I had a pair of Columbia walking shoes before and found them to be sturdy and comfortable. I like they way they look with shorts and jeans as most of the tennis (running) shoes available today are too colorful for me. These shoes are a little more heavy duty than the others but very satisfactory. As usual the speed of delivery was amazing -- I swear they were on the way before I hit the return key! Great return policy but I didn't have to use it.

Have been wearing these shoes throughout the spring and they've worked out great across many terrains and weather conditions - they perform equally well in slush, rain, gravel and remain dry in everything but a complete downpour.

Great shoes. I have used them for a few weeks now. The only weird part was the heel being narrower than any other shoes I have used in a long time, I had to pay attention on how I land my foot on the floor. It doesn't take very long to get use to the narrow design. I recommend this model.

Purchased these shoes because they were waterproof, light weight and warm and wanted a walking shoe for visiting New York. They marched through puddles and slush and remained perfectly dry. Very comfortable, although I had to return first pair because they ran a little small. Second pair was perfect.

My son wears them daily, very comfortable. He has a more narrow foot and these fit fine. Only complaint is the style of shoe lace, round nylon cord, easily comes untied. This is true for any brand using this type of lace.

I bought these for my son. They work fine in the ice and the snow and the rain which was the point. They are also comfortable. He wears them everyday and is very happy with them.

Starting out tight in width. Stretching them out. I order and 11 for the extra width, but they're starting a little tight. Probably just time. Good shoe. I like the look and the feel before they get tight.

Comfortable shoe but the insole is a little thin. I added a thicker insole which made it perfect. The tread is made of a very durable material that holds up well at the expense of diminished traction on rock or wet trails. Overall the shoes are also holding up very well given the number of miles on them. My biggest grip is that the are not waterproof. On a wet day, they become noticeably soaked inside after a couple of hours of hiking. Understanding these limitations, I bought a second pair as they are great dry weather trail shoes.

These are great looking shoes and seem comfortable. Unfortunately, my son is a bigger size 15 and there was no 16 so we had to return them. He was disappointed that they didn't quite fitwould have been perfect otherwise! As his big-footed mom, I know the disappointment of shoe brands that run small.

Shoes are a nice quality and feel, but they seem to be a little on the narrow side. I normally just buy size 11 of any shoe in the regular size which I believe is D but these came in a little tight on the sides of my feet. These are my everyday shoe so I expect it will loosen up a bit over time but not what I am used to from other manufacturers like North Face. They also do not use Gore-Tex like others, so I am wondering how waterproof their material is. It is a huge feature I never go without because I like to step in puddles.

These arrived quite a bit later than originally promised, but gave me about a 10-day window for breaking them in before a scheduled hike in Olympic National Park. The sole has great tread for mixed terrain. They are waterproof as long as you don't get into water deeper than about 1-1/2". They wore well and for the most part were comfortable to hike in. They are wider than most boots I've worn or inspected. My feet are narrower than the standard width so I had to be sure to lace these boots pretty tightly. All in all a good boot, but mot great. I do recommend them to someone with average foot width.

They look good . Easy on off . I bought wide and would recommend wide sizes. They had a short break in and I can where they all day now.

Nice shoes. They seem run a bit small and the design makes your feet look smaller.

Very light weight and comfortable with good looks. They do run thin and are tight in the toe box, any doubts and you should get the wide.

Great shoe that looks similar to merrels but has more structure and less flopiness.

Very comfortable shoes. Haven't had them out for a long hike yet but they feel well constructed and expect they will hold up well.

I liked the shoe, but it was to small. I normally can buy mens size 8 with no issue. This shoe was a little tight and small. I may try to buy the next size up as I really did like the shoe. But didnt get to use them. So can not comment on.

I ordered a half size larger and a wide shoe to accommodate my thick custom orthotics. Unfortunately, the orthotics made the shoes way too tight. Without the orthotics, the boots in my regular size would have still been too small and I would still have needed a half size larger and the wide width.

Put a pair of orthotics in and now I can't take them off basically! Ordered half a size up and they are perfect. Much more bendy sole than most hiking shoes if that appeals to you. Cute for the street and trail. They're waterproof but the whole laces/tongue area is very wide without much coverage from the waterproof wings so I think the top of the foot isn't waterproof really!!

Interesting shoes...The size 11-D was the perfect length but ran too narrow due to my semi-wide foot. I had anticipated this so I ordered it in both 11-D and 11-Wide. The width of the wide was perfect for me, but the length was too long. I am not sure why making the shoe wider added to the length. I am thinking about trying the 1/2 size smaller in the Wide. If I do...I will write a new review.
