Well, I guess I should title the review "my daughter loves this jacket" since I bought it for her, but I love it, too. I was a little worried about the possibility of the jacket shedding because other reviewers mentioned that issue. It appears that North Face has fixed the problem because we've not experienced any fuzz/lint from the Osito jacket. It's the SOFTEST fabric and quite warm, and the slim fit makes it ideal for layering under other jackets. I'm certain that my daughter will be able to wear it for years, as long as it fits her. The XS fits my daughter well; she's 13 and has a slender build, and is typically a size 0 in clothing. The sleeves and overall length are a little bit long but that's okay because she'll grow into it. I don't need another jacket, otherwise I'd buy one for myself!

I was incredibly excited to finally get this jacket. I initially had black and experienced a lot of shedding AFTER it's initial wash. The sizing on it was funky, the arms were too short and it fit very snug, it was definitely wearable but I was a bit unhappy with the size. After a couple weeks it looked awful. Everything got stuck to it and the fleece was coming off on the inside. I went back to the store and exchanged it for another jacket since the black one appeared to be defective. When I purchased another it was MUCH larger than the black and I had to exchange that for a S instead of a M. The arms fit great and the overall fit is superior. I did notice that the new jacket had the cinch whereas the previous jacket did not, it also lacked the arm hooks. I'm now convinced that the original jacket was defective. I am incredibly happy with the replacement jacket and I can't wait until it warms up enough to hang up the Apex Elevation and wear my Osito again. Overall a superb product. I will be purchasing another in the very near future, but I will avoid buying it in black again.

I recently bought this after coveting it for quite a while. (In fact, I bought one for my daughter for Christmas then went back and bought one for myself.) I wore it on vacation shortly after I bought it and was amazed at how toasty it kept me in all sorts of weather. We even went out in some nasty wet weather, and I stayed dry and warm. The jacket itself seems lightweight, and I'd never guess that it'd keep me warm in temperatures south of 40. I used the size advisor and bought the medium, and I'm glad I did. It is slightly roomy, but allows for a sweater underneath. I am 5'8" and 137 lbs.

I love this jacket! I have had a black Oso Hoodie for about 3 years now, love that jacket. Only issue is it matted, HOWEVER, they are guaranteed for life! So I sent in, through the NF store here, and they replaced it. :) I love love love my Lavendula Osito, It is so cute, the color is awesome, just like the picture, so soft, and warm! They do not do as well with severe wind, but otherwise YEAH! I have a white scarf from NF the I use with it, where o' where is the matching gloves and scarf! :( You might need a larger size if you don't like a snugger fit. I don't mind, as I don't usually wear heavy tops under it, like a sweater or sweatshirt.

This was a Christmas gift for my 20 year old daughter and she loved it!!! I love Nortface jackets and actually bought 4 this year as gifts.

I absolutely LOVE this jacket. It has great quality for how thin & light it is - I live in Colorado where we have such a variety of weather on any given day & this jacket is my 'go-to", it suits most conditions. I love that I can throw it on over whatever I'm wearing without the added bulk & restricted feeling you get with big jackets but I still stay warm. I can't say enough about the color combo, the BC awareness touches on it are gorgeous. I found that the sizing on the website it fairly accurate, I ordered a small & I was worried because I wanted it to fit but not to be too tight as I would obviously have clothes on underneath my jacket. A small ended up being perfect for me - I am 5'3" & about 117 lbs. & I wear my jacket with just about everything. It's a little pricey but you won't be disappointed, you get what you pay for & North Face has quality products.

i love it! It's perfect! Although their ' XS ' is comparable to a ' S ' on my bodyframe 5"0 99lbs but it's really roomy!! I hope they will make an XXS so i can purchase that in the Osito jacket! ilove it1

I bought this for my granddaughter who thinks it is the best. This is her second North Face and this is better. Her other "collects" strands of her long hair and needs to be de-linted often.

Jacket was shipped in a timely fashion. This is a gift for my sister-in-law - I think she will love it!

I am 5'0" and weigh from 100-105 pounds. I wear a size 24 or 25 in jeans (or size 00 to 0). The XS is even a little bit large on me. I could have gone with a kid's x-large, but was afraid the arms would be too short. The waist on these jackets are pretty snug but stretch well. It's perfect for me but might be tight if you wear a size 2-4. The chest area is great. Plenty of room, maybe too much even. (I am a 32 C) The other reviews that say that these jackets run small are NOT ACCURATE. I always wear XS or XXS in shirts. This is very true to size. North Face did a great job on these jackets and how they fit. It's also comparable to any other North Face product you already have. I own another jacket that is XS, so I went with the same size. Great jacket. Perfect sizing.

I've always wanted a north face. The denali seems too manly for me, this osito gives the perfect amount of femininity. It's so warm and soft and fuzzy, I can't go anywhere without it. Everyone compliments me on it; it's a great buy! Money well spent!!

I was extremely pleased with your service and the quick shipping of the Osito Jacket. I think it will be my new favorite. I love the silver color and the tapered style. It is so soft and warm without being bulky. My son and daughter-in-law both have North Face Jackets and they encouraged me to try it. Not sorry! Love it!

I totally adore this jacket!! This is the softest and surprisingly warm little jacket! It is much more cozy than the regular fleece-like North Face jacket and I love this steel blue/grey color! I wear xxl, and I am usually an 18/20 in clothing, so I was so happy to get this in my size because the retail brick and mortar stores never ever have my size. I will be back for more colors!!

My granddaughter picked this jacket out for Christmas, so it is wrapped under the tree, but I know she is so excited to get it. She looked at the package the other day to make sure it was there. The color is so pretty and I can't wait to give it to her.

My husband bought me this jacket 2 years ago and I practically live in it. It's soft and warm. Actually it's so warm that I wear it as my winter coat (Ohio winters can get quite cold) and it keeps me toasty. After 2 years and many, many washings, it still looks great and has held up. My only complaint is that it's a little too short. It's not bulky and allows for lots of movement.

This is an excellent jacket to help keep you warm! I love the fact that it is so soft. However it does shed but I really don't let that bother me. I am looking at ordering some others in different colors.

I ordered a large and I am glad I did! I am 5'5 and around 125ish lbs! When you wear thicker sweaters the extra room is great! I also ordered one in brown but a medium and it fits well also but no room for bulky sweaters! People will touch you all the time when your wear your jacket!!!

I was sooo happy when I received my jackets! They are amazing and the colors are so much prettier than I ever imagined! I would definitely be purchasing another one soon!

This is my second purchase of this jacket, because it so comfortable and comes in lots of colors. It can be used by itself or as a layer underneath another jacket. Get lots of compliments on it and love the lavender trim, add just the right touch to the jacket.

Love this jacket! I also love that you can get plus sizes online! You don't ever see plus sizes in stores. This is my go to jacket now!!

I love my TNF Osito jacket! It is super warm and doesn't feel heavy. I cannot wait to purchase several other colors. I'm usually a XL but I went with the size advisor that recommended a XXL because of my hips and sure it enough, it fits great!
