Purchased this jacket for my daughter. Love the color and fit however, wish it was lined with a warmer fabric. It has the same material on the outside of the jacket in the inside and at the seem on the arm there is a hole. The seem came undone and had to be re sown after only wearing twice.

This is not a warm coat at all

The coat itself is an okay coat the color I got which was the last color in size they had get very dirty very easy I only had the coat a week in it looks very dirty in old

I was hoping for something a little warmer for South Dakota winters. The fit was okay.

It is an ok jacket it wasn't as thick as I thought it would be but it is very pretty. It would be best to wear a thick sweater under. I live in Chicago so I needed a really warm coat for my daughter.

Bought this jacket for my 13 year old daughter in the green. Love the style with fur, color, and light weight of coat. She ordered xl (5'4", 115lbs) and it fits well. However for skiing or playing in the snow this coat gets soaked very quickly. Not what I expected of columbia quality and water repellant reputation.

This coat runs very small! My daughter is only 70lbs and the medium she can barely zip. I would recommend going up 2 sizes in this coat. The color is fabulous and it's very girly. The weight seems nice but not sure on the warmth yet as we have to send it back for a larger size.

I purchased this coat for my average sized 12 year old daughter. I purchased a size 14-16, and it was way too small. Perhaps it would fit a 10 year old. Otherwise, the coat seemed to be well made.

I love Columbia products but this jacket is just bad enough to leave a review. After 1 wash, the fabric under the zipper puffed up and started getting caught caught in the zipper. That fabric is thin and rips easily so it ripped. Now I have to help my child zip/unzip since it is difficult to hold and pull the zipper in a way to avoid the fabric that is prone to being caught. If other adults don't know the nuance of this jacket, they have trouble too. I compared fabrics of other jackets we have and this is definitely a design flaw. I purchased this jacket in Jan 2020 so maybe they changed something since then. I may try the warranty but since you have to pay for shipping back to Portland with tracking and follow-up (possibly calling and being on hold for a long time), it may not be worth the hassle.

This coat did not fit my granddaughter well, the sleeves were long and the body part of it was too fitted to be able to bundle up in the winter. So it is going back.

My daughter LOVED this coat but the zipper would get stuck every time she had it on to the point in ripped the inside of the zipper. (Only had a week). Columbia needs to come up with a better fabric for inside behind the zipper.

We bought the aqua color and it was too bright. Wasn’t what we were looking for, also the fur around the collar looked cheap. This was a return

After reviewing the reviews for this jacket, I got it firmly daughter for the cold weather. It's been a little cold herein NY.. and my daughter was crying she's very cold in this jacket. Thank God I had here wear it now, instead of when it really gets cold outside with snow.

I bought 4 different brands of coats for my daughter to pick from. She chose this coat in Paisley Purple. She wore it for less than a month and the zipper doesn't work anymore. It splits after she zips it and is very hard to take off now.

The coats are beautiful and quality is amazing. However the fit was horrible. I read all the bad reviews and still decided to purchase, well the negative reviews were correct and had to return them. Fit is too tight because of the style and I bought a size bigger for my girls. Went with another Columbia style for our snow trip.

The size is very unreasonable, the sleeves are very long, and the waist and chest are very narrow. I bought S (7-8) when I was 6 years old, and I can barely zip it up. I will not consider this brand of coats in the future.

The arms fit odd and it cut in at the waist. It's a very narrow jacket. Didn't work for my seven year old. I thought it was pretty and tried two sizes but the cut of the jacket is just off.

Material thin- my daughter ripped two of the same jacket twice while playing in the snow .... not worth the money -

Purchased one for my 4 and 6 year old. Have always purchased the fleeces which have held up very well. This jacket is literally falling apart. It's been washed three times, following the directions. Two seams coming apart where the hood attaches and two seams coming apart down the front inside, on each side. Quilting stitching coming out on the front right side. Kids jackets must hold up better and for this price point, it's disappointing it's not lasting. I looked up the warranty, and I have to send the jacket back for an evaluation which can take weeks. Not really practical to do in the middle of winter-unless I want to buy her a new coat. So I will go through that after it warms up. I would love to post the pictures but don't see that option.

This is a beautiful, well-made coat. Unfortunately, it's too small, especially in the arms. Our 12 year-old daughter is 5' tall and 96lbs.according to the growth chart in her pediatrician's office, she's averaged-sized. She does not have exceptionally long arms, nor is she built like Popeye. I mention this because we first ordered this coat for her in a Large, thinking she'd have room to grow. When we got it, we could see how well it's made and how warm it would be. Our daughter was thrilled until she tried it on- she could barely get her arms in it and once shoved them down the sleeves completely, she couldn't bend them. She just stood there, a laughing 12 year-old girl, frozen in a giant coat, doing her very best impression of the kids in the movie "A Christmas Story." We sent it back and ordered an XL, which according to Columbia's size chart, is an 18/20. Same problem. The coat was baggy around her body, but the sleeves were still tight and digging into her arm pits. Again, this coat is allegedly sized for a kid usually wearing an 18/20. Our kid is a size 12-14 in most other brands. We had to send it back and buy a coat from a competitor, which incidentally, fit her with room to spare. Sadly, she didn't get the coat she wanted, and I'm out the shipping costs x2. If your kiddo is on the small side, it might be a good fit. But for our average-sized 12 year old, this just didn't work.

I purchased this coat for my daughter who is seven years old I purchased it in the color faded sky. I washed it today due to it being dirty and now it has stains all over it from washing it. I washed it on cold water and put it in the dryer on low. I washed it with nothing else. Super disappointed she only wore the coat for a month and it's already ruined. I already have to buy a new one.

I order this jacket by the size chart online nd no it's not true to it size xs is 6/7 I'm thinking is going to fit nd no when I got the coat nd I put it on it was small nd I look at the tag nd it say xs is 6/6x. columbia need to fix the size chart this is impassable I can't stand it u order a jacket nd it comes out wrong because the size chart is not the same as the tag on the coat.

I mistakenly purchased the wrong size for the jacket , but the jacket is perfect for winter for kids.

True to size. Keeps my daughter very warm!
