This is a beautiful shoe but it is hard and hurts my feet. It is also a heavy shoe. Not for me!

OUCCCHHH I'm a huge fan of Dansko's, I've worn them for years but always stuck with the Mary Jane styles. I decided I'd give the clogs a go for winter since I moved to a cold, snowy climate. They arrived. I ordered the "oiled blueberry"- it just looks like a swampy black. The leather was extremely stiff and unyielding, just getting them on was painful. The design puts pressure on the top of my foot which sucks and finally, they just did not feel at all attractive. Normally Dansko's make me feel like my feet are cute and little but these just felt clunky and unflattering.

These might have had good arch support if I could have gotten them on!! They were SO much smaller than I need, I wear a 9.5 wide, ordered a size 41 (10.5-11) and it killed my feet to put them on. What the heck size would I have to order?? BACK they go... People, listen to the reviews, they are right that this style runs small. Now I know too... On the bright side, ZAPPOS quick shipping, return policy, and credit to my card is always quick!

I bought this shoe in a wide size and it was still far too narrow. Couldn't wear this shoe more than 5 minutes without it hurting.

It is too hard, it is a hard impact walk, there are several products out there much more comfortable. I will not buy this brand again.

I've been wearing Dansko Professional clogs for years. Unfortunately, I've noticed a real degradation in quality over that time. The ultrathin laminate coating on the black pair I bought in December started peeling within a few short weeks of purchase, like sunburnt skin, and the padded collar around the top of the shoe has cracked. I don't abuse shoes, not do I wear these daily, so I expect more wear than this at this price. Sad because I like the way they look but won't be ordering this brand again.

I wanted to love this shoe so badly, but unfortunately I am going to need to return them as they are far too narrow. I have never had a problem with wide width shoes in the past, and even some regular width shoes fit perfectly fine, but the wide width on this shoe does not work for me at all. I tried wearing them to work three separate days hoping they would stretch out, but after a few hours on my feet, my feet would go numb! The color is great, the style is great, but these shoes just do not work for me.

Zappos did a great job sending me what I ordered. I bought the same exact shoes 5 years ago I have to say the quality of the shoes has gone way down. Won't buy them again.

Cheaply made. After only a few weeks of sporadic wear the edging around the top of the shoe started to peel and crack. I have fairly narrow feet, yet these were still tight fitting around the toes. I will not order another pair of this brand.

Wanted to like these shoes, but I have a very high instep and they were very uncomfortable, back they go.

Nice shoe but the sizing was off. Same, exact, size as my old Dansko, but I can hardly get my foot in the new shoe. Was told that the shoes are hand-made and can have some sizing variation. You may want to buy these in an actual store so you can try them on first.

This shoe is sized small in both length and width. The leather is very hard and not pliable. The structure and sole provides very good support, but I will have to return as it is too narrow and short (in a 41 Wide).

I heard so many great things about Dansko shoes and have heard about their great quality. I was so excited for them to arrive in the mail so that I could use them for the office. When they arrived, they looked of good quality. I had ordered the wider width being that I have wider feet. The left foot fit fine, but the it felt tighter on the right side. I thought that it just needed to be worn down a bit. It took a while to get used to because I've never worn any clogs before. I had these shoes less than 1 year and I was very disappointed when the staples started coming out on the sides. I didn't even wear them everywhere I went. Mainly in the office, so of course they should've lasted longer but they didn't. You would at least think that they would last longer than a couple months, that was a big disappointment. I don't think I will ever order the Danskos again, being that this would always be my problem. They were pretty comfortable. I liked the arch. But they are not very durable.

Nice looking shoes, really comfortable but do not hold up to full time restaurant use. 5 months and the leather upper has holes. will be switching brands.

My foot fits inside very comfortably but the shoe hugs way to tight on the top of my foot. The top of my foot feels bruised by the end of the day. I'd like to try out a size larger but my foot fits in perfect, it's just the top hugs way too tight.

Though same size as previously ordered and has worked well, this pair was very tight and painful. Not sure how much this will improve with continued wear, as the band across the front does not appear to have much 'give.'

Extremely uncomfortable. Can’t imagine how anyone could tolerate them. Like wearing wooden shoes.

This shoe has long been the standard for restaurant footwear, however that was not the case for me. The option to size up was entirely too big and my size fit snug. So snug it ruined the nail polish off my big toe. The shoe was highly uncomfortable and stiff, I honestly don’t know how people work in these. The support felt great, but overall not a shoe for me.

I’m so disappointed. I’ve been buying these same clogs, in the same size for over 30 years. In the last 10 years there have been issues with inconsistent sizing and fit. On occasion I have to return a pair for being too large. I then usually return them and buy another and the new pair will fit as they should. But not this time. Bought 2 pair and will be returning both due to being too large. I need to buy Sanita brand (though I don’t think they are as durable as Dansko).

These size 35 shoes are huge compared to several other size 35 Danskos I own.

The shoes are made smaller then they used to be. My foot barely fit in the shoe. My big toe hit the front while my heel rubbed against the back.

I have always wanted a pair of Dankos like these, but these made my feet hurt terribly right out of the box. They are not for me. Just not my tyle, I guess. Maybe my feet are just too narrow. Too bad.

Too big and wide. My foot was swimming. I followed the suggestion from Zappo the size 8.5-9.0 would be to small and ordered a size up
