I had to return the regular size for a wid with although my older pair of oiled navy do not have “wide” marked on the inside or on the box info that I had saved for reorder info! I have been wearing these Dansko shoes since the late ‘90’s and love them!

Can never go wrong ordering from Zappos. Quick and easy and easy return if needed. I have ordered/bought Dansko's for many years and never had an issue with the shoes. They start out being a little stiff and takes about a week to break in, but this pair I CANNOT get broke in. (I wear them every day and I have had them for over a month and I did order a wide shoe like I have in the past) The shoe has left me with a corn on my foot and sore feet. I have mink-oiled them to get them soft and nothing seems to help. I don't know if Dansko has a different company making them or what, but I am really disappointed in the shoes this time. I may need to bring them to a cobbler to get the shoes stretched or they will have to sit in my closet. Dansko is a really comfortable shoe and generally don't have any complaints.

I love the extra padding in the professional line. It is a perfect fit, with unsurpassed comfort and support ! Love them !!!

These are my 2nd pair and I love them. they are comfortable and a classic color/finish. Perfect with jeans or casual longer dress pants in the office. I wear them if I know I will need to do a lot of walking during the day.

I was intent on buying these but found the Sam style to be more comfortable. I wear a 7.5 wide. I found the top of the shoe to be too tight. Nothing wrong with — I have a high instep.

This shoe is perfect for my needs! Easy to slip on and off, yet, stays put when it's worn. Light, stable and very comfortable. I constantly receive compliments on how stylish and great it looks. Love this shoe!

I have several pairs of Dansko Professional clogs but needed a neutral color. The brown is perfect. They’re like brand new old friends.

These run small in my opinion...I typically wear a 9 regular width but those were too small so I had to order a 9.5 Wide and those fit beautifully. These are gorgeous btw...I ordered the black tooled leather...oh so pretty! I love the style and I could walk all day in them!

These are fabulous. I had a pair for about 10 years. Maybe more. I wore them winter spring and fall through rain etc. No problems. The thick sole let me get out of the car even when there was a BIG puddle and not get my feet wet. They always looked good, despite the beating I gave them. I wore them for walks up to about a mile or so with no problem... and once, on a trip, was stranded for days with these as my only shoes and they took me everywhere. They go with anything and everything. Finally, and weirdly, one heel had just "blown out" so I quickly ordered a replacement pair--exactly the same. And, they fit just like the old ones. They NEVER stretch out of shape and they NEVER get yucky looking. But... you do have to learn to get used to the different feel. And, they are not good for walking on uneven surfaces like gravel or cobblestones. Not for hiking in the woods. It's too easy to twist your ankle--which I've done a couple of times. But they are soooo comfortable and even good for your feet.

Love the shoes, fits my wide foot great! Had bunion surgery and needed a stable shoe. After breaking in the shoes, they are comfortable and support my foot well. I have a very high arch and arch support in these shoes are great.

At first it felt a lil' tight in the toes even though I had purchased them in 'Wide'. .....but after putting them on & walking about a bit they opened up & ARE AMAZING! My Persian beau LOVES the design & look!

I loved these, and tried them because of the recommendation of a nurse who used to work in a hospital who had these cure her knee and back pain. While I found them stylish and they fit well, I had to return them because my balance is poor and the heels made me feel unstable. I don't believe someone with normal balance would have an issue.

Dansko's gave me the ability to live and walk without pain in my feet. About Ten years ago I started having this terrible pain on top of my left foot I went to the Podiatrist he gave me a cortisone shot which hurt like nobody's business and it did not help. On my next appt. the Dr. told me he could do surgery without telling me what he would be doing surgery on or even diagnosing the cause of my pain. I left and never went back. The next Dr. wanted to make a $300 insert for my shoes ah no thanks. The next Dr. gave me a Rx for inflammation. While having a conversation with the Pharmacist about my situation she told me how her feet was giving her trouble due to standing all day and she started wearing Dansko's so while shopping with my daughter in a speciality store with my flat footed grandson I inquired about these shoes and the clerk made a good point she said " now you have to bring the ground up to you" I no longer can wear flats shoes. Since my first pair of Dansko's the pain subsided and they are my life line to pain free feet. I Thank God for whoever He blessed with the knowledge to make them. The arch support is critical to my feet. Mine usually last me for about a year but if I can I try to buy at least two pair so I can alternate them and not wear one pair all the time. So how do I feel about them. I can't live without them. I do get tired of the bulkiness from time to time but as long as I wear them all week if I want to put on a nice lady shoe and step out one night I can do that but then it's back to my Dansko.

We gave this shoe to our Home Health Care Nurse Practioner and she said that these shoes are the best thing that has happened to in a long time. The fit and width as perfect in fact they felt like the shoes were custom made for her. Sarah comments on the style and durability and she told us that theses shoes are going to be recommend to all her Nursing Staff thought the company.

I love Danskos and have at least 8 pairs in my rotation. I was a little nervous ordering these since some of the reviews mentioned that these were narrow, but I did not find that to be the case. It is true that there is some variability in fit with Danskos (I have a black patent pair that is a little too tight and squeaks,too) but I got two nice roomy pairs. I got the black tooled and the stone burnished. The burnished pair do have a bit of a delicate finish. They scratch easily, but so far I've been able to rub out the scratches with my finger.

The Professionals are the perfect shoe if you spend a lot of time standing

I've been wearing Dansko professional clogs for years. This is my 8th pair. I work in the medical profession and spend 10-12 hour shifts standing on concrete flooring. They are the only shoes that don't leave my legs feeling fatigued at the end of the day. Right out of the box these clogs are firm, supportive, and fit snugly.

Beautiful shoes, very comfortable, and well worth the price.

Danskos are the best! I bought my first pair 17 years ago and they just gave out last month! This time around, I purchased a Professional in 'Cordovan Cabrio' (the same color I've had for 17 years), a Professional in 'Distressed Honey' and an XP 2.0 in Brown Pull Up. I must admit that the XP 2.0's are extremely comfortable...yes, even more comfortable than the Professionals. However, I am not in the health care profession, and alas, I must be a little more vain than I thought, because I just don't like the shape of the toe on the XP 2.0. The Professional has that perfectly round "snub-nosed" toe that is so cute with jeans and the XP 2.0 does not...it just looks a little more like an old lady shoe than the Professional. So, the XP's are going back. Don't get me wrong...if I was on my feet for 12 hours a day the XP 2.0's would be the way to go...no questions asked! But...Dansko, why do we have to sacrifice cuteness for comfort? Can't you make the XP 2.0's as cute as the Professionals? And, in case you're thinking of purchasing a Professional, they are plenty comfortable, so go for it! A note about size...the Cordovan Cabrio color in a 40 (the size I had for 17 years) is snug around the middle of my foot (where there's that little padded band). The Distressed Honey in a 40 is super loose and fits more like my old worn-in pair. I think I'm going to have to return the Cordovan Cabrios for a 41 and see if that helps. Like other reviewers have said, the sizing on these is all over the place! If the 41 does not work, I may keep the 40 and try to stretch that part out. It's so snug that it cuts my circulation off. The Distressed Honey pair does not do that at all, and there's a bit more room in the heel too...almost like it's a size 40.5 or a 41...hmmm...

This is my first pair of Danskos and I am very pleased with them. Purchased to wear in the hospital as a medical professional. Extremely comfortable. Love the height. Was worried about sizing since I have quite a narrow, size 8 foot and went with the size 38 in the normal width. Plenty of toe box room, easy to walk in. Can't wait for my next pair!
