I live in Northeastern Ohio and travel for work all over the country. Was looking for a casual short boot that would easy to pack, go great with jeans, yet keep my feet truly warm for walking cities daily. This boot has met these qualities. I did not think that they ran small. I am a true 7 and these fit perfectly. I feel like I could run in these. Warmth and the feel of a tennis shoe? Doesn't get better than that to me. You nailed this one, Columbia. And truth be told, I'm usually a North Face girl. I will be recommending to friends.

First of all, I would like to mention that I have wide feet and thicker ankles, so buying boots that are comfortable can be frustrating. I love how these boots fit me. I live north of the cities and will be riding the light rail to work into the cities daily. I wanted a light weight boot that was warm and water proof. Best of all, they are not clunky to walk in. I am sure I will enjoy walking in these as I transfer from trains and walk through the sky ways. As far as having strong arch supports, they do not. For me, it's not a big deal, but if it is for you. You may either want to try them on before you purchase them to see if they will meet your needs or buy a different Columbian style of boot. I am thrilled with these boots and have never been this happy or satisfied when buying boots.

I haven't actually worn these boots in snow or freezing temperatures yet, but they feel super warm and are very comfortable. After reading some other reviews I decided to order half a size up. That was perfect; I can comfortably wear my thickest socks with them, and the boots don't feel too tight or too bulky. Haven't worn them much yet to be honest, but I'm really happy with the feel and quality and think I'll be getting a lot of use out of them. Pretty excited for some cold weather to really test them out.

I have a wide foot and am always nervous about ordering shoes without trying on. These fit perfectly and are so comfortable! I can wear them all day and do various levels of activity outside and still be comfortable. My feet do get a little cold if they don't completely dry between wears but otherwise they are great!

A little wide on the fit & not as fashionable as I would have wanted but very light on the feet. Will be my go to boot in the snowy weather for running errands.

Took these puppies snowshoeing, feet stayed warm and dry. A little bit of slippage, but thicker socks would have helped that. Have also done some walking in PNW rain and again, feet have stayed dry. I went a half size up (I am usually 9.5) and definitely can wear a thick pair of socks in them, so I guess it's kind of hit-or-miss on sizing, as most reviews state these run quite small. Comfy, stylish, and functional.

I really enjoyed this pair! I wore it everyday for the past 2 winters, however, this resulted in the color fading from black to a slightly ugly dark-green.

If you order this boot you'll love it if your needing a very warm outdoor hiking boot. 100% waterproof and very comfortable. Definitely take note that this boot runs at least 1 to 1.5 size smaller than normal.
