Love theses shoes! I like the reverse pattern on the soles, as soon as I put these on I instantly ordered another pair! Most comfy Vans I've worn!! I'd order more but out of my size? Awesome shoes!!

These are amazing shoes! Even though these were made for snow, I use them for rain and let me tell you, they are extremely waterproof. The only downside is, since the inside lining of the shoe is red, I would stray away from using white socks when wearing these because some of the color rubs off into your socks. But definitely one of Vans Finest!

These are great! My pair of vans half cabs finally wore out and it was time to get new shoes. I liked the vans but was hoping to get something better suited to wintry rainy conditions. I went on Zappos and first thing in see in vans are the shoes, how perfect! Walking through cold wet grass is a minor issue as the water runs off instead of soaking your socks. The black on black is a good look too.

I absolutely love these! They are comfortable and warm. I was looking for an in between boot and sneaker and these are perfect. I wore them walking around San Fransisco for a night and was good to go. Plus I have been stopped to ask where my shoes are from.

Great fit. I normally go with the low tops. but that might change from now on. The MTE's are warmer and don't give you that chill you can get with canvas vans. Was also able to try them out in the rain. The rain resistant coating did the job. If you want something cooler than duck boots, got with these.

Love Zappos! I use customer service as I prefer the human voice. There is no company I can find that has such fun, engaging people working for them. Can't wait to shop more.

I purchased the light grey with brown trim. These felt like "Cinderella's Slipper" when I put them on! Instant comfort! I am usually a 7.5-8 in woman's size. The 7.5 fit me perfect, 8 would have been too big. I love these so much, they are like 4WD sneakers with style! What a sick invention Vans! My favorite shoe ever, living in a snowy climate. They really do keep your feet warmer. I'm addicted & will probably have to get a second color now! By the way, all the color options are stellar, was so hard to pick.

I took them out in the heavy rain, they did a pretty good job keeping the water out. I mean, I was not wading in huge puddles knee deep or anything but I think they will hold up well through the fall/winter. I love the traction on them, that feels great, I wish that they were lighter but I guess they need to be thick and durable to keep out the rain.

I love that these have Scotchgard for water/snow resistance. I haven't been able to do a full test in actual snow/flooding rain, but they do a great job keeping water out so far. Contemplating if I should get another pair honestly in another color.

A lot of Vans are too narrow for my foot and with the standard Sk8-Hi's I have to basically unlace the shoe to get it on. Not so with the MTEs. These are great and have become my go-to shoe during the winter. They are so comfortable that I wore them everywhere on my trip to NYC a couple years ago. I just wish it you could buy Vans brand replacement laces in a slightly longer size. I ended up buying some Dr. Martens rolled waxed laces and they were perfect. Definitely worth the extra money to buy these shoes.

I purchased these for walking at the park with my kids when it’s colder out and I need something a littler more insulated than regular athletic shoes. They’re very cute and keep my feet warm and dry in light rain. The sole doesn’t have any arch support, and that could bother someone who needs it. I haven’t found them to bother me even after longer 2-3 hour walks.

These are super fun with the fur. I usually wear an 8 and they are a little big and kind of wide but I kept them and wear. Still comfortable and different.

I got these for their versatility and casual styling. I'm a jeans and tshirt gal in the midwest, where the weather fluctuates quite a bit. I've had these on my feet two days now. First impression, stiff but fit was great. I love the extra width to accommodate heavy socks and allow for proper toe room. They fit well with regular socks, no sliding. They are breaking in nicely with wear and will only look better so long as they hold up. They have some arch support. Cushion is low-moderate. I work on concrete floors and had no heel shock walking all day today so there is some cushion. There is probably room for a thin insole. These lean more toward a masculine fit and look. I have the brown leather with herringbone ankle and they look casual and functional with skinny jeans/leggings or wider leg jeans. I am a satisfied customer.

Very nice shoe.

I had a couple pairs of similar shoes (black high top/sneaker boots) that I wore for years but couldn't find any. Found these and bought them even though there were a few negative reviews about not water proof. They fit well but do not have arch support, very flat. I did put in my orthotics that gave support but then put my foot up a little. It's not a problem though and I use them for casual wear but also to be able to move well if needed. I have not used them in rain or snow but probably will use snow boots in snow and not these.

Shoe fit well, but color was not what I expected and didn’t match the photo. Color looked faded and drab, sent these back

First off, these shoes are gorgeous. A little tight around the proximal phalange. But it looks like somebody went haywire applying the Scotchguard to the right shoe--the tartan fabric at the ankle was gooped up with a sticky substance. A pity.

Nice suede burgundy red, White laces seemed to pick up the dye, very comfortable and warm, I ordered a half size smaller, to see if they feel any better, current ones seem a bit larger than my last pair. I like this style, soft interior. Not sure about the white bumper? Will get dirty in the city. I've narrow feet and they are fine. I like vans, over converse, they have a roomier toe box and are more comfortable. Plus they come in suede and canvas. I have a pair from last Xmas Have worn them nearly everyday. They're, Still in good shape! Just need washing? Not sure if they're machine washable? My favourites. I dunno why I didn't wear vans years ago? I'd always just used to see black and white slip on checkerboard they didn't appeal to me! My son got me my first pair! I'm happy that they have kept my feet pretty warm and dry!

This is my third pair of SK8-Hi MTE's. I went with the Black/Gum pair for the sole fact that they had a fleece lining. I wish Vans would add this to more of their MTE line as I feel the fabric liners are just stiff and uncomfortable. As far as the shoe itself goes it is not as good as the SK-Hi MTE North Face edition that this is replacing, the North Face edition feel far more supportive and have more of the "cush" factor. These shoes are also a bit narrow but I think they will stretch out a little bit with time. Overall, these are a good shoe and great for winter.

I’m not sure if vans are starting to run small, but I had to go up half a size when ordering. They fit nicely after that though. I love how no two pairs are exactly the same since the brown leather is different. I accidentally dropped a blob of mayo on the toe of one of my shoes. I wiped it with a napkin, and was going to apply some cleaner but forgot. Within minutes my shoe looked exactly normal and didn’t leave any stain or residue!! I was happy camper

Great Vans for fall/winter!

Took a little while to break in, the high top was a bit stiff.

Very comfortable and really cute ??

my daughter LOVES these sneakers but they feel a tad tighter than the normal sneaker fabric. We're ordering in the next size, fingers (and toes) crossed!
