These pants are great for the cold. They are true to size. As other reviewers commented, the snaps may pop open when you bend over, but I wear a belt so this has not been an issue for me. I wear rain/wind pants over them when riding in an open vehicle and I have been very toasty!

These pants are lightweight and warm. The fit is somewhat straight but not binding at all. I am curvy and can move very easily in them. I will agree with what other reviewers said about that top snap. It pops open whenever I bend over and it isn't because they are too tight in the waist. If anything, the waist is a little loose on me.

I absolutely love these pants!!! Very light weight, soft and warm - the perfect winter pants. I have been looking for a pair of pants like these for several years, but no other brands fit and felt right until I found these. No more searching for me... I've found my go-to walking/hiking pants for the cold winter days :-)) Just wish there were more color options....(eg: dark blue, khaki)

These pants are GREAT. I'm always cold, especially when I have to walk the dog in sub zero weather..These pants keeps you warm (and blocks the wind), and even when inside they never get to hot. Please always make these pants. Love them.

The pants are great for being outdoors and, unlike ski pants, aren't bulky and look great on a Christmas market. However, the snaps unsnap all the time. I still keep the pants.

The only reason is not 5 of 5 is the snap instead of buttons. If I squat it opens. The pants are super comfy. I got them for our annual new years party out doors . I know they will keep me super warm.

These pants were great on my trip to Iceland in March. They kept me warm, but not overly warm, and they're fantastic in the wind and rain. There were 60mph winds, rain, snow, and ice pellets while I was there and my legs didn't feel any of it walking around in the city. I would recommend!

I was very surprised how this thin and light pants could do such an amazing work. I was wearing it during my hike in the cold, snow and wind (40s) and it kept me perfectly warm. It also worked great during nights when temps drop to below 10s. I had to wear three layers on top but nothing underneath the pants. It has ample space to store things (5 pockets-2 with velcro and 1 with a zipper) and you can adjust the waist with elastic band with buttons. I am 5'4", 114 lb and size 2 regular was fine except that it felt a bit loose and long-but it looks slim enough I just wanted it to be tighter as it's my taste.

These pants are great for keeping you warm during a hike or golf on colder days. They fit a little bigger than expected, however I am still wearing them!

I am thrilled with these pants. The Omni-heat factor & ADJUSTIBLE elastic waist band make these perfect for winter golfing. Always finding pants with good fit in the hips but way too large in the waist, THESE ARE PERFECT! AND THEY COME IN A SHORT SIZE. Yeah!

I love these pants! I bought them before traveling somewhere very cold and wet (rain and snow). I bought them because my guy gas the mens version (which is a little thicker) and he loves those. My pants came very quickly in the mail and fit very true to size. They are a little loose through the legs, but I think this helped keep me warm. They're not the most stylish pants, and the snaps open fairly easily, but they definitely did the job. With a wool base layer on the very cold snowy days I was warm and dry after many hours of traipsing around outside.

Completely satisfied with product. I already had one pair that I purchased in 2013 and decided to purchase another pair. These fit better, has an expandable waist and although it is the same product/same company, they are different. I really like the warmth of the Omniheat.

Wanted these to wear on a ski trip instead of heavy lined jeans or pants. They are awesome. Kept me warm and were so light and good stretch to move around in. Need another pair! Got a size 10, the 8 was snug. Love them.

These pants are warm and comfy. I used them hiking in steep river bluffs in snow, temp was 14degrees with a wind chill of 5 below and they were amazing!

I LOVE these pants!!! I primarily bought them for winter golf & outdoor adventures but I also find myself in them for casual Friday and to run errands on the weekends. The omni heat inside keeps me nice and toasty.

The Columbia Saturday Trail Stretch Lined Pant 2 are the BEST PANTS!! I have worn them on a cold, rainy, and windy day and these pants kept me warm and dry. The water does repel and these pants are definitely wind resistant because I felt no draft. I would recommend this item and I plan on purchasing more of it. In regards to sizing, I found this item to fit true to size - I wear a size 4.

These pants are comfortable, functional for outdoor work, warm and blocked a pretty stiff wind. I was surprised that being lined they did not look bulky and were still flattering. Hopefully Columbia is planning on rolling out more colors soon!

I love Omni Heat so I was thrilled to find these pant, and in the short length that I need. They do not look like athletic pants so they can be worn places where I need a more polished look. As much as I love my Omni Heat base layer its nice to have this option. The Omni Heat lining does not add any bulk or weight to these. The pants fit true to size. They look nice on a variety of body types (I work in a store that carries Columbia).

I bought these for winter camping - something to wear over my long johns as I sit around the fire at night. I use them for more - I like to wear them for traveling. They're thin enough and stretchy enough to be the perfect airplane pants. I like the sleek look and extra pockets to carry my stuff. I like them enough I bought a second pair for my mother to wear while traveling as well. The fact that nothing sticks to them so they never look dirty is a bonus in her book. I bought size 12 and a size 2 and they both fit perfectly. They are a versatile winter pant for travel and camping.

I received the pants quickly and immediately liked what I saw....color and style. I especially like the adjustment capability of the waist band. The size runs as indicated in the published measures. The only issue was a problem with one of the two closure snaps; it doesn't tightly snap. However, this was not a big enough problem for me to return and exchange the pants. There are lots of features I like, and warmth and elasticity are the top two for me.

I love these pants for being outside in the cold- they are extremely warm, durable and functional. The petite size fits perfectly. Only problem- and this seems to be true for whatever style Columbia pants I wear- even though the waistband is loose, the snaps will randomly come undone, which can be embarrassing if in public. The snaps don't really snap, they just sort of barely hold together without any tension. I have the exact same problem with my Columbia hiking capris. Wish Columbia would invest in more secure snaps, otherwise, perfect pants.

The lined trail pants look great. The leg width is perfect for me. Narrow enough to be flattering and large enough for my "large for my size" calves. The lining is softer than I expected and warm. The only downside (and something many reviewers have mentioned) is the snaps. They won't stay snapped. I think I solved the problem by adding a large hook and eye to relieve the pressure on the snaps. They still tend to come open, but at least the waist is secure. I will buy another pair when the snap problem is solved.

Good quality and comfortable fit. They are warm when walking the dog but also suitable for running errands in town. Only drawback is the fabric does attract lint and animal fur.

Just hiked several miles in these in 20 degrees F, very windy, no base layer, and they performed very well. My legs weren't even chilly. I'm a standard size 6 with thighs slightly on the more muscular side, and their size 6 fit well. I didn't feel constricted at all. The only thing I don't care for is that they snap-button shut. I'd have preferred hooks.
