Bought the wide and was tight. I barely have a wide foot, but wanted to make sure I had sock room. Returned.

Ordered a wide but toe box was too small. It definitely did not feel like a wide boot.

Materials used in construction are very good, but fit is highly questionable. Rhe advice to order one's regular shoe size is incorrect. Yes, they will fit "snugly instead of being sloppy, but a regular shoe size is too short and too snug (narrow) - no room for warm socks. Reviews consistently say they don't keep the front half of the foot warm. What good are stylish winter boots if they don't keep you warm? I am returning them, which is a huge disappointment.

this is the worst boot I ever purchased...They have no cushion or arch in them...stay away if you have bad feet, neuropathy and older than a teenager...

The wide is way to narrow and not much insulation inside boot.

Sizing wayyyyy off! I ordered size 7W and could not get foot in boot without pushing it on and foot hurt from boot being so narrow.

I really wanted to like these but these boots were just plain uncomfortable, even after I traded in my normal size 11 to try a size 12 - neither fit and both were uncomfortable. The toe box was a snugger-than-comfortable fit, and the overall size felt a full size too small. I couldn't even tell a difference between the size 11 and size 12 pairs. And once I stood and walked around on these boots (in both sizes) the sole felt hard, not cushioned at all and I knew by the time I spent more than a half hour in these boots my knees would be aching me. Nice style, but two thumbs down for fit and comfort.

Did not keep my feet warm at 30 degrees. I wanted to love these. They are very cute. However my feet were freezing, even with heat keeping socks on.

These boots were advertised as very warm as well as waterproof. They are waterproof, but they are not especially warm. I was out walking in the snow, the temperature was 20 degrees F, I was actively moving around and my feet got cold in them. My $25 Costco Uggs knockoffs are much warmer and more comfortable, just not waterproof. I am disappointed with Ice Maiden II boots.

These are attractive snow boots, but they are terribly uncomfortable. There isn't any real padding, and it feels like you are walking on hard plastic. I bought a wide width, but the boots were rubbing the pinky toe of my smaller foot! The boot also has a hard structure at the ankle that is very uncomfortable. I was very disappointed with the quality of the Columbia Ice Maiden II. I recommend buying a higher quality snow boot.

I work outside and was looking for a boot to keep my feet warm. I read the reviews and everyone of them stated this was a great boot kept they feet warm and they had no problems, well I disagree here in Chicago today the weather was in the single digits and my feet froze. I'm not happy with the results of your product.

I have owned two prior versions of this same boot. The first lasted me a few years and were great for hiking and walking my dog in deep snow-they were so comfortable and light, I'd wear them constantly even in fall and late spring with no snow. I lost the second pair in a move but those were equally as good. Columbia changed something with this pair. They are warm and waterproof but extremely uncomfortable. I've worn them probably 10 times and this has not improved. It's like they took out some cushioning. My feet actually hurt after about 20 minutes in these, and I do not have foot problems at all. These also feel a bit heavier than the last two pairs I owned. I am disappointed in this purchase. at the price point the prior versions were awesome, which is why I bought them again without a second thought. I hope Columbia figures out the issue and goes back to what they did with the prior version. I gave two stars because they were warm enough and waterproof in deep snow.

I bought this last winter in anticipation of moving to Oregon and loved them through the late winter and spring. Unfortunately when I put them on after the first snow this fall I found my feet soaked. The rubber on both heels has worn through leaving thin flaps peeling up and letting in all the water on my walk. They did get a lot of use in the months I was using them (hiking trails, etc.), but less than six months of use for a pair of shoes is very disappointing. They might be fine for light or occasional use, but these aren't real boots and don't last.

These fit a little snug so I ordered an extra half size up to fit my hiking socks. They were very comfortable on my Iceland trip where we hiked almost 8 miles a day. They are rated -25f or something and I beg to differ! My feet were FREEZING to the point where I had to put my hand warmers in my boots to keep my toes warm. These are not as warm as Columbia says, not in 10 degree weather!!!!

I returned these. They were cute for snow boots and had decent reviews. I have high arches. With my hand I could feel a small arch support but it didn't come close to touching the arches in my feet. I read the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size up but would definitely need a full size larger than my normal 8.5 shoe size. There is zero padding on the bottom so they are quite hard and not very comfortable. I also wore them in the house for about 15 minutes to determine if I wanted to exchange for a larger size or return them. My feet didn't even get a little too warm so I'm not sure how they'd possibly keep feet warm in freezing temperatures. I bought Baffin Chloe's instead. They were more expensive but very well worth the money, some arch support, a soft comfortable foot bed and super warm.

These boots look fine but are not as “cold weather worthy” as I thought they would be, nor do they provide an arch support that would make them more comfortable. Adding an orthotic would only make the boot too snug which, as we all know, makes your feet get cold quickly. I used them while shoveling my driveway and my toes got so cold they started to cramp. Outside temperature was 31-34. These are good for running to the store, but for working outside, guess I’ll have to get some warmer boots!

Too much room for my narrow feet. Also a little high on the leg for my liking. Returning and trying the Sorel Out and About boot

These weren’t the shoes I ordered. Instead of the Ice Maiden that laces up, the shoes I received were the slip ins. They were too wide even with thick socks. I called Zappos, & was told the lace up ones were no longer in stock. I’ve been ordering shoes from Zappos for years & have never had this problem before. Since we fly to VT on Monday, there was no time to have other styles shipped. I’ll be keeping the Keen Hoodoo short boots, which was the other pair I ordered. I like the height & furry lining of the Ice Maiden boots, but they slip up & down when I walk, & have NO support for your foot in comparison to the Keens.
