I totally love these shoes. I have wide feet with bunions, and am on my feet all day teaching school. I cannot believe that I have not been wearing Danskos all along. I am always afraid to spend a lot of money. Again, a school teacher mentality. These shoes are cute, comfortable, and built to last. They are so worth it.

If you're very particular about how your shoes fit, know that Danskos can be a little frustrating. I've had many pairs over the years and it seems each style fits a bit differently. I recently ordered this pair (and a pair of Dankso Pro Cabrio Leathers) to replace a style called Dansko Sport, which was discontinued a few years back. The Sports fit pretty wide, so I ordered this pair in wide because I have another pair of cabrios that fit a little more narrow than I prefer. Turns out, for no reason I can tell, the wide Dansko Pro Oiled feels 1/4"-1/2" wider all around than the wide Dankso Pro Cabrio (and yes, all of these are the same shoe size, 43). I can't give you a fail safe method for picking the right width based on the shoe you want. All I can say is the wide Oiled is definitely a wider fit than the wide Cabrio. They're almost "too wide" in the amount of slip you're going to feel (clogs should slip off your foot a little when you walk), but it's manageable, in my humble opinion. Overall I love Danskos for comfort and support, and would recommend them to anyone. It just may take a little tweaking to get the fit just the way you like it. Good luck!

I am a devoted Dansko wearer, but for some reason just never tried the professional series before. I love these shoes. I am a 9.5 with a slightly wide foot. The 40 regular fit perfectly. It took me a little while to get used to the fact that they are supposed to be loose at the heel, but now I love them. I also am always on the look out for blue shoes, and when I saw these in blueberry that is what tempted me to buy them. I now have them in the blue and the expresso. They are perfect for business casual with khakis.

Great support. I use to wear tennis shoes at work at a busy hospital but they get so worn out within a year. I used to hate the thought of wearing these shoes but I can't afford to buy new tennis shoes every year so I gave in to Danskos! I'm normally a size 8, size 38 in these fit great. Most everyone I know says that these shoes will hurt your feet for a few days adjusting to it. This is true, I had to switch back to my gym shoes for a day. After a few days, I was able to adjust and wear these for 16 hours.

I found Dansko shoes around 7 years ago. Oh, my, the first pair was a black tapestry design. I still wear them and they are so very comfortable. I can take walks in them, wear them all day standing up to teach. I have bought a new pair each year since. The only ones I should not have bought in my size 37 was a shinny pair of brown ones. If I had gone up one size, these would have been perfect. I have a foot with a bad bunion. All my other Dansko shoes fit great and still look great after being worn off and on since each pair was bought. When I am able I will buy another pair. Living off retirement has put a halt to my buying a new pair this year.

I have "problem feet" - Super high arches & wide feet / tendonitis resulting from them. When I put on these shoes for the first time I was like putting on different feet. I walked differently, steadily, confidently, and without any arch pain. These are STURDY, heavy, strong shoes best for someone who's on their feet all day. I'm an NYC commuter and I find that they last all day. It took about a week to fully break them in but it was worth it.

I was nervous to buy these shoes but I am SO happy I did. My feet are very boney and I have always loved a cushy, croc type shoe. Even though most of the nurses at my hospital wear Danskos, I was scared to spend the money and not like them. After recieving a little bonus at work I decided to pull the plunge. I always loved the way they looked- so professional. Let me tell you, best money I ever spent. They are so comfortable. After my 12 hour shift I don't want to take them off! I will have to say they do take a week or so to get use to. I find they make me a little taller and give me better posture which then gives me more confidence at work! LOVE my Danskos!!!!

I have issues w/ my feet but they are happy in these shoes. They look so nice too. Happy to own a comfortable shoe that looks so good & not a tennis shoe. I love the color. Price is worth it.

I love my Danskos. Have worn them for years. They're my main winter shoes and can be worn in almost all weather except deeper snow. This style works with almost all pants - fabulous with jeans. I would like a more delicate style also but so far this style I like best. They're totally comfy, can wear them forever and never feel tired.

I have these clogs in shiny red and found so comfortable I wanted another pair that would be more everyday. The only thing I worry about is turning my ankle in them if I step on a large stone. I never get the pain in the ball of my foot like I do with other shoes. I think its the arch.

Dansko clogs lasts must have changed since I purchased narrow- widths clogs several years ago. Shorter, wider so, for me, not nearly as comfortable.

