This bag stores a lot for its size and is durable and easy to carry!

I used it for transporting camping gear, cycling clothes and camp clothes for a 8 day cycling and camping trip. It was van supported so I didn't actually carry the bag on my bike.

Use this product for camping trips or just day trips. Very light weight and efficient.

I bought this to take carry on international flights and because it can also double as a backpack. I love it. Extremely durable and it will definitley help keep my hands free so I can help my wife with her luggage or carry my daughter when were walking.

Service was honestly amazingly fast. I'm 32 years old, maybe I'm just a big cornball but I was excited when I ordered this bag I heard so many great things. I'm going on my ten year anniversary. My wife and I haven't been anywhere, five kids, police officer, Dealing with sports and events with kids, that and money, we just could never do anything. We decided we were going to go on an eight day cruise. From the minute I ordered this bag I was looking at the time, counting the days. My bag got here in NJ surprisingly fast, I was like a kid in the candy store when it arrived. North Face is awesome. You get what you pay for. Its the little things that make one happy, for me, I love my bags. NORTH FACE, you guys are awesome. Thank you. I'm ordering another ASAP! Already planning other trips, wouldn't want any other bag.

I love this bag! I was afraid a small would be too small, but it's a very decent size bag! I recently went on a weeklong trip and this bag was great! I probably could've packed for 2 weeks! I love that you can carry as a duffel or a backpack. I just wish it came with another strap to carry easily on the shoulders. Using both straps on the shoulders is a little uncomfortable and it shifts a lot off the shoulders. But overall, I love it and would highly recommend!

Love this bag! Was not sure on to get the small or xs I went with the small and it's perfect! Plenty of room for a day or weekend trip

Great bag. Solid and roomy. Easy to carry

The bag itself looks sleek. I purchasef the full black duffel. The black doesn't present itself as one of those blacks that make anything look cheap regardless of the price. It's the type of black that hits the "cool kids" spot. The zippers didn't snag. But it was hard to get too if you had the zippers on the sides due to the flaps covering it. It wasn't an issue if the were placed in the middle though. The straps to use as a bagpack was a legit idea. It made the bag so much more convenient. When it was heavy i'd just put it on my back. Of course it was confortable. North face bags are known for being easy on your back. But when I wanted to put thing in the bag the straps were in the way. I had to loosen them to put things inside. And it felt a little weird using them to carry the bag as a shoulder strap. All the daisy chains and handles over the bag are great. I like hooking things on to them. And being able to grab the bag from any side. All in all. If you're thinking about purchasing the bag then stop thinking. Just buy it. If you don't have the dinero then go ask santa or whatever floats your boat.

My daughter went off to camp so we packed her for the week in the Base Camp Duffel- small size. The duffel held everything she needed. She was able to easily carry it like a backpack.

We bought the duffel for our pending vacation. We wanted something that is spacious and durable.

I work in the maritime industry and use these bags to pack for work. I now own the medium, large, and extra large duffels. I have packed the extra large with 4 months worth of my things and it works perfect. I use the large for my 3 week trips and use the medium for trips about a week long. These bags are fantastic and very durable. You can put them through just about everything.

Love this bag. I use it on motorcycle trips. The bag keeps my gear dry and cleans up easily. I own both the small and medium size and would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic. I tried 3 other backpack strap duffles from 3 other companies, North Face nailed it, the others did not. Design is great. Very comfortable. Looks awesome. And I am willing to bet I could drop this thing down a mountain and it would survive. It's a thing of beauty. Will be using this for years to come and if an airline ever loses it (because this thing is never going to wear out), I would buy another one in a second.

This bag will double as my carry on to Alaska and will accompany me on all camping and fishing trips while I'm there. I live in Florida so this is a great bag for a day at the beach or on the boat as well. I have the medium and large bags as well for the long camping trips. Superb quality!

The small Base Camp Duffel is one of my best travel purchases by far. This bag has accompanied me on Sahara camel rides, treks through the rainy streets of London, and all across Japan. The small is a perfect fit for the majority of airlines' carry-on specs, and I have yet to have issue with rain soaking through. Another aspect that I appreciated when backpacking through crowded streets was that the main zipper access for the bag is impossible for others to reach since it's flush against my back. I can't imagine a more durable or convenient travel bag.

Using for an extended camping vacation that requires flying to the destination (aka hauling all my gear through the airport). This bag in large is huge, very manageable and tough. Zippers are precise and unobstructed. You get what you pay for and I wholeheartedly recommend.

The bag I got was very stylish. Im very excited to use it in Europe. I have already used it for moving locations and it carries so much stuff it's ridiculous. I can fit my whole life in this bag. I like the design very much and was very happy to receive it. I was gonna go with XL but I belive large was good enough for a month worth of travel.

Took this bag on a week long bicycling trip. It held everything I needed including my sleeping bag and pad. Held up well to the rainy afternoon waiting for me to pick it up from the luggage truck, and the backpack straps were perfect for leaving my hands free to make one trip with my bike and gear.

I just took the small sized bag on its first trip and it exceeded my expectations. I was slightly worried that it would be a little too small. It ended up fitting a weeks worth of clothes + my boots and some books on the trip back. It still fit easily in the carry on compartment with room to spare. The straps are great. When it gets heavy, just throw it on your back. I take lots of short trips and go on short tours as a musician and i am so glad I got this bag. It's the perfect size and seems very durable too.

Our family has 6 base camp duffles in a variety of colors and sizes. Our first one is over 15 years old and still looks as great as the others (well loved and well travelled as good gear should be)! The smaller sizes are great for airline carry on and the backpack straps are handy- and the colors are easy to spot at baggage claim. They hold tons and keep stuff dry. We love them! This one was a gift for a college bound friend. Best bags ever!

Perfect gift for my teen son- he is excited to use if for all his adventures in the mountains from weekends for snowboarding to weekends in the summer for mountain biking. We love that is it water resistant and will keep his clothes dry.

I bought the bag as a present for my daughter who will be traveling extensively this summer between graduation and starting work. I was pleased to hear an endorsement when she opened it from my son's girl friend who has one and has used it extensively for work travel in Africa. My daughter is very pleased with it. Her backpack, gear w/clothes etc. pack nicely into it. She likes the interesting color scheme. She's commented that although not a backpack, it travels well on the shoulders when moving it about short distances.
