This is my third pair of these very comfortable boots, unfortunately the ankle part is a lot bigger on this last pair. They were already elfish looking, when they fit a bit snugger (not tight). I do not know if it was just this pair or if they began making the opening wider.

I am returning this boot as the heel felt too big. My foot slipped when I walked. I have other Vionic Orthoheel shoes that I really like. The service that I get at Zappos is excellent.

Cute boot but not as much support as I had hoped. Too much $$ to keep for so-so support. Ordered 1 size up to account for thicker socks but show was tight with thin pair.

I usually wear a size 7 and these were actually too big. I ended up having to return them. They did seem comfortable for my plantar fasciitus but I decided another a different pair altogether.

Bought these for my mom as a birthday gift. Luckily, I had her try them on ahead of time. She has been wearing Vionic sandals and flats for a few years and felt these boots ran narrow. Unfortunately, I had to return them, but the the overall style was cute.

The boot looks nice but doesn't have the same support as the brand's flip flops. There is also no way you could wear thick socks with these boots. I do not want to have to go up a 1/2 size to do so. Due to the lack of arch support is the primary return reason.

Although the boot felt good on my foot, it rubbed around the ankle area so I am sending them back. Wish I had read the reviews first!

#1 I love Vionics and these are super comfortable boots. But please - Vionics - just because you make a comfortable shoe, please don't make it ugly. The soles of these need to have a bit more character. If these boots had the soles of a San Miguel sandal (and you could do that an preserve the wonderful support that makes Vionics so wonderful) then you would have the perfect boot. But with the current style, I was reminded of Peter Pan boots or Jedi Knight boots -- and those aren't the looks I'm going for. I live in your sandals - comfortable and cute! I would love to have reason to live in your boots too. But just because I want comfortable shoes, doesn't mean I'll settle for lack of style.

The heel was very wide and slipped off, so I returned them. They look cute, but if you wear loose (not super skinny or short) the ankle part is covered up and it just looks like a plain shoe.

These boots are nice but they look a bit orthopedic. I still wear them but I hope Vionic changes the front design. They are comfortable but still not as comfortable as my Merrills, which are so ugly because they are hiking shoes. Still in search of a comfortable good looking boot.

I liked the style of the boot. Felt comfortable with enough support. I had to return the boot as my ankle was swimming! Even with tightening the buckle it did not help. Anyone with small ankles this will not work unless you plan to wear thick socks and add heel grips.

Not as high of an arch as the mule clogs I bought. I am keeping the clogs and returning the boots. I will be ordering insoles to put in an old pair of boots that I have.

Although I liked the Orthaheel technology, the shoe itself was not bunion friendly and after an hour of wear, my bunion was inflamed. Also the ankle was very wide. For someone without a bunion, the shoe would be very comfortable.

I bought these shoes last year. I wear a 10 and these were a little too big. They were not as cute as I had hoped. For the price, I wish Vionic used a higher quality leather like Keen or Merrell. They appear cheap even though they have a leather upper. I love Vionic and have several of their flip flops. I am hopeful they become a little more fashionable in their dress shoes. This brand is the only one where I don't have pain with my plantar fasciitis. Keep working Vionic! I love your shoes.

Unlike other Vionic shoes, this boot offers little or no arch support. It's cute and would be very wearable if not so painful on the arches. Sadly, it had to go back.

I am sending these back because they just looked a lot more plain and clunky in person than in the photos. I am usually a 7, and they were very loose in the heel and ankle, even though there was a strap to tighten. Sad, I was looking forward to them

These ankle boots run true to size. But the problem is that inside the boot is the most uncomfortable I've ever worn. There is a strap inside that hits right on the ankle bone. Ouch! I have many flip flops in this brand. Sorry the boots are so uncomfortable.

I was very excited to receive these lovely booties, however, I am terribly disappointed in the quality. The leather is very thing and very soft. After wearing them in the house for less than four hours, they looked like a worn out pair of shoes. For the price I expected a better quality shoe.