I really love this shoe! This is my second pair. I am a teacher who typically needs orthotics in my shoes. I can walk in these all day without them. My first pair was the black pro xp. I waited for the pro xp in this color. I can't remember the difference, the these seem to be equally comfortable and supportive. I wear a size 5-5 1/2 and ordered the size 35. I like that I can wear these in different types of weather and socks. I easily got used to the "loose" heel. These are worth the money when you consider how much professional orthotics are the fact that you are not uncomfortable trying to fit orthotics inside shoes and the frustration of how those can change the overall feel of the shoe. I highly recommend these.

Dansko clog has always been my go to everyday shoe. I wore the blueberry out after 20 years and these new ones are lovely. Very dark, rich navy, comfortable as always and superb support. Danskos run a little large and I wear a 39 for my size 8-81/2 feet. Just make sure you have enough room for foot to rise a little without rubbing in back as you walk.

The narrow work perfectly for my feet, it does not wiggle at all. Back is loose when you walk but that is because it has a hard bottom, size runs perfectly!

There are different opinions on sizing with these clogs but if you read how Dansko says they are supposed to fit it makes sense, they say your heel should move up and down with each step. I usually wear a 9 and I bought a 40, medium width and it definitely has some room, feels too big at first, but after wearing them for an eight hour serving shift I know why they are the best. No foot pain, no knee pain, no back pain. I actually did almost roll my ankle a couple times because these shoes are pretty tall but once I got used to the feel of them I didn't feel wobbly anymore. The clog look is a little dweeby, I thought about wearing pigtail braids to work and yodeling, but they are growing on me. The black oiled leather really is super nice and easy to wipe clean. In summary, these may take a little adjusting to, but you will probably end up love them just like me.

I have medium to narrow feet with normal arches and wear a 7.5-8 US. The 38 regular width is a perfect fit. I've never owned any work shoes with this level of arch support. They feel perfectly conformed to my foot, even without breaking in. I walk about a mile to and from work every day, and then I'm often standing for long periods of time. These shoes are wonderful. The loose heel design was a bit strange at first, but I don't notice anymore. My only complaint concerns an irritating seam along the interior of the upper, at the arch, where the toe box connects to the heel piece. I got my sewing scissors in there and just snipped off the stiff corners of the heel pieces (which are not visible from the outside), and this did the trick. The manufacturer should bevel these or round them some so they're not so irritating without socks. Otherwise these shoes are perfect!

Danskos are my favorite shoes. My first pair lasted 8 years. I still have them. The only reason I don't wear them anymore is because my feet grew during pregnancy. These are wonderful shoes! They have great arch support and leave my feet and back happy at the end of the day. And I am on my feet all day long!

Always awesome work shoes that save my back and legs. True to fit. May need a few days of breaking in but totally worth it.

Leaving 5 stars for now. The shoe is a lovely, well-made luscious-leather clog which means the loose-fitting heel will take some getting used to. Ordered my usual size (9.5) but will need to wear with a thick sock. Otherwise my foot 'swims' in the euro size 40. Ah well, I did purchase the clog for winter wear!

These shoes are better than I expected. I have flat feet so my feet start to hurt very quickly in most tennis shoes. I tried these out and I was able to stand without pain for over 12 hours! I wear a size 8-8.5 in dress shoes and the size 39 was perfect for me.

Great pair of shoes for someone that is standing up or walks for most of their work day. I recommend for you to get this kind of shoe. Worth the money.

I just bought my 4th pair of Danskos- a committed wearer. Sooo comfortable! However, the size 39 reg patent leather fits a little more snugly & properly than the blueberry oiled leather size 39 that I just bought. I can't figure out what to do? Size down? Has anyone else had a sizing inconsistency?

I think everyone needs a pair of these. I have a fairly narrow petite foot and ankle so they don't look fantastic on me but they are so comfortable and easy to slip on and they are waterproof and not slippery. The trick is to make sure your heel can easily slide out as you walk and your foot curves. I did not know this at first. I bought a pair that were my actual foot size once and they rubbed me raw. I ordered these a little bigger and they are wonderful. I'm sorry they are not the prettiest things I've ever seen and they might feel heavy for some but very comfortable, stable and they make me feel tall. I also love that they hold you more anatomically correct and make you walk heel to toe. I could walk in these all day. I would love to see even more color and pattern options in this style.

I wear a 36 narrow. The Brown Oiled Leather fit a little more snugly (more narrow) than the Black Oiled Leather Dansko clogs that I own. They took a few days to break in. Great for work where I am on my feet about 50% of the day. Wearing Dansko's has improved my posture and balance. I really love that I do not need my orthotics in these shoes. Very happy that someone makes narrow shoes for small feet.
