I had the older model for 11 years with no issues. It held up great and had been all around the world more than once. I started having a problem with the extendable handle. It started sticking and would not collapse.

Such a great product. Reliable and sturdy and looks fabulous. I bought this because my boyfriend also has it and recommended it to me highly. I also have the smaller hand luggage version and love it.

This is a great duffle. Very good looking and high quality.

This bag has already proved to be one of the nicest my family has ever owned. Packed it up the moment we got it for a trip and it easily fit all of our belongings and it went everywhere with us with ease.

Great carry on piece that's well designed

I don't see any cons, it rolls great, perfect design. Great for a gift, I bought one for me, my wife loved it, then I bought 2 more for gifts.

This bag is super sturdy and durable. Great to take on long trips. Easy to transport and takes a lot of gear!

Love the product line. We have 2 of the 1st generation 30" and 3 of the 2nd gen 30". The older two are at least 15 years old and have probably seen over 2 million air miles and are still going strong, maybe a little scuffing on the corners but that is about it. Now that is value for the $$.

I have to travel for work sometimes and that has picked up in the last year or two. When I travel for work, it is a lot of gear I have to take and the details are up to 4 weeks, for these reasons I have to pack a lot heavier than I usually do. The Samsonite rolling duffel I had gave out after years of service and I had to duct tape it (MUCH duct tape) to get home. When another work detail came up I knew I needed to get something new. I basically got this because my go-to bag is a North Face Duffel, I think called the Base Camp. This is a superior product and this product seems to be of similar quality. This thing is huge, I will likely not use it much, because I don't usually pack that much, but when I need to this Rolling Thunder bag looks like it will be as reliable as my previous North Face Duffel. Not cheap but I know I won't have to worry about this for quite some time.

This is an amazing travel luggage - all the expandability of a soft luggage, but with the protection of a hardcase. The build quality is A+. My husband and I both have one in different colors!

I have it on all my trips. this is the 4th rolling thunder 22 my family has bought. everyone saw the 1st ones we got and went crazy. now my whole family is having one. kids grew old and they go on their own trips and it is a pleasure to see them trusting my judgement on a product which will NEVER let you down

I use this bag as a carry on for my clothes and other personal items while having the 30" for my work equipment. These are by far the best bags I have ever used. I travel all over the world for my job and these bags can take the work

Great suitcase! Feels very sturdy and durable, especially the wheels which are more heavy-duty than ones i'm used to on luggage. Only thing is they're only bi-directional, not like the ones u can move in all directions when there's 4 wheels but that's not a big deal. I feel like they will last much longer. The red color helps the suitcase to pop too. Easy to extend and push back in the handle with just one hand.

This is a big, stylish bag with plenty of room for storage. The wheels glide very well and the color makes the bag identifiable.

As someone in the military, I'm always looking for a tough durable luggage that can withstand luggage bins on mil planes! This one does great so far. It's extremely spacious, I'll only need the one bag with this guy! Hopefully the last one I'll buy for a long time!

Needed something to fit in the over head bin that was rugged enough to last 20+ trips per year, functional and looked cool. This was the right bag. It seems to be built like a tank and the material feels almost bullet proof. The wheels are sturdy and again, extremely well built. The interior is wide open - I prefer this and it is something I spent a ton of time trying to find. It allows me to use the packing space how I see fit. I've had numerous bags with poorly designed extra space/storage compartments that seem like a good idea, but turn out to be useless. The handle is well built, sturdy and strong - because of this it can be a little tough to raise and lower and times. Zippers are heavy duty and feel extremely strong. I am very happy with this bag and while it is a little more on the expensive side - I would purchase it all over again.
