Bought these for my wife after she experienced chilly legs on snowboarding trip in -6C to -10C/below 20F with the Rho LT bottoms while combined with with lightly insulated knicker mid-layer and non insulated 3L shell pant. She loved the Rho AR bottoms when used in same layering system above while snowboarding in frigid conditions in Banff.

When I tried this on back in September, my body couldn't handle it. But on Saturday, it was cold enough ~2 C so we went to Arcteryx. The pants were beautiful. So comfortable that I hardly noticed it. When wearing it outside, I didn't feel the cold any more, but my legs could still breathe. Inside the car, it was just cozy. Wearing it to do Tai Chi, I hardly noticed the pants because they are so soft and comfortable, and they accommodated all my movements. Inside my apartment, it was not so warm that I have to change but I do change out of them because I didn't want to ruin it with casual wearing around my home. Today, it is snowing and I am so glad I bought this!!

Absolutely awesome. With my wonderful warm zipper top, I am hugged in warmth. It is a great look!!!

I got these last fall just in time for winter. I put them on underneath my pants when it's cold out or if I'm going out for prolonged periods of time in the winter. On weekends I'll use them as morning house pants. These are very warm very surprising for their thickness. (lack of) The next to skin is very soft and comfortable.

Fits true to size, lightweight but incredibly warm. Used them for a season in the rockies and they were fantastic!

Was out snowshoeing in -12c (w/c -19c) with Arc'teryx gore windstopper pants over these and was toasty warm.. testing them out to climb Kilimanjaro in July

I have tried several higher end thermals to stand up to the wind chill of the Northwest Territories during our long cold winters. I just received these and I know after one patrol they will keep me warm under my patrol pants during times that I am outside, concentrating of situations at hand, and not have to worry about freezing my legs. Because they are also breathable, I am not in a continuous cycle of sweating in the car, freezing outside. I am going to recommend these to my shift partners!- The real test will be if we have another -52 wind chill this winter. I will let you know!

Like most of my Ar'Teryx gear, I use this for a lot. I wear it as a base layer when skiing, but also as an outer layer when cross country skiing and winter hiking. This tight has a lot of uses. I even break them out for extreme snowblowing days. Unlike other reviewers, I haven't had any problems with pilling. I use mine at least twice a week in winter and have had them for several years. (perhaps it's the newer ones pilling?). I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

I tend to have cold legs with joint pain in the winder, especially in the PNW where winter is chilly and wet. Luckily I found this. It is super warm, lightweight and comfortable. I can not enjoy the weather outside without. It fit a little loose, so wearing it under a regular pants can look bulky. I just wear it as a legging for city activities.

i am 5'2", 108lbs and the xs fits perfect! they are warm, soft and stretch very well for running and playing ultimate. i even wear them in my apt and they're amazing! i wish the women's RHO AR top came in less bright colors like a deep blue/green/purple, i would then buy it ASAP. i always have to buy black b/c women's colors are usually too bright for me.

Very warm, comfortable and breathable with Arc'teryx quality and detail! The Rho AR's are the best base layer I own; pretty hard not to like them.

Rho AR Bottom Women's is perfect. It keeps me warm and feel like air.

Extremely warm - to the extent that I would not wear them unless it was at or below zero degrees C as I would overheat. They are perfect for Scottish winter walking and great in combination with Beta AR pants. Typical Arc'Teryx high quality build and design. I bought Large - I am 6'2" and a 36" waist and they are if anything a bit loose fitting, albeit very comfortable, so as per other reviews you might want to consider purchasing a size smaller especially if you are borderline on sizes.

Wenn ich abends beim Zelten das Lager aufschlage, ist der erste, unvermeidliche Schritt bei kaltem Wetter, die verschwitzte Unterwsche gegen eine Lage Powerstretch zu wechseln. Je nach Bedarf gibt es dann Isolationslagen drber, aber die Rho AR-Klamotten behalte ich meist sogar nachts im Schlafsack an. (Okay, ich bin ein ein Frsekttel, aber die wollen auch in die Berge.) Der Zweiwegestretch macht klaglos alle Verrenkungen bei Zeltaufbau und Abendessen mit (Schneidersitz z.B.) und der krpernahe Schnitt verhindert strende Falten. Innen flauschig, auen glatt, bin noch nie irgendwo hngen geblieben. Angenehm bei der Hose ist der gut abgemessene Gummibund: schnell an- und ausgezogen und sitzt ohne Zugbnder perfekt. Auf die Taschen knnte ich bei der Unterwsche verzichten, aber sie stren auch nicht wirklich. Sehr sauber verarbeitet, kann man auch in der Htte oder zum Joggen tragen.

I wear these whenever it is cold enough to justify them! I have worn these during outdoor activities, outdoor football game attendance, even to work (under pants of course). They are extremely comfy and extremely warm. I usually would wear icebreaker for these types of gear, but I was sold on the RHO and will continue to rock them as they are my go to 'warm' pant.

I would like to see these in a boot cut model. I had mine altered to fit like the Phase AR Boot Cut model

I'd wear them everywhere if I could! So comfortable, great fit. Have worn in -10 C (give or take) as my only layer and was plenty warm. However, not much protection if there's any wind, but would be great under a shell. Worth every penny!

Love love love theses pants ! I bought them to wear under my soft shell pants for XCountry skiing and they have kept me super warm in very cold Earst Kootenay mountain conditions . The quality is awesome . I le Iterally wear these almost daily either outside or inside to lounge in . No pilling as the other review said . No wear and tear after over a year of wearing at least 4-5 times a week . Buying another pair ! Well worth the price for all the wear I have gotten and how warm they are !

Warm. lightweight and does a perfect job of wickiing. Plus they are very comfortable. Shop no more, this is the real deal.

This is the first item I have purchased from your company. For the Minnesota winter they are perfect: very comfortable, soft to the skin and nice and warm. I love them and encouraged a friend to buy them too.

I did not expect to be that thick, but they are weary good in cooler weather. Even if you move and sweat quite a bit you won't get humid not too hot. Ridiculously comfortable!

I love these bottoms in the winter, I wear them under all my trousers, they are warm and manage moister very well. I have fairly thick legs and a large fits me fine, I tried the XL in the local store but they were far too big. They were quickly delivered and the packaging was excellent

These are my go to base layer bottoms for the coldest of cold winter days. They are very comfortable and whisk sweat away, drying quickly. I usually wear them underneath a heavier jacket of some kind. I can't say enough good things about them. Awesome base layer bottoms!

I love my RHO AR bottom's. Not only do I use them as my base layer skiing, my base layer over my Phase's when it is really cold out, they also double as sweat pants. Whether it is right after I get home and want to through on something comfy, or I want something warm and comfortable to sleep in while camping. These pants are a dream!
