I wear size 16/17 shoes and have very flat feet; I've been wearing pairs of these for the past 4 years now and wouldn't think of switching to another shoe for running. I only wish they offered something a little more stylish.

Great everyday shoe for working out and stylish wear for those who aren't the avid runner

My husband has a hard to find shoe size! Zappos generally carries his size! Also, the Brooks brand is an excellent one! I wear the Brooks Adrenaline for running, and have for about 15 years.

Very supportive shoe, and comfortable to boot. 2nd pair of these, and I hope they never stop making them.

Bought these for my father and he loves them. Fits perfectly and very comfortable.He has flat feet and these are perfect!

Honestly this is my first review about anything... ever! Call me lazy as I always read the reviews during my obsessive research when making a purchase but to date have not contributed myself. In any case here goes... I am a very active 41 year old who is finally starying to feel the effects of all of the wear and tear years of being rad have wreaked on my body. I have been dealing with plantar fascitis due to excessive pronation and flat feet as well as an ankle sprain that hasnt fully healed after two months. I finally broke down after buying all sorts of insoles, special "plantar fascitis" shoes that look almost as cool as those worn by lunch lady's etc. And went to a podiatrist. I was told that I need more supportive shoes and a set of orthotics. After some research I ordered the Brooks Beast 14. First of all let's talk about the style, not usually much of an issue with me when making a decision but after the vibram five finger shoes and New Balance minimus that i am accustomed these shoes are a bit Frankenstein-ey in the sense that they have a gigantic sole with a plastic insert and multiple layer phone support. I'm assuming that that is exactly why these are so stinkin comfortable. The shoe is very sturdily built and fit true to size. I immediately felt a difference as far as heel and instep comfort but more importantly support. I am on my feet a lot and these shoes are correcting the issues that I had from the ground up. I would recommend these shoes to any active person seeking to stay active without foot pain. They are pricey but the build quality and materials are top notch.

Love the Beast! I've been wearing them for over 20 years now. The feel great from the moment you first wear them. Get a half size larger. Especially great for big guys. Solid foundation for any activity.

My husband has run in the Beast for years and loves them. It is easy for him to purchase replacements through Zappos and we love the speed of your delivery.

First time trying Brooks and they did not disappoint. Very comfortable but felt a little smaller at first and now fits well after a few wears.

Finally found out I need a 4E and I was buying M for all my life. After 37 years I found the most comfortable shoes on earth!

This is about the 4th pair I have purchased. Great shoes, but a bit narrower this year. I have had "D" width in the past, but had to go up to the next size "EE" for the same excellent fit. Great service from Zappos as always!

I needed shoes for long walks on pavement and Zappos came through big time with these Brooks Beasts. I've never had a shoe fit so perfectly and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They even smooth out my uneven gait. I tried 3 other brands before finding these and Zappos made it super easy and quick with their great return policy. To me shoe shopping is a huge chore but Zappos made it totally enjoyable and fast. Bottom line: Awesome!

I am a shoe fanatic. These are great for me. Have been wearing Brooks awhile for the support. I weigh 225 and 6 foot. I exercise a lot, walk, hike and bike. This is a new model for me and I like it. Great support. I had Planter fascia and I have to watch it. Zaps is always terrific of course. I live in the mountains, and boom right to my door. I always order a half to a full size more with Brooks.. Half size worked on these. I also use inserts like Happy Feet.

I love these shoes! I'm a bigger guy (250lbs) with wide feet (4E) and have regretted every time I tried to save a couple bucks by buying something else. Having to drop bucks for shoes sucks, but my back, knees, and legs already thank me for it.

As a long time user these are great shoes for my walking and daily out and about. With time and becoming less young I have found the need to move to wider and longer sizes which have are now available in the Brooks line. So I continue in comfort mile after mile.

Love these shoes! They are the only one's I buy for my daily morning 6 mile runs. They provide all the support, comfort for my flat feet. I'm a long time fan of these shoes and have been purchasing them for the past 10 or so years.

I have worn these men's shoes for years. They work really well for overweight women with foot problems - supernating, pronating, and fascia plantitis. My only complaint is that I wish they go back to some more blue colors, and have less white. The Zappos service, however, is excellent!

I just replaced my Brooks Beast 12 after several years of use; the new model has a narrower fit, so be sure to order accordingly.

The shoe was a great shoe. I always buy them. I have been buying them for 5 years. I like your policy. I got my shoe in 3 days. You have great customer service.

Very comfortable. Previous reviews suggested ordering these a half size larger and a size wider. I did and they fit great.

These are the best sneakers ever! I wear them 5 days a week and put on about 12000 steps a day. I've had Achilles tendinitis which took for ever to get rid of until I found the "Beast". Buying from Zappos has been great. The "Beast" runs small so I had to send the first ones back and the exchange was painless too!
