Just purchased this bag for my husband, as my son and I each had one. It is extremely well made and durable with plenty of room to pack for our sporting vacations; plus it has a lifetime guarantee.

Such an awesome bag (not a backpack)
I've had it for a week, I'm in love with it. So easy to spot at the baggage claim and everywhere I go. It's not to big to carry. Glad I ordered it from the store since they didn't have it in stock .
Yesterday it survived the 1st (semi) thunder in Chicago, nothing in the bag got wet

I bought it in Jerusalem, bc my original 1 that I ownED was 10 years old and I noticed that not only the wheel well was cracked [at 1 of the wheels] at the airport on the way, I also noticed when I arrived [to Tel Aviv], the seam down 1 of the sides was torn, so I had no other choice but to buy a new 1. So the 1st place I had gone to, was The North Face store at the Mamilla Mall. I needed the biggest suit case, bc I was traveling with my mom. We stayed in Jerusalem for 9 solid days, so we packed alot. We needed the room (: However, I sure do wish that it came with a storage container, bc now that we're home, before I/we go traveling again, I'd hate for it to get messy [with cob webs, mildew, etc] while being stored in the shed (no other place to put it, while living in a mobile home). It's empty sitting in the front room for now, but eventually [in time] it will need to go in the shed ): Other than that, this is truly a blessing, especially since it has a lifetime warranty < 3

Was searching high a low for a suitable piece of luggage to utilize on those long trips that I take from time to time that can both offer the capacity for it and handle the rigors of airport baggage handling. Bought this 2 months ago and don't regret the decision. Went on a trip to France and London for 12 days and the "Rolling Thunder 30" won me over in a big way when all was said and done. In fact, I'm so amazed on how well it held up, I'm considering purchasing the "Rolling Thunder 22" for my short trip needs.

As a business traveler, I travel 6-10 flights / week and this bag is perfect! Packed for a week, it fits in every overhead that Delta has with one exception CRJ-700 (but they gate check bags for those flights). Some weeks, I travel by plane, train, and on foot (walking from W57th in Manhattan to Penn Station, for example). No matter the mode of travel, the Rolling Thunder 22" performs great.
To gain the maximum use out of any duffel, I recommend getting Eagle Creek's packing cubes for internal organization. For my work travel with the Rolling Thunder 22", I use 2 large cubes and two medium cubes. This leaves me space for a pair of trail running shoes, Chaco sandals, and my dop kit bag (Nalgene TSA Travel Case). Maximize your space even more by rolling your clothes before you pack into the cubes.
Last, on those rare occasions that I check the bag, the topo map and red wheels really stand out on the luggage conveyor.

This product rolls smooth like Shaft walking down the street. You can stuff it full like Chris Farely did to buffets. More stylish than the Rocks 90s fanny pack.

I use this daily, I travel 20+ weeks a year and live out of this bag. Not much flair, just gives ya what you need! Only gripe would be for another small exterior pocket or sleeve to drop smaller items in. This is NOT a deal breaker though, bag is quality!

My daughter has one and I liked it some much that I bought one for myself. This bag is roomy, simple and tuff. The only clothing bag you need for a weekend trip or as a carry-on for flights. North Face products never disappoint. Highly recommended.

Good Bag! Lots of capacity and nice pockets for storage. A little heavy to begin with so be sure to pack light!

Perfect size. The smaller size is more of a carry-on luggage and the larger size is too humongous. This is perfect for longer trips with a checked luggage. Good quality. Bright color, easy to spot.

I bought 2 Rolling Thunders, one for me, one for my husband and couldn't be happier.
It has a lot of space, it's very practical to carry. I bought packing organizers to divide my cloths inside and have easy access to them, and it is wonderful. It fits a lot of cloths.
I used to travel with hard suitcases and they never lasted, and frequently came broken in baggage claim. The Rolling Thunder looks and feels extremely high quality, and very resistant, like most north face items are.

Limited experience thus far but the product stands oyt from others from a styling point of view.
Practical and straightforward use, handlebars are solid and mechanism hasn't jammed so far.

Absolutely love this roller!
I originally ordered the 36 but returned for this one. The size is perfect! Large yet reasonable.
I am a loyal north face roller girl the only roller luggage I will ever purchase. The quality is unmatched.
