Decent boot. I tried on 7 boots (Keen #1, this one #2). This was a bit bulkier than the Keen, plus the Keen had a zipper for easy on/off. Otherwise I probably would have purchased this one.
I'd also recommend:

Now I have one reason to not be able to wait for the snow! Loved this boot, and look forward to trying it out in the elements. Even with the fuzzy interior, my size 12 boot fit perfectly. I will need to add a separate arch support inside, as there is very little, but overall a great boot. So glad I found this!

Really loved these, and would keep them but I think I would get too warm in them. I wear thick socks and usually have hot feet. These were just too stuffed to begin with.

I generally wear a size 10 in a wide, so I went up to 10 1/2 in these since they are medium width. They feel like a comfortable size 10W. I can wear average thickness socks easily, but the super thick woolen socks may create a snug fit for me. I got the Shale/Dark Raspberry-- which is just an allover gray with a dark pink logo on the tongue in front. These boots are surprisingly lighter weight then expected. I've been wearing a pair of Timberland Womens Mt. Hope Mid boots for the past several winters (which are great looking, nice quality & warm but have always been too narrow, even with them being labeled wide!)...but those Timberlands are heavier in comparison. These Columbias are my first ever, they are really cute and freakishly warm. I do have a fuller, muscular calf then average, but these look and feel quite nice on them. I can tuck jeans with ease into them, or wear leggings.

I am disappointed that these didn't fit. They are a half size too small, and while I can exchange them easily (thanks to the wonderful Zappos service!), they didn't have enough arch support for me. But they are lightweight, clearly warm, and good looking so I'd recommend at least trying them.

I am so happy that I purchased these boots! I normally wear an 8 1/2. That is the size I ordered originally but then I had to return them and get a 9. They fit perfectly now. In addition, the process of returning my boots and getting the correct size through zappos was absolutely stress-free and convenient. I love this company and love these boots! They are warm, comfortable and practical.

These are okay, a solid B+ overall. I had been searching a long time...for something warm yet stylish. They are warm and comfortable but not the cutest things ever really.. and not as attractive as they appear on screen. They are WideE, very clunky and masculine-looking from the front. That little trim piece around the toe on the top is pretty evident in person and looks a bit odd as well. (I got the black ones.) The trim around the top is only about an inch thick and the shape dips down in back so you cannot fold these boots down to wear cuffed. I wear an 8 or 8.5 shoe, I normally like a 9 boot and that's what I got, but they are a tad roomy I think I would have preferred an 8.5 if they came in that size. I'd say they run true to your normal shoe size. I feel like I'll probably keep these for the price and we have snow here now I need something...but sadly I'm sure I'll be on the hunt again next year, as these are not going to satisfy my want for the perfect cute winter boot.

These are a nice-looking boot. They are probably more than I need in our moderate coastal California climate near San Francisco. They are really wide and require a super-thick sock, and when you walk in them they kind of bend in a weird way. I'd give them a 3.5/5 stars, but not a 4. I think they'd be great (4 or 5 stars) in snowy conditions like Lake Tahoe in winter.

Felt too bulky on my feet. Nice materials. Expect adequate warmth but will return secondary to poor fit for me.

I ordered my normal size 9.5M and there was more than enough room with thick socks. I spent a couple of hours walking through snow and found my feet were not as warm as they should have been in New England temperatures. I have since added Yaktrax Thermal Insoles which have helped. With the insoles, the boots were tight but have since loosened to conform to my feet. I walked through a slushy parking lot into a building with tiled floors. The boots were extremely slippery on the tile (even after wiping them across the entry mat). I had to "glide" on the tile until the soles dried. I have not tested them on ice but do not expect they would do well unless salt or snow was on top of the ice.

These are really cute and very lightweight which is a bonus. I also love how easy they are to slip on and pull the laces up tight which makes them perfect for errands and quick trips outside. ButI bought these to go out in the snow and while they are waterproof, they are NOT warm. The tops of my feet freeze! I went back to my Sorel boots. Bummer, I was looking for another kind with similar warmth.

I chose the Ice Maiden II boots because the reviews said they were warm and I like the appearance. I am happy with the appearance, very pretty, but dissatisfied with the warmth. I have them on my feet as I write this review. It is 68 degrees in my house, 32 degrees outside. My feet are freezing!. The only other issue I have is the insole is thin and flat. When I walk, it feels like the boots are separating beneath the arch in each foot, with every step. I put another insole in that has arch support and is thicker. That fixed the problem and made the boot more comfortable.

These boots are absolutely adorable! Ordering up 1/2 size was good advise. The only problem, there is no arch support. Moderate support would be acceptable, I don't need much. I'd need to purchase insoles and for a product in this price range and quality, I'll return them instead.

I thought the fit was perfect and they looked great ... as in the pics ... I did return them because I'm usually buy a higher end boot with more support and I under-spent and felt the difference in comfort ... I have another pair of Columbia boots that are great but a half size too small.

These boots are cute and not too clunky when I walk. However, the wide width is not all that wide if I want to wear thick socks. Plus they don't offer a 1/2 size larger for those of us with size 11 feet. So sadly I will be returning these. Disappointed that Columbia caters more to the smaller-footed women out there. You ladies enjoy your cute boots!

Disappointed in the quality of these boots given it’s brand. These boots look and feel cheap. Columbia, you can do better than this!

footbed felt fine but the fasteners were uncomfortable; not enough cushioning separating them from my leg?

I got these boots online, and loved them - for the first winter. They were what I wanted, kept my feet warm, and dry feet and provided good traction wile I walked the dog. I felt then that I got my money's worth, and congratulated myself on finding a good deal. However, after that first winter, they started leaking even when I just walked over lawns that were soft with melted snow, not visibly wet. And also, they show signs of wear on the heels, and I just walk on concrete paths or sidewalks. It was more wear and tear than I expected to see in a short time. I must admit I am slightly disappointed in them -- I bought them since they were Columbia boots. Even though they came at an affordable price, I expected them to last longer than did.
