One clog was perfect, the other too big

the black danskos should be ordered 1/2 size smaller than your regular foot size, or when ordering the brown ones, for example.

Love, and wore these Dansko clogs for years. After a break from clogs, tried them again. I have bunions, a high arch, and pronate. These have fabulous arch support, and are true to size. The toe box is nicely roomy. But these- ordered in wide- were just too narrow, would have required long break in or professional stretching. Awesome clogs for the right foot- not for mine any longer, sadly. Also- It is INDEED possible to 'fall off' your clogs on uneven terrain, which I did during try on. I'm older, no longer able to risk a twisted ankle. Sadly, goodbye to these clogs for me. Otherwise would highly recommend these quality clogs. And Zappos is awesome!! Please- offer more wide shoes, with roomy toe box!

These are my 4th pair of this style of Dansko and i love them. Extremely comfortable, excellent support and cushioning. I wear them all day, every day, here and in Europe on vacation every year, they’re fantastic.

This is My second review . I’m over the moon. I have lot of Dansko clogs & Sanitas but so far this is the most comfortable amongst them . I’m inlove with them - waoh !! I’m A Nurse & helps a whole lot as I’m always on my feet . Thank God for Zappos

Dansko are the ONLY shoes myself, and my co-workers, wear. We work long, physically demanding hours at an upscale restaurant with cement floors. The front of the house staff ranges in age from 23-70; we "old gals" always convert the youngsters to Dansko, when we're running circles around them!

My other Dansko clogs fell apart after 25 years. I was happy to see they offer a narrow in these now. I purchased the 8.5-9 size and returned for the 7.5-8. They fit perfectly. I love the arch support also.I usually wear a size 8.5 but they were definitely a whole size too big. There is a pinky’s width between my heel and the back of the shoe with the smaller size which is what’s recommended. It’s great to have a shoe that’s easy on/off and still offers support.

I was very excited purchasing these shoes, the sleek shiny look really makes my uniform stand out! I work as a doorman and the comfort of these shoes are Amazing! Most times I work 10 hour shifts so comfort is very important to me and this purchase nailed it! Thanks guys......

These are true to size as described. My last patent ones were comfortable on day 1 and didn’t need to be broken in. These are comfortable initially when I put them on but, strangely enough, become tight across the top of my foot when I sit down. I have no issues standing or walking which I think is a bit strange. I’m hoping they loosen up soon and become just as comfortable as my last pair which lasted me for almost 8 years. Love the profession look that these shoes give!

Excellent, classic-style clog. Used by cooks and other hard-working people for decades. I love these because we get snow and mud around here and they are tall enough to keep my feet dry while easy to kick on and off. Caution for tall people with weak ankles -- it is easy to turn your foot over if you are not careful (women who wear heels will scoff at this).

I am a nurse and I just love the support these shoes give to someone who is on their feet all day. The run a bit big as I usually wear a 7.5 and the 6.5-7 fits me. These are thick leather and do take a little while to wear in. But my last pair lasted 15 years or so and I still even wear them for yardwork and stuff.

I'm usually a 7.5/8 and these are a perfect fit, the narrow style makes it even better. I used to wear these as a nurse and figured it was time to get a new pair to use for work for support and ease of disinfecting. They are better than I remember and provide great support and are very comfortable.

Love the support and NARROW size available here. Needed a plain durable shoe...finally got these after trying clarks naturalizer aerosoles. Will have to find a pair of thin non nylon socks when wear all day inside and outside.

These are my favorite work shoes for the last 10 years. I have gotten these exact same shoes at least 4 different times o we the years. Very comfortable, I am normally 8.5, but I get the size 9 (39). I am a Podiatrist and footwear is very important - no more heel pain, arch support is great in these shoes, as well as, rocker bottom sole!

I always order a size larger due to the tightness of the top of the shoe since they changed manufacturers. I have been wearing danskos for over 20 years, 5 days a week for 10 plus hours a day. Wouldn’t wear anything else.

I live in Texas and wanted a lighter color leather and sole for summer. The Taupe is perfect! I’ve worn Dansko clogs since graduating from college in the late 90s and they never disappoint. I have flat feet, plantar fasciitis and I broke my right foot about eight months ago which brought me full circle back to Dansko when I’m not in boots or running shoes. I wear a 7.5 regular width and the 38 is perfect. *If you buy them and they are tight, use shoe stretching spray and wear them until they dry with thick socks. Repeat until they are perfect for your feet!! I just wish they offered more clogs with the lighter sole. It looks ridiculous to wear black soled shoes with shorts in the Texas heat. I sprayed them to add water and dirt repellence due to the light color. I received them yesterday and first thing this morning, I sprayed them and started wearing them around the house.

I needed to update my current Dansko XP’s and decided on the black patent Dansko Professional. After reading the reviews, I decided to go for the next size up and wide width. They are the perfect fit and length, and have been perfect straight out of the box. No breaking in and comfortable. I hope they last as long as my previous pair.

You’re supposed to have a pinky’s width of space between your heel and the shoe heel. With that in mind, this is a perfect fit. I had to learn to walk in these. I wouldn’t wear them if I needed to be fast on my feet. They are a bit heavy. I wouldn’t walk around holding a newborn in these either, but they are perfect for the kitchen & cleaning. They’re kinda cute to wear out and about too.

Great work shoes, always size up if you are a half size.

Most kitchen clogs I try on tend to be too narrow for me so I was deliriously happy that Dansko offered a wide. The arch support is excellent and gives much needed comfort while baking in the kitchen. The only disappointment (and it's a slight one) was the brown color I ordered was a little darker than I wanted but as I stated before it's a very slight point. Will definitely order more in the future!
