Cute, extremely comfortable and super cozy. Only downside (if it's what you need) is no traction. Sole is flexible not hard which makes for great wearing while walking.

I love these boots and had excellent service from Zappos when I had to return/exchange for a larger size twice - I ended up a full size larger than normal. The boots are super comfortable and totally flat which I love, and they keep my feet warmer than any other shoes or boots that I have ever owned.

Wanted a light weight, warm comfortable boot for walking alongside county roads in the Colorado Mountains - this boot works. I normally wear a 7.5 in a street shoe, an 8 in a running shoe, and got these in 8.5 to make sure they would fit with heavy socks. Plenty of toe wiggle room and comfortable to wear. Like the aggressive sole tread for traction on slippery snowy roads.

Love these boots. They fit great and feel like slippers. Warm, waterproof and removable footbed for my orthotics. Hope to reorder if still in stock.

These boots are everything that I thought they would be - except a little too short at the toe. All the insulation I am thinking. So I am returning them for half a size larger!

I really like that these are just short little ankle type boots. I will wear them in and out to work so as to not wreck my nice ankle booties. These are so cute with the pebble fabric, I will probably wear them in the office sometimes to keep my feet warm. They are super easy to get on and off. I ordered half a size larger than regular because I might want to wear socks when it is really cold. Otherwise they are a fine fit without socks as well. These are great boots for the price. I will also wear them to and from the gym. I love these!

Wow! I love these boots! I was qualified for free overnight shipping as well so that was so awesome because I received them today and it's turning rainy and cold. So thanks Zappos!! I took the advice of other reviewers and went with a half size up. I usually order a 5 or 6 in Bear Paws depending on style, and other boots usually I have to order a 5 because they run big. I got a 5.5 in these boots and they are perfect! Measure your feet! You can find a measurement guide on the Columbia website. Usually a 5.5 is 22.5. I am 4'11 and flux between 107-110lbs. So finding boots/shoes can be difficult because my feet are small. You really don't need thick socks with these boots. I am wearing some regular no show Puma socks and I'm good. They are super cute with leggings or jeggings. I bought the brown tweed and they will go with many outfits. I might purchase in black too. They have good grip on the bottom and they are not bulky. These are supposed to hold up in -25 degree weather which will be great for the cold South Dakota winter which can be brutal at times.

Wow. This shoe feels like a bedroom shoe with memory foam soles. I've been on a bad run and had to return several pair of shoes for poor fit, uncomfortable, first one thing, then the other. But here, I absolutely cannot imagine a better feeling shoe. This is my first pair of Columbia shoes but my goodness! It won't be my last. I've only worn them out in the weather once. Rain, and I was able to break in these by getting in muddy rain, too. Not a problem. I wear an 8 1/2 Wide which is nearly impossible to find sometimes so I got these in a 9 medium, They're a bit long (which is expected since I got a half size too long) but they are plenty wide for my wide foot - they are great for wearing thick socks with but I doubt I'd "need" to, these are very warm, very warm! Cozy is the word that comes to mind. If you're looking for warmth, this is the shoe. If you're looking for EXTREME comfort: THIS is the shoe! (ps-it's getting cold and I generally wear a bedroom slipper around the house, now I'm wearing these shoes. They really are that comfortable!)

I got the shale/dark raspberry and was relieved that the only raspberry on the boot was the small Columbia emblem - I just couldn't tell for sure with the on-line pic and description. These boots are so super cute! They seem like they will be very comfortable but I don't feel qualified to say for sure just yet since I haven't worn them anywhere other than in the house - and that was really just to try them on and check 'em out a little bit. Hence, I also have no idea regarding how waterproof they are (or aren't). They seem like they will be quite cozy too, but, again, ditto the above. I normally wear a 7 1/2, but I did opt for the 8's since there seemed to be very little difference and I'd rather have slightly roomier than questionable roominess (which is how the 7 1/2's felt). My only dissatisfaction is with a slight (but easily noticeable with any fairly close-up inspection) irregularity in the seam on what I believe is called the toe box - it is at least 1/4" higher on one of the boots than it is on the other, so basically they just aren't 'perfect' - but I really don't think anyone is going to notice it. Other than that, the boots seem to be pretty well constructed. I am very happy with my purchase so far!

I got these boots for when it is cold outside with generally dry weather (no snow to walk through) as my feet get cold very easily. The only problem was that I received the boots with one insole missing. As I ordered in the spring of 2015, this was the last pair available in my size and I was not able to exchange. Zappos' customer service was amazing, I just wish that I had the other insole as I have not been able to find comparable insoles to use.

This Columbia boot is perfect for me - bought a pair in red last winter and used them right out of the box to head out and shovel a path on the driveway through deep, fresh snow - what I noticed was 1) how warm they are, 2) that there's ample room to tuck in jean bottoms and 3) there is absolutely no slippage, zero, nada, something any of us would appreciate trudging through snow to do whatever. I'm getting a second pair in the black/pebble check just because...love 'em.

Great boots! I love how warm they are. Ideal for walking in slippery/icy conditions, the traction on the bottom is awesome! I am normally an 11.5/12 depending on the shoe brand. I went with the 12 and at first I thought they were a little snug but as I wore them around and broke them in they fit perfect.

I love these boots! Got the red which is really pretty with two-tone laces. They are warm and super comfy with some kind of memory foam insole! I wear a size six and have a narrow foot and they fit perfectly. I could see how some might want to order a size up, especially if you want to wear warm socks, but they're not needed; shoe is quite warm. Columbia may be my new favorite shoe brand.

These boots are great! They are WARM (wore them to a Cleveland Brown's game-hence the tan/brown color I chose). They are oh so soft and roomy - even with two pair of unnecessary socks inside, and very very comfy. Looking to purchase another pair, this time in blue.

I love these little boots. I never lived anywhere I could justify really warm boots before so last year after I moved I was in for a shock. I don't need them for sports and they are perfect for running errands, etc. They are warm and so comfy. I wore them around the house for a few days and I was almost disappointed to have to wear them outside they made such great slippers. After reading the reviews I did go up half a size. The fit great is good with thin or med thickness socks and even without socks. I like that the laces make them so adjustable. Due to an accident one of my calves is about half the size of the other and these allowed me to get the thinner leg tight enough that they didn't feel like I needed to stuff it full. It does pronate the foot a little, but for me that is okay because I tend to walk on the outside of my shoes. They grip very well. I wore them on ice and even with my cane I felt as stable as I do on dry ground. I just wish I had also bought the taller ones when they were available in my size. I say go for these, you won't be sorry.

I LOVE these boots! Everyone else must love them too, because it was not easy to locate my size in black, but fortunately Zappos came through. They are soft yet supportive inside, super warm (that Omni Heat feature that reflects your heat back into the boots is no joke!), and the sole really grips slippery and uneven snowy ground. I do agree that they run small. I normally wear an 8.5 and after trying a couple of sizes, a 9 feels the best, allowing for socks of normal thickness inside. I haven't gotten them wet yet but it says they're water resistant and I have no reason to believe otherwise. Winter in Ohio may just be bearable now!

These boots are the most comfortable and warm I have ever had. I could wear them all day long. Great for working, walking the dogs or running errands. I bought a second pair just to have a back up. In my case they were true to size. You will not regret these.

I bought these to wear on a trip to Germany for NYE. I wore these boots everyday and my feet stayed warm and dry the entire trip, even the day that is rained for the entire day. I bought a half size up just to be safe knowing that after walking around my feet tend to swell a bit and I didn't want to have to worry about pinching. Never had any discomfort or fatigue, it felt like I was wearing clouds on my feet. Easy on and off, highly recommend.
