High hopes but poor fit. My wife was surprised by how heavy this jacket was. The sleeves were incredibly long for her 5'2" height and the padding of the sleeves made the style look very awkward. The hood was too small to provide enough coverage from the cold or rain. Quality was good but the fit and style just didn't come together for her so had to return.

Northface, I am petite and the new Gotham parka is better than Gotham II from last year but I've been waiting a couple of years for something similar to the Yume parka down jacket. This previous jacket was a good length for petites but it was also long enough (centered back 30-32) to cover. In addition, it had a nice covered zipper and pocket without the flashy logo (darker logo). Currently, the Gotham (with the fur hood)has these things but it is not long enough and has a flashy logo.

The plastic toggles that cinch the hood hit your chin uncomfortably when zipper is up all the way. Bad design, should be buffered with fleece. I live where it is cold, hood is not for show, I will have to remove them.

Ordered a medium according to the size assistance. Too big all over. Keeping and wearing too large. No small size available now.

I normally am a small inncoats the small on my 5'9" 140 lb self was way too small. The sleeves were too short and the body was tight. It was very unflattering which was surprising, so going up a size wouldn't help and would look way too bulky. Totally disappointed as I wanted it to work out!

The North Face Gotham parka keeps you toasty warm in cold weather. It fits true to size. This is the second one I purchased because I love the style.

This is one of my favorite winter coats to date. Nice and warm and the double zipper helps since it's longer.

Overall this wasn’t the right size I got as a return from previous purchase way to small so got my refund back for it but I loved the style just to hot for me I get to overheated so had to choose something different but the color and really nice

Perfect fit…very cozy for the winter season!

I've tried it on, and the fit is perfect, but I received it in summer, so I'm going to have to wait until cold weather to really try this lovely coat out.

Usually wear a L, but purchased an XL to wear sweaters and layers underneath.

Beautiful coat but it was too small for me. I ordered a 2xl and I'm a US size 16. It was too snug so definitely size up.

Love this coat. It’s silver and slightly metallic. The arms are long enough which is one of the things I love about The North Face. Get it; you will not regret it!

Absolutely love the color! I got the green and it looks great! Really like the fit. I'm 5'4, 130lbs, athletic built and I ordered a medium. What was extremely impressive was the turn around time! I ordered my coat Friday morning, it was at my door Saturday evening!! Very impressive Zappos!!

Fit and size were perfect. Only thing is im 5ft tall and the sleeves are an inch or two too long but thats easily fixed by rolling up the sleeve once. The material is so soft.

Love this coat! The green is such a unique color and better than the regular black we all have. Super warm and perfect length. Worth the money.

I ordered size small I’m 5’2 118lbs and it fits perfectly. Very lightweight and warm.

I used this coat for walking/generally getting around in the blistering cold Omaha winter wind/wintry mix. It was a real life-saver for early morning commutes. It does hit mid-leg for me, so wouldn't be great for biking, but it suited my needs perfectly.

Coat is as described. Love the color and fit. True to size.

Adorable coat and very warm!

I purchased this coat during the winter and I must say it’s worth every penny. It was really cold where I live and plenty days I would have to unzip the bottom half to let air in. This coat kept me extremely warm and it’s no need to layer up.

My daughter is 5’3 and around 115 lbs and the small fit her perfectly! It is warm and comfy and will be ideal for the cold winters in Columbus, OH, where she is attending college!
