I loved this coat for my 7 yr. old. This coat is true to its size. However, it doesn't leave room for a sweater. I bought a medium because the large size was out of stock. I would love to buy this coat in a size large. I would recommend buying this coat.

I brought it 0ctober19 for her birthday and she adores it. It's very warm and fits her well. She can put a sweatshirt under it if needed. She'll be able to fit it next year too. She'll be as snug as a bug on those cold days.

This coat is great for Chicago winters.

When my daughter put on the coat we both looked at each other and said I love this coat. We both laughed.

I got this jacket for my daughter in 2015, she loves it and I love it. Very warm and excellent quality. I highly recommended it.

LOVE this jacket. Columbia's hoods are awesome, they are comfortable and stay on. You don't need a hat (although a head band is nice for your forehead). The color is a gorgeous purple. Much nicer then the photo. My daughter looks so grown up in it. She loves it. Daughter measured for an x small but ordered the small based on reviews and is fits good. She will be able to use it next year too.

Bought this coat for my 6yr old granddaughter. she loved it looked beautiful in it kept her very warm. Bought the same coat for my 4yr old granddaughter but the sleeves were way to long for her did not return it because it was a beautiful coat but did take it to the smestress to take the sleeves in. fits perfect now. Worth it.

I purchased this jacket for my 11 year old daughter, I purchased a large to give her room for heavy sweaters underneath and for extra length and I would say it's perfect. It was great to have the choice of black as my daughter is not a fan of the typical "girlie" colors. Very happy with this purchase!

My daughter loves this jacket. It's the perfect length to keep her warm, but still allow movement to play outdoors. The Omni heating panels help to keep her at a comfortable temperature. I purchased the jacket a little bigger so she could wear it for a few years. It definitely true to size.

My grand-daughter got this for her annual ski trip last year and loves it. We bought it a little large since she lives in Florida and are very pleased with the fit and comfort. She will also be wearing it this year for her one week of winter.

It's so hard to buy quality clothing for growing kids. Intelligent sleeves that grow with the child; Brilliant!!! I think my child will want a new coat before she needs one.

Daughter loves it. Nice and comfy. Maybe a bit too warm for GA, but it gets cold in the mornings. The sleeves have a nice spandex-like inner sleeve. It keeps the breeze out.

This was purchased for one of our exchange students from Thailand who is used to a very tropical climate and was FREEZING here in northeast Indiana by October. She absolutely LOVES the jacket and states it keeps her cozy and warm. (She's even taking it home to Thailand as a sort of "souvenir."

Material is not heavy but warm. Stylish. Very nice fit.

My twin daughters are very slim and this jacket keeps them very warm during low temperatures and rain. The jackets are light weight and flexible for all their school and other outdoor activities.

With a pre-teen its hard to get something that they absolutely love and its functional. This coat is cute and warm which is 5 stars in my book. We are ready for illinois winter.

Bought this for my granddaughter, she is 4, tall and thin, the smallest size fit her with a little room to grow. The plum color is beautiful and it looks well made. She lives where it gets quite cold so I was looking for something both functional and cute, this seems to do both. Bonus, she loves the sparkly inside.

I bought his coat for my 6 yr old daughter recently and I love it ! Love the fact that it is a long coat so much better having a longer coat because I feel that it protects better and keeps the cold out. Price is reasonable and great quality Ive boughten her a north face before and I have to say that they are both great quality coats and warm just the same but Columbia coats are a lot more reasonable when it comes to price and I paid a lot more for a north face and it wasn't even a long coat. I think a long coats are a must for kids especially if they love playing outside
