These are great boots in the fashion-sense. They look so cool and I get compliments on them all the time. I am rating them high because of the style. Some complaints: these claim to be waterproof - and they are - but only the foot portion; from the ankle up it is all felt material. The tongue is not attached to the boot so they are definitely not 100% waterproof and I definitely would not stay dry if I walked through a foot or deeper of snow. Great boots for cold Fall days. The arch support isn't the best but I put my own inserts in so they are fine. My feet stay warm but not toasty. Waiting for the colder months here in CT (January & February) to test how warm these will keep me. Overall I am satisfied.

Super cute but ended up returning them for 2 reasons. I was looking for a snow boot for when I visited my in-laws in North Dakota. I think there is too much felt that isn't waterproof. Secondly they were too wide in the toe area but fit nicely everywhere else. If you don't like a form fitting boot like I do, this might work for you.

I have been keeping my eyes on these boots and they came today. I wore then out for 5 hours of errands. I love these boots! I have others for shoveling and nasty wear - but for normal running around - perfect. I live in Maine - there is always "weather." Light, comfortable, attractive. Everywhere I went - everyone - man woman and child commented on how great these looked. I cannot express how comfortable they were. I am a true size 8. I wear them with smart wool socks and a perfect fit. Perfect. I hated to take them off when I came inside. I love how light they are. Still - plenty tough to take the bad weather.

This boot is NOT waterproof. If that's what you need, do NOT buy it. It IS a nice cross between a heavy snow boot and a hiker, however, if you're a winter walker. Though traction is not great. The boot is better suited to erranding in town than winter walking/hiking.

I love this boot. It is lightweight and comfortable for walking. Not as heavy or warm as my Sorels, but on the other hand I would easily go for a hike or long walk in cold weather in this boot. It is not super warm, but much warmer than a plain leather boot. Others have reported that they run large and that is accurate. If you want to wear these with only panty hose or thin socks, like you would with a dress boot, I would go down a half-size. If you want to wear this with thick socks, or have a wide foot, I would go with your regular street size (which is what I did).

My feet tend to get cold and stay cold, so my search for winter boots has been a long and arduous one. I waited to review so I could give a fair assessment... and let me say, I really adore these boots. Within the first two weeks of owning them I wore them out and about in Colorado, Nebraska, Montana, and Wyoming. In December. I've worn them with wool socks and cotton socks (usually inadvisable in the winter) and I was warm and comfy in both. I did not wear these for "heavy trekking" (i.e. I was not out tracking elk &/or Christmas trees) but for my typical winter use they were great. One of the BEST things about these are the fact that they are lightweight and flexible, not unlike an athletic shoe. This keeps my toes flexing and warm as well as keeping me comfortable. I walked around for about four hours in Denver in the snow and I was a happy camper. Bonus: They look pretty sweet with skinnies. =)

These boots are ideal for anyone who does a lot of walking in cold weather and moderately slushy conditions and wants to look good at the same time. While they're not waterproof enough for doing heavy work in wet conditions, they have protection for most ordinary winter weather. Roomy enough for thick socks, which you'll need because they're only moderately insulated, but my feet have stayed warm in 8-degree weather. The lace up makes fit to arch and calf fully adjustable. Very happy with them!

These boots are cute, functional and warm. They do bulge a bit around the ankle, but I have that problem with a lot of my boots. My legs certainly err on the wider side and these fit well, although I surprisingly needed to order a size down, which was easy to do with a Zappos exchange. The deal breaker for me when choosing boots is ease of pulling them on and off. These feature a side zipper, which makes getting in and out of them a breeze. These boots withstand rain, snow and slush and are easily cleaned with a wet cloth. I love that they are a bit more unique than Sorels or Uggs.

These boots were great in the snow and cold weather...used them to snow mobile but they also looked good with jeans and going out. Had so many compliments. One woman took a picture of them to order them!

Warm and stylish. I wear either 7 or 7 1/2 and I ordered a 7 1/2 and they fit great. They are light on my feet and are comfortable to wear all day.

Tried these out in the Snozilla snow here in Baltimore and they did great! They're comfy, easy to put on with the side zip and super cute. Definitely run large, I wear a standard 6 but bought the 5.5 and they're perfect (with room for socks).Yes they bunch a bit at the ankle but when you look at them in the mirror you realize it's not that bad, just looks worse from above when you're wearing them. Super light, taking them to Montreal next!

