I ordered the Wide Calf, Wide Width Size 8. Definitely runs very narrow- and long! The boot was way too long in the foot. The wide calf was just a little too tight.

Nice looking boot, but my daughter could not get her foot all the way into the boot to zip it up! It appeared to be long enough, but the boot was not wide enough for her foot. She has a D width foot.

I'm so disappointed. The boots came in on time and they look wonderful! Great quality and the foot part fits so comfortably. But I guess my gigantic calves are too abnormal for these boots. I read all of the reviews and I was convinced that these would fit. I couldn't even zip the shaft halfway. The search for perfect boots continues...

I am really disappointed in these but I think the lesson here is you get what you pay for. I ordered Sam Edelman's and a pair of Frye boots. These are going back unfortunately and going to keep the Frye boots. They aren't cheap but they are worth the extra cost.

I had high hopes for these boots from the reviews. I was looking for a second pair of riding boots in Black (I have the Naturalizer Harbor wide calf boot in brown, 8.5W, they fit perfectly). The shaft was perfect, but the foot was very stiff and did not feel like a W at all. The length of the foot was fine, but it was so stiff and narrow, I could barely take a natural step in them. So thankful for Zappos easy return policy. Looks like I'm getting my Naturalizers in Black as well.

They were sold out of the Wide shoe sizes, so I purchased the wide calf size 10. This was SUCH a *narrow* shoe. The wide calf part was fine I guess, but the shoe itself was so slim with such a low tiny arch, I couldn't get my foot in. Really ridiculous. If you have wide calves, odds are the shoe part should be slightly wider, too. Super disappointed bec the leather on these looked great.

The boot is beautiful and the calf size is perfect. On the flip side, the shoe is very narrow and very uncomfortable. I have very high arches and I could barely get my foot in the shoe bed, even with the zipper totally unzipped.

If your calves are over 15 inches, these boots will not fit you! Was very hopeful that this "wide calf" boot would fit. I've got major problems finding something in a size 6 to fit me - even though my calves are only roughly 16 inches. Got them in today - and the boots are beautiful! Leather is fabulous, and I was so exited to try them on...but the calves were way too small. Not even close to fitting. They are labeled in the description as fitting 16' calves, but I could not even come close to getting them zipped. I'd say the measurement was at least an inch off. Description should read that it will fit 15' calves...which is really not 'wide' at all. Heels felt a tad snug, but given the leather from which they are made, I'd expect they would've stretched to become comfortable if the shaft had been the right diameter and I'd have been able to keep the boots. Very disappointed.

For wide calf boots, I was surprised that these were so narrow on the footbed area. The overall style was nice but I find it hard to understand why they would make narrow footed wide calf boots - chances are, someone with a wide calf has a medium to wide foot to match their calf.

I realized this boot is medium and such will be returned. I went a half size up and the boot was still very tight. Also the calf part almost zipped but not the full way. So sad because they are really beautiful boots.

Loved the look of the boot! Bought them in my usual size and had difficulty putting them on. I've never had a boot that zipped in the back and though I thought it was very stylish, they were more difficult to step into than I anticipated. Will be returning.

I'm usually not one to bash a product, but I had very high hopes for these boots. I read all of the reviews and thought that I had finally found The Boots. I've been looking for a new pair of leather boots for a very long time. They seemed like a reasonable price, nice quality from the pictures, and the reviews were good. So, I took a leap and bought them online. I went with the wide-calf because well, I have wide calves. I'm 5'4" and am really muscular so, I always have a problem finding boots that fit. I have to say, not only was I disappointed with the size of these boots when I received them, but I was also disappointed with the look. The wide-calf was way too wide and the leather looked really cheap. I had googled the boots on people before I purchased to make sure they looked good, but I must have gotten a bad pair because they really did not look chic or expensive at all. I sent them back immediately. My advice, if you'd like these boots, try them on in person and don't get the whiskey because they just really didn't look good.

I think the boot is much prettier online. The gold buttons are actually rusty gold, not bright gold as pictured. The calf was really wide so it works for jeans, but wearing on a naked leg looks awkward. My biggest problem with boot though is that the zipper in the back actually sticks into your foot when you wear it. Ouch.

So I bought these boots in brown last year and they were the best boots I have ever worn - comfortable, fit around my wide calves, etc. I decided to buy the ones in black and it's like they changed to cheaper material - they are tight, firmer leather, and just not comfortable. And totally small and tight everywhere!

Love the look of these boots but the shaft is not plus size. You can't stretch them because they have zippers, either.

The color was a very dull, aged brown. There was not enough olive green to call it olive green. The dark toe was not tasteful. The boot fit beautifully! I am really sad about the color.

I purchased these to replace an older pair that I bought several years ago. I bought the same color, width, and wide calf as the my older pair. My older pair the shaft was 100% leather. These have a fabric lining that prevents stretch. The shoe is also narrower and pinched my toes. This pair is really stiff and feel like plastic. Returning

The leather was scuffed and the tint on the two toes did not match. Very disappointed in appearance.

If you DON'T want the SOLES of your boots heels TO STAY ON you might want to try these boots. I have NEVER had a pair of boots LAST UNDER 4 MONTHS, (even with my crooked walk) UNTIL NOW. The heel soles wore down to the edge of faux stacking and the sole SOLE POPPED OFF the hollow heel. Mind you the uppers held up fine. It is a shame. Comfortable and nice looking. Sole constructed of POOR MATERIAL. (Boots only worn to work. Commute was by car... I didn't hike there. Then I am in a chair most of the day.)

Horrible. I couldn’t even get them on to see how they fit in my calf. The zipper is in the back and the ankle portion was so tight I couldn’t even get my foot in without scraping it so hard on the zipper that I ripped my stockings. After shoving my foot in, I couldn’t even zip it up. I normally easily wear a 7 in Rothy’s, which run narrow/small, so I don’t think a bigger size would help. Really weirdly designed—I’ve never had this issue with boots. Overall, the leather is nice and the boots are pretty, but the sizing was way too weird. I won’t try again.

I am so sad these didn’t fit my calves. I ordered a size 7 wide calf which should’ve fit just fine, but my calves barely zipped up in them, my feet felt like they were encased in a hard leather vice, no arch support, very uncomfortable sole, and were so tight, I felt like a robot in them.
