These boots are excellent. I rated them 3 stars is because the edge above the heel rubs my leg when I walk. There should be a pad or piece of smooth leather covering the edge.

This was a great boot. Like many reviewers I had to go through 3 sizes before landing on a wide, which fit very comfortably. I saw several comment that the medium feels narrow. Unfortunately, my soles wore out and Timberland informs me that they no longer make the wide version. Will have to try another brand.

Shoe looked fine but it was just not comfy by my ankles. It lacked top padding and rubbed my ankle bones because sharp top of shoe.

I bought this shoes as a gift for my husband, first time to purchase from timberland. It looks good and comfortable. After a WEEK of putting them on they were full of SCRATCHES and the PIGMENTS go off.its pricey and bad pigments and leather. Please see pictures attached

These look great and feel nice on the feet, but the top edges dig into the ankles and make them unwearable for me.

I got these shoes about 10 months ago. I generally wear these about 2-3 times per week. I had my feet measured and bought the shoes that matched my measurements. I slide back and forth in them. But at the same time, at the end of the day, the balls of my feet hurt and the back of the shoe still rub the back of my heals. Additionally, the laces have frayed at the first set of holes and the outer covering is now loose, exposing the underlying cord. I would expect this maybe after several years or from a cheap pair of shoes... I have a 4 year old pair of the Stormbucks and they are great. I can wear them all day and not be sore. They still look good for a shoe of 4 years. I also have a pair of Plymouth Trail boots that are about 10 years old. They are due for replacing but they still are holding together and don't leak in the rain. So you can understand my expectations and disappointment when I had issues so early in the use of these shoes.

Looks good but that's all. Timberland is just a name now. the 4 stars are for the look.