These boots were exactly what I needed. I went half a size down and they fit perfectly. Right off the bat, they were worn all day for a week. They were warm and comfy. The side zip is easy for getting on and off, but the laces are easy to adjust if needed.

Received these boots after 3 other attempts to find the perfect boot. These boots are so easy to get on and off, do this multiple times per day and its never a hassle. They do run big, I usually wear an 8 and I ordered a 7.5 after reading other reviews. I still have plenty of room for warm socks and 2 pairs if they aren't really thick. I am happy with this purchase- well worth it!

This is a great boot that I would definitely order again! It is very comfortable, warm and super stylish. The fit is true to size and a comfortable width that allows for cozy socks.

I bought these boots primarily to wear to/from pre-dawn spin class through the winter months. The height is adequate to completely cover my legs when I'm wearing cropped leggings (without the need for knee-high socks or leg warmers), and the knit provides a lovely warmth. These boots are extremely lightweight and comfortable. I, like some other reviewers, found them to run slightly large. My usual 7.5 felt too roomy even with the thickest socks I own. So I sized down to a 7 and found an ideal fit.

Very cute shoes and Zappos was great, like always with the delivery. Feet and calves warm and toasty, even in the coldest weather in Boston. Received multiple compliments.

These are very cute and appear waterproof even though it looks like felt - a nice change of pace from normal snow boots. They do run at least a size big though, so I recommend ordering a full size or more down.

I purchased these boots to be worn on a daily basis through the winter months. I needed boots that were warm, dry, easy to put on/take off, and would last me through the Chicago winters. As I am more than half way through my second Chicago winter with them, I am very happy with these boots. How I use them: - I have a 12 block walking commute to my office each way, which is a good 30 minutes at a time being outdoors in these boots. - the boots are comfortable enough that I don't feel the need to switch them out for other shoes at the office. - after work I tend to walk around for about an hour either running errands or trying to rake up fitbit steps, boots hold up nicely in both the warmth and comfort departments. Things to note: - the side zipper makes them easy to slide on and off, but the shaft of the boot is pretty stiff and you will need to pull your socks over the bottom of your pants in order to get them on (I had some north face boots a few years back that were easy to slide on over pants that were cuffed without pulling socks over them, but that is not the case with these boots) - they fit true to size but if you wear thicker socks in the winter, you may want to size up a half size. however... - they are very warm and often I find my feet sweating in them. I've taken to wearing much thinner socks when wearing these boots then what I would usually wear in the winter. - the metal parts have oxidized a bit. - the fake fur lining on the top has rubbed off in a bunch of spots. I'm personally ok with this as I prefer the obviously fake plush fur on these boots then some other winter boots that have more realistic, bushy fake fur on top. your mileage may vary.

I haven't worn these boots much as I received them at the end of the winter, and thus cannot speak to their warmth. What I can say is that they are surprisingly light, which is a major plus as far as I'm concerned. They feel well made and are comfortable. On one foot, there is a spot that is slightly uncomfortable just above my toes, but I think that might just be a fluke, it doesn't bother me if I remember not to tighten the boots too much.

Loved this boot but it fit like a glove (albeit comfy). There was no way I could ever wear them with anything other than leggings and I really wanted them to wear over jeans. They were somewhat difficult to get on, even with the zipper open and laces loosened. Comfortable once on though. They are very form fitting. I am 5' 8", 135 lbs, with a 14.5" calf. Shoe size: 8.5 and it fit well in that respect.

I got these boots for walking the dog. I was hoping for a comfortable boot that I could walk a lot in. They aren't as cushiony as I had hoped, but they are fairly comfortable and they keep my feet warm.

I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 boot. I ordered an 8.5 and could not get my foot into the shoe part because it was too tight. A pity, because the boot looked like it would fit the bill for being warm, waterproof and not look too much like a snow boot.

The top of these boots is very cute. The ankle area was a bit wide for me and the material covering the foot looks a bit cheap, especially at this price. I wanted something I could walk in and wear all day, and these were comfortable but didn't look as good in person as they do online.

Very warm, very comfortable and pretty stylish for a snow boot, but the traction is not what it should be for inclement weather.
