It is exactly what we expected. This was a re-order. Durable, consistent product.

This is my first pair of Timberland boots in 22 years. I've worn Vasque, Scarpa, Keen, Redwing, & Ecco boots over the last 27 years (mostly Ecco since 1998), but I saw these Timberland's and wanted to try them - glad I did. Good fit, good water resistance (nothing is truly waterproof), easy & quick break in with no blistering, and good support. These are great for the trails, basic field work, and anytime you need a comfortable boot with some ankle protection. I have a bad right Achilles tendon now (I'm 54), and it has a knot on one side the size of a small acorn. It's scar tissue that will never go away. I needed a mid-hiker with a downward slope from the tongue to the heel that keeps me moving in the field and when hiking without aggravating my Achilles. The Mt. Maddsen does just that - it has cushioned support around the heel and moves just enough to keep my Achilles from flaring up badly. Can't say enough about this boot!

I bought these to go hiking in Alaska on vacation. I couldn't find any women's waterproof high ankle hiking boots in all black. I searched forever and a friend told me she had a great paid of timberlands. Looking online i didn't see what I was looking for, except these. They were worth a shot, so I went to a local show store to try on a timberland men's boot and see if I liked it. I went 2 sizes smaller and am very impressed. I didn't get to break them in but I wore them without any problems. My boyfriend originally made fun of my men's boots but he now wants a pair. I love them.

I have worn these boots all over the place. From Ireland, to Mexico, to the desert mountains of west Texas and New Mexico. I love these boots. I have not had any issues with cheap material, or the boots falling apart anywhere, and I've been wearing them for 3 years (I do live in a hot climate, so I must add that they only get worn about 4 months out of the year, but still.) I would definitely buy these again. The only improvement I would like to see, is for a black pair with a side zipper for LE work.

The boots are very comfortable, provide nice support, and so far appear very durable. I have taken them through streams, and the waterproofing holds up well.

Fits well for me as the toe box is roomy and I need that along with snugness in the rest of the boot as my feet are skinny ("chicken feet"). This is my third pair in six years, I wear them a lot hiking and working outside.

Exceptionally comfortable boot. Exactly the fit I expected for a 10.5W. Love the metal lacing system that extends toward the toes allowing for various sock thickness and tightness. I'd expect these boots to last a long time except they're so comfortable I'll end up wearing them out with daily use..

These boots are very comfortable, with a perfect fit. The aggressive tread, sturdy midsole and water proof exterior combine to make one great hiking boot. The quick and easy laces, along with the long tongue, allow for quick and easy removal if they are covered with mud. I am very pleased with the performance so far on several day hikes, and I look forward to seeing how these hold up in the future.

This boot rocks. Only took about a day on the trails to break in, and after that everything was a playground. Extremely durable and good waterproofing. Have already logged about 55 miles in these guys with zero issues, something you don't often see with some of the boots out there.

This is the second time that I've purchased this boot model. The first time was years ago and, since then, I've decided (unless Timberland drastically changes the boot's characteristics)that I won't be looking for any other alternative. Great product and an almost "sure thing".

Even though I wouldn't label myself as a crazy adventurer, I use these in the snow, mud and rain, and they're great. I also use them when I explore through parks nearby and shallow creeks everywhere I see. These boots look good and feel good. They are great for casual wear, professional wear and anything in between. I would highly recommend these boots.

I'm retired army and haven't worn boots in a while. These are light weight and comfortable. No break in was required. I really like these boots.
