation for my February 2025 trip to the Invictus Games in Vancouver-Whistler. I purchased a half size larger after reading reviews, and I'm glad I did! I have another style on the way. I hope I'm happy with those as well!

Boots well made and clearly will keep feet dry. I liked the removable and washable inner. However I’ve had surgery on my right foot and across the ball of my foot felt quite tight. The left one fit perfectly. Unfortunately I had to return.
