These shoes needed no "break-in time. Comfortable the beginning. I have high arch so needed to add my orthotics. Light weight

It is very comfortable and looks great. The combination of different shades of gray and purple is amazing. Wonderful cost-benefit!

Nothing feels better than putting on a new pair of hiking shoes. I love these! I am always looking for hiking shoes that have purple in them. These are so cute, comfortable, and breathable. They are a great addition to my Columbia collection. I look forward to many hikes in them!

These shoes look good and they're comfortable. The only slight negative is thar the slick shoelaces mean I have to double tie them or they come untied fairly easily.

The shoes are stylish, comfortable, and sturdy. Exactly what I was hoping for a trip out west to check out a few National Parks.

I bought this shoe on sale and I'm very pleased. No break-in period needed; I just exchanged the insole for my custom orthodic and off I went. Did a 3-mile hike on the first day with no issues, and subsequent hikes on the following days. I wish the laces were longer, but it's not a show-stopper.
The shoe looks good too! Good purchase.

I first purchased this shoe in my normal size, 8.5. They felt tight and my heel was rubbing on the back which I knew would cause blisters if I actually went hiking in them like I was planning. So I returned them and purchased a size 9 and they fit great. No blisters. Love this shoe.

Shoes made me feel they are part of my feet, I usually have difficulties to buy this type of shoes, this is not shallow, just nice for my thicker feet. Bottom sole also fits well, not squeezing my feet.

I LOVE these shoes, they are sleek and nice looking at an affordable price. They are breathable and have excellent traction. I have compensated for the lack of cushioning by using an ortho insert which I generally have to wear in shoes other than runners which are usually more padded but , alas, "clunky" and thereby not really that good looking. We are going on an 8 week trip to Europe and will be doing a lot of hiking. These shoes fit the bill for this trip.I went a size up as they fit a bit small and the extra sizing also allowed for a gel insert with arch support as this shoe does not have too much of that.

I work outdoors and bought these shoes for that. Great stability and a lot of support, feel just like regular hiking boots only low-cut. There isn't a lot of cushioning but that doesn't bother me too much. I wear a 9.5 in most tennis shoes and that size fit just fine in these.

These were the first pair of hiking shoes I've ever bought and I've already stopped looking anywhere else. They're exactly what I've been looking for, comfy and great quality. I plan on traveling all over the world and these are going to be my best friend while doing so! Plus they look super cute with anything.

I'm a 7 in all shoes and normally a 7.5 in boots (for socks). I bought these in a 7 and I have plenty of room for a hiking sock. I have been using these as my everyday work shoe and love them! The soles absorb impact really well and the body of the shoe has a nice amount of cushion. The laces are nice a sturdy and the gray color looks really nice.

From hiking the Arches in Utah to hiking 12.2 miles down my Fuji, these shoes stay firm. No slipping which is very important when you hike on wet rocks and sandy trails.

Wore these shoes - 10 day hiking trip through Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon. Breathable and light weight. Toe box is roomy even after several hours of hiking in the heat and your feet has swollen. Bought them at full price and worth every penny.

I wanted to try an alternative hiking shoe to Merrell Moabs which tend to be heavy and expensive. I've worn out several pair of those. These Columbias are just as sturdy but lighter weight, which I like. I have only used these on my suburban walking path so far but I'm pretty sure they will be good on hiking trails as well.

These shoes fit true to size for me and are very comfortable. There was no break in time. Plenty of room for my toes. My feet tend to swell up during the day and this shoe worked out fine. I recommend without reservation!!

I really enjoy these shoes already. They fit well, if a little narrow in the toe bed, and didn't give me any foot or blister issues even when brand new. I am definitely a fan. :D

I love these! I work in law enforcement as a crime scene technician and my agency does not provide uniforms so we're left to our own devices. I needed a breathable, more sneaker-like shoe for summer in the desert than my Merrell hiking boots and these seemed a good fit. I love them! I wear a 7.5/8 and ordered a 7.5. They are still a little large even after wearing my well-cushioned hiking socks with them. That said, they're so comfortable! The breathability in the mesh is fantastic. I love these. The only single complaint I have is the height of the heel part. It stabbed my Achilles area severely the first week or two I wore them. Never got a blister, but it did really hurt. I think I wore them so they don't bend inward now, so that's gone. But be warned for initial wearing.

I love these hiking shoes! I purchased them two weeks before my planned hike to make sure I had time to brake them in and they have been comfy from day 1. They are exactly what I was looking for. I wear a size 7 most of the time so that's the size I purchased. They fit like there were made for my feet!
