Dansko has had a disappointing run for the past five years for someone like me who loves the old-school Dansko fit that is a little loose in the heel and roomy in the toe box. For the past few years the instep has been high (in all styles) so it cuts into the top of my foot, or the toe box is narrow, and worst of all, when the clog fits like a regular shoe, snug all around. The problem now is offering them in Narrow, Medium or Wide -- which one is the traditional fit -- is it the Medium or Wide? These Professional clogs are problematic on another level -- because they're unisex, the heel is too wide for a woman's foot. This clog in particular was also shallow so my entire foot seemed to keep coming out of the clog with each step. I'd take a step and the clog would come flying off.

I want to love these shoes. Nice looking and great support. BUT the banding that runs across the top of the shoe is very tight and has not stretched out at all.

Don't be fooled by the "narrow" size. It's not. I'm a long-time Dansko clog wearer. I know my size 40N and have had two pairs that fit beautifully. These do not. Even with thick wool socks, my narrow feet fall out of them. I even ordered a second pair assuming this was a fluke. The second pair fit exactly the same as the first. I'm returning them both.

I really wanted to wear these shoes after reading the great reviews. When I got them, I really couldn't get my foot in them. I usually wear a wide size, but these seemed more narrow than most. Ordering was simple, and returns seem simple. Staff was great!

Do not buy Dansko clogs! I purchased these clogs 5 months ago. They were the most comfortable shoes that I had ever worn. Loved them. Until I woke up one morning with terrible foot pain with no warning. I couldn't walk or go to work for days. (I teach first grade.) I laid in be in tears for days. After a full dose of steroids for inflammation, I am only in pain at the end of a long walk or work day. Please do not make the mistake that I did. Stay away from Dansko!

Will never buy Dansko again. After a few years the soles of both shoes crumbled. Store where I purchased said they have heard of this and I need to contact Dansko direct. These took forever to break in due to the band across the top of my foot being too tight.

The wide width is no wider than regular. My podiatrist says I need a wider toe box than the regular Danskos. Since my feet have gotten worse, I decided to order these in wide. They came today. The box says wide, and the shoe says wide. I already have this exact shoe in regular width. They are exactly the same - I even measured. I am returning them tomorrow. I am very disappointed because the only shoes I can wear are my New Balance 840s with custom orthotic. They look great for work (not).

Color for the espresso ones is different as shown. The comfort is exactly what you'd hope for from Dansko clogs but I haven't decided if I'm keeping them. They're one color and it's a very, very dark brown.
