Just the perfect running shoe for me. So much cushioning, and lightweight, too. Jogging feels very natural, and I don't think about how to run so much anymore. Most of my knee pain has subsided.

With approximately 75 miles on them so far I am happy with the Clifton. It is narrower and the sole is not quite as squishy compared to the Stinson. But they are incredibly light weight and have felt good on my feet. So far the materials and construction haven't given me any cause for concern. If you like feel of Hokas but are looking for a speedier model these seem to fit the bill.

A friend who's run in the Boston Marathon several times recommended the Cliftons. I run for an hour or two on pavement 2-3 times per week and noticed a significant reduction in knee and foot soreness. I'm about to purchase a second pair of these as my indoor running/workout shoes.

This was a hard-to-find item that even the manufacturer did not have in stock until after Christmas. I ordered a few days before Christmas, and it arrived exactly as advertised within two days. Zappos was awesome with tracking updates. The shoes are for my son. They fit perfectly, and he loves them.

My husband's feet and legs hurt every day from standing on concrete at work. He loves these sneakers! No more pain. They haven't been tried for any running or jogging but I highly recommend. The color I picked is a little bright for the 50 year old conservative but he wears them every day.

Awesome shoes I bought them for my boyfriend who was training for a marathon and had horrible hip pain. After running in these one time all his hip pain went away due to the amazing support in the heel. He says he will never buy another brand of running sneakers especially for long distance.

I used to run competitively in high school and college, but pretty much quit cold turkey about 20 years ago. Just starting to run again. Not running particularly long distances yet, but I bought these because my boss really liked his Hokas and I want to try to protect my joints. I was under the impression that the midsole was substantially thicker than the average running shoe. Photos give that impression, but they are deceiving; the white part extends up the side of the shoe past the top of the midsole, giving the appearance of a thicker midsole. That said, they are very light and very comfortable and feel like they will be easy on my joints. I would say that they are somewhat lacking in arch support, but that's not a big issue for me. My choices for the review were "Excellent", "Moderate" or "No" arch support. I would probably rate arch support somewhere between "No" and "Moderate" but that was not an option, so I chose "Moderate." I also wonder what the long term durability will be like, but I don't run very far so I'm not that concerned. The outsole does not appear very durable.

The Clifton is exactly the running shoe I needed. I am a 61 year-old long time runner with need for a very well-cushioned and flexible shoe, Nike Air models just were not cutting it anymore. The Cliftons were wonderful right from the first run. My only concerns are with long term durability; I have only had them a few weeks now. I have resigned myself to having to pay quite a bit for shoes that meet my physical needs (although I still think that much is absurd).

I have been running for 31 years of my life. This shoe is a "game changer." Light, soft, and smooth transition from mid foot to toe off. My knees, hips and back feel great after.

Hoka has nailed this one! The shoe is light weight, but still has the cushioning that is desired. The toe box is wide and for me fits comfortably (D width). I bought this shoe because of a recent knee surgery and have been very please with the results. I would recommend this shoe to those looking for comfort and cushioning.

I like these shoes very much. 30 miles in and they are my new favorite running shoe. No blisters and very soft cushioning. Laces seem to come untied easily, but other than that, these are great. Very good fit. No reflectors? Why would Deckers make a running shoe without reflectors anywhere?

These are the best runners I've ever owned, hands down. So light but super supportive. It feels like you are bouncing a bit as you hit the pavement. I've done sprint work as well as a half marathon, handles both perfectly. Put 100 miles on them already and they perform the same as day one still. The only downside is that they can pretty much only be worn for running in my opinion. They are so bouncy that it is sort of awkward to wear them for any cross training activities that require lateral movement. Also not as stylish as other brands, wouldn't throw them on to get groceries or under jeans. But from a running perspective these can't be beat!

Great shoe when your foot just does not want to run. Max cushioning even compared to my nimbus. Great shoe for bigger guys as well that love to run.

Shin splints be gone! Got these in spite of looking like something Frankenstein might wear on the playground. I was suffering from a variety of overuse issues in my lower leg. Massage and PT helped but as an addicted runner I struggled with taking time off. In the first five steps In these new shoes I had a new best friend. Still recovering but now I run without doing more harm. Thanks Hoka!

Bought these at a time when I was recuperating from an overuse injury. Started back up running, and in these shoes, it feels like I'm running in a pair of zero-gravity down-pillows.

I just bought my second pair. I love these shoes. Hands down the most comfortable shoe I have ever had on. Its like running on a pillow. The styles are very different. Not all are comfortable. I like the Cliftons. I'm running 20 miles plus a week. But I think this shoe is the best on the market for people who like comfort. I have everyone here at work wearing them now. RAF Grand Rapids MI

I am 58 years old with arthritis, bad knees, and back. This shoe offers enough cushion and support and allows me to run again. It does not have a lot of side stability so I have to be more aware of each step, but the overall ability to absorb the shock is outstanding.

This are my first Hoka One One shoes, and compare with my previous shoes Nike, this are an amazing running shoes. I'm little over weight and my doctor recommend this shoes, in order no to hurt my knees. So far really helps!

This is my second pair of Hoka's and I love them! Had the Brooks Glycerin and thought that they were the best for my new knee until I tried the Conquest, now the Hoka Runner is wonderful. I use it for walking every day...want to run with them but shouldn't...first time in a while I feel like running! Awesome!

I am 68 years old and have peripheral neuropathy. Previously if I tried to run I would suffer severe foot pain later that night. My wife and I each bought a pair of Clifton's after seeing the CEO on Mad Money with Jim Cramer. I was able to run 2.5 miles on my first test run and had No Pain! I will be recommending them to other peripheral neuropathy sufferers.

These shoes are fabulous. They are extremely light and have a thick sole with high traction rubber compound. I feel like I am running on air. I was able to start running again with these after a long bout of plantar fasciitis followed by a stress fracture to my 5th metatarsal bone. These shoes enable me to do so. I always wore a narrow (B width) shoe but these fit fine. With Zappos' great return policy, I was very comfortable buying these online since there were no retailers who carried the shoe near my home.

This is a fantastic shoe. I logged fifty miles and they are simply great. My plantar fasciitis is finally under control and I can enjoy running again.

Easily the best running shoes I've ever owned! Ultra lightweight while giving great support. I've run longer/better since getting these shoes than I have in 2 years. I'm 52 and have fought plantar fasciitis and thought my running days were over. Tried everything. Nothing worked. These shoes are amazing! They've given me my youth back to a degree. I'm buying a pair for my wife and have recommended to all my friends. Thanks Hoka and thanks Zappos!
