I love the omniheat clothing line and these pants do not disappoint. They are lightweight and warm. I am 5'11" and the 32" inseam is just barely long enough. Otherwise, no complaints.

At first I thought the inside of these pants felt strange, but I got used to it and then liked the warmth without being too thick like some lined pants. Unfortunately, the size 4 is too large and there are no longer 2s available. I will try again next year.

I really like the pants but I wish they came in a "long" length....they are just a little bit shorter than I like to wear...but otherwise they are just right!!

Its very comfortable and cozy. very good for minus temps. the fitting is a little loose on the legs making it look baggy. 10/10 on comfort

I have 2 pair of these pants. I love everything about them, except the two tiny snaps, that Columbia used instead of one sturdy button/snap. Usually only one snap will stay snapped, as long as you don't move. As soon as you bind over or (heaven forbid) sit down, it un-snaps. If the pants didn't have belt loops, I would have sent them back.

I have purchased these pants several times. This is a slightly different style. Although I love the fabric and the lining for warmth without bulk, the legs run VERY wide. Also, I am 5'4" and the petite size is too long. If you don't mind a wide leg pant, these are great for any outdoor activity in cold weather.

I love the pants, they keep me warm but they don't stay close, they keep opening every second, I won't return them because I really needed them so I am adding a button or something

I have not worn these pants for hiking, walking, or other outdoor activities yet. However, the lining and weight seem perfect for cool/cold weather activities. The waist on the pants was large for me (and I do not have a tiny waist), but the elastic button feature made it possible to cinch in so it fits. It does make the pants a little bunchy in the back, but legs and hips fit well. I am somewhat stocky, so if you have thin legs, you would want a smaller than usual size. I wear a 6 - 8 in pants and a 6 would probably be too tight in the hips and legs for me.

These pants feel like light weight ski pants. They are very comfortable and warm. The lining is thin/light weight but does make you feel warm. I used these in the rain and they did a good job shedding most of it.

I has purchases a omni-heat pant last year. I was looking for another one this year. I am glad to find the product. I am 5'3'', 114lb, size 4. I generally wear size 4 for other brands. For pants of Conlumbia, I need size 4.

I love the omni heat lining. I ordered a 4 short, but still have to shorten them (I always have to shorten my pants). I like the adjustments in the waistband. I too, vote for more color options (the black is a showcase for my dog's hair).

I purchased a 4 short this year because last year I purchased a 4 regular and had to send them back because they were way too long, dragging on the ground a good two inches too long. (I never wear short.) The 4 short was sold out by then. I was in a Columbia outlet recently and tried on 4 short and 4 regular in the unlined version of this pant, they did not have the lined version. The 4 short was perfect in the unlined pant. I looked for the lined pants again this year online and ordered the 4 short. Received them and they are too short!... silly looking too short. Consistency would be nice. Now I have to send these back and order the 4 regular again this year and I am hoping they will be the correct length. This year I will hem them if they are too long. Great fit and style other than the issue with the inconsistency in length. Therefore I will give these pants a 4 rating. I am 5'4" 105,6,7,8,9lbs and my body type is slight pear shape. Hope this helps anyone who is considering buying these pants.

DO NOT BUY THESE PANTS! the snaps on these pants are so small and cheep when you breathe they unsnap. I bought up a size to try and make it stop happening but I can't. I love how warm they are. They would be my favorite pants if they stayed snapped. ugh so disappointed. I have an old pair of Columbia pants that I have worn out.

Nice pants, and the waist is adjustable, but even with it cinched all the way down, it was too loose. And, I am NOT a small waisted person - about average, really. 29 or 30 in waist, I think. It would be GREAT if someone out there made pants with a big enough butt/thighs without having to take in the waist. Sending these back

Wish these pants came in LONG - pretty short and a tad tight for size 8 and I am 5'8" tall and by no means overweight - my usual size pant is 6. They are warm, but unless they make them in a long, I would not order again.

Size six was right for me, but the fit below my waist was not comfortable, too tight. Plus sometimes I'm a short, and sometimes not. I ordered short, and the legs were too short. I'm 4'4" & 115 lbs. I figure ordering longer will not solve the problem of too tight below the waist in the crotch area. The pants were not as heavy as I had hoped. If they had been less expensive, I might have kept them anyway, but I sent them back. The waist snaps people were complaining about weren't as ineffective as I had expected. The pants were very well made and had belt loops. Sorry they didn't quite work for me.

Love the Omni-Heat lining - especially during cold winter Chicago days. However, I have to return the pants because two snaps on the waist keep unsnapping. Columbia used light weight snaps when they should have used something more durable and heavy weight. The inseam for these pants are around 31" for my 5'9" height, they are too short. Wish they had worked for me.

I bought these for winter wear and was disappointed they were so lightweight and not warm enough for below freezing weather. I will wear them to keep dry in other seasons, but will need something else for winter.

I read another review that the waist was to small. I found it to be fine, but I do have an issue with the waist because it uses metal buttons that easily pop off. It fits me great when standing, but if you bend or sit the buttons often can't take any type of pressure and just come off. Luckily the zipper stays up. But I won't buy another pair until an internal button that won't pop of is used.

They are fine. They keep you warm. Fit is tough if you are curvy. My biggest problem with these pants is that the snap closure is very weak. Any time I put any stress on them (squat down, etc.), they unsnap, which is a major design flaw in activewear.

Unfortunately I've had the same problem as many other folks with 2/3 pairs of these pants. The snaps do not work on the waistband, making the pants virtually unusable. Such a simple design flaw that makes otherwise warm and toasty pants useless. They also should offer a tall size. I'm 5'7" and the pants JUST kiss my ankles. I prefer something a little longer to go over boots rather than inside but these are too short to do that. Please fix the problem, Columbia! I'd buy them in every color if you would.

I tried two different sizes of these pants and both were too small. I would have loved to have these as they seemed perfect for walking the dog in the colder temperatures.

I love these pants for everyday wear in my mountain home. However 2/3 pairs I have ordered have this issue. The snaps at the waistband pop open extremely easily. Otherwise these pants are warm and comfy and I would have given them 5 stars.

I live in Alaska and these pants are soft and comfy for chilly morning walks. I sized up so I could wear thermals or leggings underneath (they're great with and without). The reason for the 2-star review is for the ridiculous double snap-button fastener. These pants aren't tight at all, but if I take a deep breath or bend over, I hear the buttons unsnap. It's like a bad game of how long they'll stay secured and I feel like a weirdo messing with the fastener all day in public. Despite the warmth and coziness, I'd definitely return them if I could.

These would be the perfect pants except the snaps at the waist are maddening! Definitely buy these at least one size up because any kind of pressure on the waistband and the snaps are flying open. You sneeze, they pop. Bend over to tie your shoe, they pop open. Engage your core in any kind of effort and they pop open. The rest of the pant fits well tho. Also the thermal lining should be a more prominent part of the description, that was a surprise to me as well. It is effective at keeping me warmer on cold days without adding bulk, but I was completely unaware it was a feature until they arrived and I thought I got the wrong order. I may do as another reviewer mentioned and add a different closure at the waist so my pants aren't falling down while wearing my winter parka.
