ALL of the other reviews are spot on.......these boots are SUPER, right out of the box. One difference though, from about half of the other reviews.....the size. I think half or more of the others, said you need to go up a 1/2 size for a good fit with a thick sock. That wasn't the case with me. My regular size was fine with a thermal sock and I even still have a bit of room. I haven't worn them in the snow and cold yet, but will very soon. However, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fit and style. They feel wonderful on my feet.

The red color which was my first choice was unfortunately out of stock so I ordered the black as well as the Columbia Mid Minx III in red. I got both in my size —- 5.5. Surprisingly, the Mid Minx was tight and small while the Ice Maiden fit perfectly even though they were the same size. So it was no contest. I picked the Ice Maiden. I like that it feels good and comfortable right from the start. Have yet to test it in snow but based on the many positive reviews, I have a feeling it will be great!

These are cute, comfortable, and toasty! I got my regular size since I don't plan to wear extra thick socks with them and the fit is perfect.

I bought half size bigger considering that I wound need to wear wool socks and I should not have gone 1/2 Size up. It is big now . Would be changing it for the true side

I wear a 9.5 or 10 and I ordered both to try. With thick wool socks I chose the 10. I need a wide and they didn’t offer it but the size 10 worked out great with thick socks. They are warm and comfortable and really cute!

These boots are great! The look nice, are warm but lightweight, and easily adjust to fit over any pants. They are easy on, easy off because the laces slide well through the eyes. There is plenty of toe room without a clunky look. I took one star off for comfort because they have minimal arch support. However, the insole is removable, so once I subbed in an orthotic, they are all around fantastic boots!

I have been looking for a pair of boots for 4 years. Nothing worked- either uncomfortable, ugly, not waterproof, or too expensive. These books are PERFECT! Right out of the box I walked 2 1/2 miles without any issues and still comfortable. What are you waiting for?! Just click BUY!!!

Love these boots! My feet are warm, though the boots are not quite as waterproof as I’d hoped. They’re super light, easy to put on and look great. I’d highly recommend, as long as you’re not jumping in puddles on a regular basis..

Love these boots! Super comfy and VERY warm. Walked 4.5 miles on wintry trail; no pain or discomfort and feet were toasty warm. Today is -2, and my feet feel great!

I mistakenly didn't pre-treat these because we were in the middle of a terrible Chicago slush-fest so the black exterior color faded substantially from the salt and snow. Also, they were not absolutely waterproof but considering the wear and tear they took, I was still impressed.

Love these boots - true to size and does not hurt my one foot, which has a bunion. Very comfortable and can wear medium weight sock with no problem.

This boot felt warm and fit my wide, bunion feet ok but I didn't like the lack of arch support it had. It was a deal breaker for me as I walk a lot and need the support. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 but got the size 8 for extra room and it was ok with thicker socks or if I laced them tighter. I never wore them outside to really try them out knowing that I would be returning them for something with more support.

I had a pair of LL Bean boots for 10 years that I loved until one day I noticed the rubber separating from the upper. These Columbia's had a bunch of great reviews and were on sale to boot (pun intended)! I ordered a size up based on the reviews and haven't regretted the purchase for a second. I walk my dog a couple of miles a day on trails through the woods and these keep my feet warm and comfortable. I've even worn them out and about which I never did with my last pair. I'm very happy with this purchase.

LOVE this boot. Have never been able to find a comfortable boot for my size 12 foot. Narrow heel, wide forefoot, high arch. This one just feels like a dream and is incredibly cute. I have not worn it in the snow (we don't have alot in TN but when we do, my cute rubber rain boots don't cut it. These are so cute and actually make my foot look smaller that I'm thinking about ordering another pair and checking out other Columbia shoes. This is the cutest casual boot I've seen that looks really functional and easy, easy, easy to get on!

The boots are warm and fit great! They're cute and no more clunky than regular snow or hiking boots. I normally wear a 10 or 10.5, and I got an 11 so I'd have room for thick socks. I've worn them in cold rain but no snow yet. I'm confident they'll keep my feet warm in a New England winter.

I wear size 7½ but after reading comments and reviews, I ordered these boots in size 8. They are super comfortable with thicker socks right out of the box! We have only had one snowfall so far this season in Chicago but they kept my feet warm and dry during a 30 minute walk with my dog. They are a very cute style with skinny jeans so I am really happy with this purchase.

I am very happy with these boots! I normally wear a size 8 but ordered an 8 1/2 for thick sock and I have a very wide foot, these are a perfect fit and very warm!

I am very pleased with the boots. They are well made, comfortable and lightweight. I chose lace up boots for a more custom fit. After reading other comments I also ordered a half size up and am glad that I did so. They are roomy enough for heavier socks, but still fit comfortably with regular socks. This was my first Zappos order and everything went smoothly and I received my order in a matter of days. I would recommend these boots.

These are lightweight and comfortable, and as an added bonus, they are quite cute! I usually wear a 10 and ordered a 10 1/2 after reading the reviews, I am glad I did because the 10 1/2 is perfect. The height and shape of these perfectly accommodates my large calves, as well. I think these look nicer than the slip-on version without the laces, but I suppose if you were going to wear pants over them, the one without laces would be fine. I want to show them off so will wear them with pants that can go inside the boot, plenty of room for that, nice loose (and also adjustable) top. Don't hesitate, these boots look really nice and are well insulated for the cold months ahead! Nice sticky treads, too!

This is my second pair of these. That's how much I love them. This time I went up a half size. They are a tad narrow and will have to get them stretched out....not your fault. The wide in this same size is way too big.

I have two other pair of the same boot that fits well with thin and medium socks. But my feet are still cold so I ordered the same boot but in wide. It is narrower than the medium from a few years ago. Much narrower so I can’t even wear them with even thin socks.

First, I am a solid 8 in pretty much any boot and had to get an 8.5 in these. I like these boots for the most part. They are lightweight and easy to slip on and off, even when laced up. My only gripe is their lack of grip! If there's any ice at all, these boots slide. Many times I was helpless to walk in these up the slight slope on our sidewalk after it was iced over when my husband had no problem in his boots. They are warm and hold up well in Minnesota winter. My toes do get cold if the snow is deep, however.

Nice and warm, just the right amount of extra room if needed for thicker socks. A little Arch support needed for me with a minimal soft insole. I just didn’t love the lacing. I prefer a slip on. I’m going to look at more Columbia boots and shoes because the quality looks good.

These are warm and waterproof - they've been through most of a winter of snow and slush now - but I was hoping for a side zipper. More of a problem, though, is that the side supports on the outside of the feet hit me in the ankles. I thought a couple of months of wearing them would break them in, but it's still a problem.
