I am a collector of these hoodies for several years now and I wear them regularly from Fall to Spring! They have become a staple in my wardrobe that I can't live without! However, I would very much like to request better colors please! I would love a light baby blue, white/cream, light heather pink and light heather olive with yellow undertones. Please bring fun colors to the women's hoody! Thank you!

A great jacket! Looks great for casual wear around town and works well as a mid-layer; however, for slim-fitting shells, it can be a little thick and restrict mobility a little. Still a good mid-layer though. Shoulder pocket is handy and can fit a lip-balm and couple credit cards well. Overall I'd recommend something like a Fortrez to use as a layer instead of this. But for daily use, it's a great jacket!

I truly cannot say anything bad about this piece. It's incredibly versatile and can be worn just about anywhere, on it's own or as a layer. It's warm - I've worn it in temps around zero degrees (C) on it's own with a cotton shirt underneath. It doesn't block any wind however, so on windy cool days it may act better as a layer. While it's incredible on a hike, it looks great doing just about anything. Usually a medium will fit me in most clothing items (all brands), and the medium in the covert fit perfectly. For reference, I'm 5'8" and just under 170lbs. I would not hesitate adding this piece to your closet.

I own all three versions of the Covert jackets in different colors. Love them all. They're warm, great styling, slim fitting. I'm 5'8" 145 lbs and fit into a small perfectly. There're other brands with similar fabric but none of them have the styling and the quality stitching like Arcteryx.

it does exactly what it says on the tin. A sytlish, warm and versatile hoody.

Very cozy and breathable. Not something I wear by itself on a cold day but makes a good under layer or to wear on its own to warm up on a slightly cool day.

I purchased a covert hoody a year and s half ago after having a covert pull over for several years. I was so happy with the hoody that I purchased a second one last December in a different color. Both are my go to sweaters for most of the winter, replacing sweat shirts. Very versatile as I can wear them knocking around or even to the office. Great fit.

Got this for a trip to Iceland. I like the monochromatic style with the same colored fabric, zips and pulls. That added to its versatility for hiking and city activities. Also, it layered under different outer shells and worked well on its own on the warmer days. I sized up to get a bit more room so it also fit a down vest underneath or overtop. The hood is great for warmth but does slip down over my eyes a bit. I am 5'5 with a smaller head - perhaps it is to accommodate a helmet. I also like the length is a bit longer for me and the pockets are at a good level and held enough (phone, gloves or hat) It did pill a little where it rubbed against itself. The sleeves are long on me and a thumb slot would be a good addition, but he binding kept this from being annoying. I couldn't believe that a jacket at this price point didn't have a locker loop. somewhat minor, but hanging from the hood or neck risks a stretch mark. Otherwise, I'm quite happy with it.

I bought it for my husband who hasn't worn an Arc'teryx product before. He likes this jacket and started to wear it underneath his ski jacket. Once it warms up he can wear the jacket on its own. He finds it comfortable and likes the fit. The length is great for him (5'11") and the large fits him fine (168 pounds).

I wear them from early Fall to late Spring and do everything with them (from yoga class, shopping, work, travel, etc). I am a US size 8-10 (5'4) and tend to wear a Medium, but in this brand, I always size up to a Large which is a much better fit for me then a Medium. I would though like to request less neon colors & more on the warm/cold pallet for next season(s) such as a light baby blue, grey/pink, white, dark red & "Yukon" such as the one you have for the men this season with less contrasting! My favorite covets & the ones I purchase more often are the ones that don't contrast too much and blend in. They are much more classy & attractive unless it is a black/white theme contrast.

I have two other older Covert series products. This new Covert jacket is by far my favorite. I'm 5'9" 160lbs and wear a 16 x 35 dress shirt. I wanted it to fit snug enough to layer under a shell or other outer jacket without being too tight or restrictive as a stand alone piece. The small fit me perfectly.

I will say first that I have the Covert Cardigan jacket along with the Covert Cardigan hoody. Sometimes a hoody adds just a bit more coziness and I appreciate that. Since this design is also marketed as a mid-layer, wearing a hoody under a shell gets too bulky at the collar, thus the Covert Cardigan jacket fulfills that role. Due to the blend of the textile in both Covert models, owners may experience balling on the under forearms or places of the jacket that are in contact with other layers. This isn't necessarily a design flaw, but part of the beast. Make sure you follow the washing instructions to a T lest you want premature balling. My only 'issue' with the Covert hoody/jacket is the arm pocket. I don't find that particular feature useful and rather see it omitted with a reduction in overall price of the garment- but this is just my personal opinion.

I have many fleece jackets from other brands, but this hoody is my favorite so far. What sets this one apart for me is the fit; I can move freely in it. I like to wear it underneath my Arc'teryx vest and feel very warm without the bulk. The hoody stays in place on a windy day and covers well. The zippers are well made and stylish. Next I am going to get this jacket without the hoody.

This jacket is perfect for everyday use. My favorite hoody to grab going to the office in the shoulder seasons where the mornings are cold. I wear it fishing a lot, breathes well for what it is. I don't have to worry about scraping it against trees or rocks, very well built. Does fit on the more relaxed side, as noted, compared to the Atom LT hoody. Still have no expirienced pilling mentioned in other reviews.

I have 3 of this hoody and will be purchasing my 4th one come fall. I wear the XS and I'm 5'2", 105 lbs. and its a perfect fit since I I like the relaxed fit without being boxy. Also love that there is ample room in the hood to keep my ears warm. It really is my go to fleece jacket. I have worn to every camping, fishing and travel overseas. I use a defuzzer to get rid of the pilling but make sure fabric is flat or you can put a hole in it.

I'm 6' 165lb with a bit of a dad bod and the Atom AR in Medium is too tight on the belly, the Large is just right. That said, the Covert Hoody in Large is waay big, the sleeves hang down to completely cover my thumbs. The shoulder T-seam is maybe 1" past where it should be. There's so much room inside I could wear the Atom AR inside the covert hoody. Arc'teryx lists both Atom and Covert as "Regular fit".

LOVE this jacket!!! It's my new go-to jacket. The sleeves are a little long but same with every jacket I own. Super warm and goes over my flannels very well. I highly would recommend this jacket to someone I know.
