I ordered the exact pair I’ve been wearing for 2 years and these are way larger in length and width.

I had to return them because the fit wasn't quite good enough. Different sized feet, and the right one was just too tight.

I’ve had MANY pairs of Dansko’s over the past few years (prof, xp & xp 2.0), I’ve had plantar fasciitis for years and they really help me get through a 12+ hr shift with no heel pain at all, however the main problem I’ve always had is the fit across the top of my foot, it always seems to be a little too snug so I finally decided to order these in the Wide width but Disappointingly they fit exactly the same as all of the other MANY Dansko’s I’ve had, there is absolutely no difference in the width. I don’t know if it is a manufacturing issue but I’m really disappointed. Dansko’s are truly designed for a very narrow foot. PRO: These Dansko’s are absolutely gorgeous! I love the oiled leather, they hold up really well & don’t crease like the other styles,

The Professional model is a bit too large and too wide - sent it back. The XP 2.0 fits much better

I’ve worn Danskos for over 20 years. These felt harder, clunkier, cheaper, and way less comfortable. They just don’t make them like they used to. Returned.

I've worn this model of shoe for years. This pair feels somehow more stable than the previous pairs in which I was prone to ankle rolling, but also a bit more constricting. They tend to break in well, so I'll hold onto them. I've found weird variance in pairs that were labeled the exact same size (purchased at the same time) over the years, so maybe I just got a pair that is on the smaller end this time around. I hope they stretch a bit -- when they fit, they are the best shoes I've had for being on my feet for hours at a time.

I want to love this shoe. I used to have shoes similar to this many years ago by Merrill, though with less of a heel. I bought these for professional use, involving lots of standing and walking and moving around (currently, substitute teaching kids) because they can match pretty much anything and I have a disdain for high heels. I have pretty much no arches - flat feet - and my toes like to have plenty of breathing space in the toe box. These shoes appear to meet all my needs (before putting them on) EXCEPT because of the slidy-ness of the interior of the shoe, and the slightly heightened heel, my whole foot slides forward and my toes get smashed up against the front of the shoe. These shoes ARE the right size, they're very solid and durable seeming, and stylish - but I lose the benefit of the large toe box because of the "forward falling". I'm returning these for this reason to find something similar without the sliding.

I have a pair of these in this size, approx 2 years old. This shoe was very tight on my feet.

The instep was so tight it was painful even in a wide width. I have ordered this exact shoe in the exact same size in 2014 and did not experience this, however, I had to return this pair. Based on other reviews, I am not the only one who had this issue.

purchased the same style but different color. These felt narrower than the other color I ordered

The length fits and my heel slips out each step (as intended) but the area across the top of the foot is so tight it is painful. I ordered wide width and the heel is definitely wide, but these are clearly made for people with no arch in their feet. I'm going to try to stretch them because I don't want to just toss these at this price.

Show was way too big In the length but very narrow in the width. Not comfortable when tried on.I had to return this and get a different brand shoe all together

Reviews of dansko suggest runs narrow and small. I ordered a wide a size up. Too big and will return.

Totally awful as far as rubbing up against the top of my foot!! I don’t have exceptionally high arches but after 1 shift of wearing these my feet hurt as if I have crammed them in a shoe 2 sizes too small! I don’t understand why, and they have not stretched out whatsoever even after wearing them as best I can for stretching. Super disappointed I will have to likely not wear them!

I have worn Danskos for years. The heel area in this model is so wide (in the regular width) that my heel comes out of the shoe while walking.

The uppers are not leather. They are simply coated. After wearing for a month or so it became evident under the tub that these shoes were made of formed fabric with faux leather covering. Bummer deal. I still wear them & they get the job done. I just expected a quality Dansko vs what I received.

love the style, the sizing is off. i ordered the same size as my other (multiple) Danskos and this does not fit the same, it is smaller.

The leather on the inside of the shoe has the rough side placed in the wrong direction. Instead of your foot sliding onto the shoe, it catches on the roughness of the leather and is quite uncomfortable. Very very disappointed. I do not have this issue with any of my other danskos.

My usual size 39 narrow fit but these were not comfortable right out of the box as previously. They rubbed on the top of my foot and felt slightly tight. After a year of very intermittent use they are now comfortable. Also, both shoes have a whitewash gray band that used to be brown around the edge of both shoes. I still love danskos for comfort, just disappointed in the quality for the price paid.

Because Dansko Pro is hand crafted, their sizing is inconsistent. The first pair I bought, one of the shoes was really narrow - not medium as stated, while the other was fine. So I exchanged it for another one of the same size after reading that Dansko is handmade & hence, the shoes can vary in fit. The 2nd pair fitted better, but I still think Dansko medium size is not a true medium, more like a medium-narrow.

I am a 10.5 in women's, and I guess I just have to accept that I am in between a 41 and 42 in Danskos :( 42s are definitely too big and the 41s my toes hit the front just enough to know it would be an issue.

bought the red ones. color is a true red, non shiny. typical dansko. on my feet all day and have good support. the material for the inside of the shoes, don't know if they are changing it or not but a bit cheaply made. i buy between danko and sanitas and finding they are not lasting as long as they used to. the construction is starting to go down hill but price still pretty high. overall okay. nothing amazing but comfertable. wish they just lasted longer and made them better with better material.

Size 39 was too large but 38 was too tight in the toe area but loose on the heel. Had to return.

These looked great, but were not nearly wide enough even though I ordered the W. The band across the top of my instep was super tight and uncomfortable. Very disappointed.
