After trying on a few different pairs of shoes, these were by far the most comfortable and stylish shoes for my 12 year old picky daughter.

The fit and support was exactly what I have come to expect from Ryan athletic shoes.

My feet are wide and buying shoes has always involved compromise, until now. These are the most comfortable shoes for treadmill walking I have ever worn. I will buy Rykas again.

Comfortable. No break-in time needed

This is my first pair of Rykas. People usually rave over the wide toe box, but as I find all athletic shoes fit me narrow, I thought that I'd better get a wide just in case. Very glad that I did. I don't think a regular size would have felt as comfortable. I normally wear a 7-1/2 and sometimes have to go a full size up in athletic shoes, but the Rykas fit perfectly true to size. Felt very comfortable. My only hesitation is that they don't have the level of arch support that I'm used to. I think this would suit you if you want something for going to the grocery store, getting on the ellipitcal, and general light athletic support. If you don't have any feet issues, they should be fine for walking. I'm a bit nervous, as I have issues with Plantar fasciitis, and I want to walk extensively in the neighborhood. The price was great for these on sale -- nearly half of what I might normally pay for athletic shoes when I have so much difficulty finding comfortable ones. I'm going to wear them around the house a little more to decide if I will keep them. But I'm favorably impressed with the sizing for this shoe. For comparison, my previous pair of athletic shoes were a Mizuno Wave Alchemy 12. Mizunos run super small and I had to get an 8-1/2 to fit. The Rykas are true to size, and the 7-1/2 pair is the same length as the 8-1/2 Mizunos.

Ryka is my "go to" shoe for the gym and everything else. This pair of shoes confirmed my commitment. I can wear them for a workout without having to break them in. Love them.

I wear a size 9, I bought a size 9 and it fit comfortably right out of the box. The style looks great, does not look or feel big or bulky. I typically wear Dr. Scholl arch supports for plantar fasciitis... no need for extra support unless I'm going for a long walk or hike. Love these sneakers!
