Love it

I live in Boston,MA and during the winter it can be very cold! This coat is not only keeps me warm and very comfortable, but also has a special touch of style which I appreciate. It's has enough room for me to wear a sweater but also is lightweight when I put it on! This coat will compliment any figure and keep you warm on rainy cold days! Can't go wrong with this Parka!

I love this coat. its color, material , style etc.

I wear this product to commute to work. It is nice, and the best of this is that it is lightweight but yet very warm. The hood is a bit small for me that I have long hair and somtimes it falls. It does not provide a lot of coverage and I would have to wear a hat to keep myself warm.

I bought the coat in Urban Navy , the pattern in very flattering . I like the sueded flat fabric as opposed to shiny . Length is mid calf a little longer than I expected . I like the snap option with the flap that Covers the zipper seems more thought out for the money they should all have zipper and snap . The North Face badges on chest and arm are muted so I don't feel like a walking advertisement . Feels very warm I have yet to wear it in our cold buffalo weather because it's been pretty warm contrary to popular belief . The hood fits nice I will actually use it . It's not three times too big as I've had in the past . I would recommend this coat its sharp looks and feels like a quality garment . So far I love it !

Wear out in cold weather

I'm generally always cold and this jacket keeps me at a perfect tempature. By far my favorite jacket! Perfect length.

Everyday wear

Very warm, and lightweight without being bulky.

The parka is warm and comfortable. Also long so it covers my legs in these cold winter. It's a must have in these Chicago winter

I live in Wisconsin and was looking for a long, WARM coat that didn't look like I was wearing a sleeping bag. This coat fits the bill. The length is perfect and the double zipper is a convenient feature. The only thing I'd change is the hood - it could be a little bigger. However, it's not a deal breaker. For reference, I'm 5'5", 120 lbs, and I bought the XS, but I like more of a snug fit. If you like a looser fit, going up a size isn't a bad idea. Overall, this is a great winter coat that I expect to wear for years to come! You will not regret buying this product.

Length and not boxy

This is a fantastic coat and not my first one by the North Face. I bought a medium. I'm 5' 4" tall and weigh around 138lbs. The coat fits well and I love that it zips up from the bottom. It makes it easier when I sit in the car. This coat is a 550 fill and keeps me quite warm here during the cold, arctic Chicago winters. The zip pockets keep my keys safe. My only wish is that it was a bit more a-line. I have a pear shape body and with my hips being a bit wider, an a-line style would give me more room. Normally, I would wear a small, but I sized up to medium for a bit more hip room. Great coat! Don't pass it up.

This is the third Metro Parka I have purchased and keep coming back for more of the exact same thing, I can't say enough about how warm and practical this coat is!!!

I walked a mile each way to high school every day, rain or shine, even during the harsh Chicago winters. My mom got me this coat when I was a junior, because a short winter coat wasn't cutting it. I'm in college now, but looking back, I honestly wouldn't have made it through the winters without this coat. In high school, some of my friends made fun of me for my "mom coat"-but hey, at least I was warm. I've had it for three years now, and as winter approaches this year, breaking out this coat feels so good. It's like seeing an old friend. It's still just as warm and comfortable as the first day I got it. I love it, and now that I'm in college, when my friends from California are looking to buy their first coat for the upcoming winter, I don't hesitate to recommend this one.

I loved the coat, but not a good fit. Snug thru chest/rib area. I'm 5'3" and weigh 118 lbs. Sleeves were too long as well. Size small
