Upper part of sneaker where lace holes are you can see material or lining between the layers - not sewed or glued properly! Disappointed as I bought these before and they were made properly!

The foot bed was uncomfortable and seemed poorly constructed.

Very comfy, very homely - these shoes are the same width from the front to the back, which looks a little like you're wearing boats. My brother happened to be hanging out and told me I looked like the abbess of a nunnery. So back they go, as that was not the look I was going for. :)

These were more like an 8 1/2 and huge in the toe and tight around my arch. They just didn't fit and they were big and boxy like orthopedic shoes. Nothing delicate about them. I wear an 8 so I ordered an 8 but them ordered an 8 1/2 because several reviews said to size up 1/2 a size. I haven't received them yet but I can already tell you they are going back.

Oh, how I really wanted to love this shoe! I am on a somewhat desperate search for a new walking shoe since New Balance had to discontinue my favorite for the past 7 years, the 660 and 661. The 877 is so pretty (blue is my favorite color), and it is getting harder and harder to find decent New Balance walking shoes (have you noticed how there are fewer options in all brands, and everything is these uber-cushioned running shoes? TERRIBLE for walkers.) Anyway, I gave this shoe 3 stars overall because it was well-made and attractive, even though it did not work for my set of feet.
Positives: Attractive, wide toe box, sufficient cushioning, walking strike path, price.
Negatives: No arch support, end of heel hit me right in the middle of my heel, heel too high compared to forefoot which pitched me forward, toe box too deep, which left a lot of extra fabric to move around with every step.
The negatives ultimately left me to return this shoe. I am very grateful to Zappos and their generous return policy with free shipping, which allows people like me with very picky and painful feet to try a shoe essentially risk free.

Shoe much wider than any other wide shoe of the same brand I've had. Laces way too long. Tongue was unusually short not allowing all eyelets to be used.Did not look as good as photo in catalog.

Looked rather cheap. No arch support. Fit fair. I think New Balance has, perhaps, lapsed in its quality.

I have a narrow foot, 2A, and New Balance used to be my go-to brand. Not anymore. These were too wide and the heels slip. I was hoping to find a good walking shoe, but will be sticking with my Mizuno running shoes. They fit so much better and are overall more comfortable.

Needed sturdy shoes & these were billed as such, but didn't feel like it. A little flimsy feeling. Looks were good, but had to return them.

The look is perfect but not enough protection inside. Very hard my feet hurts after a few hours. I am looking for shoe inserts to add to it. Unfortunately not what i was expecting. I do work long hrs at a ER Lab and i need something comfortable.

These shoes were a bit 'sloppy' on my skinny feet. I have worn NB in the past and been satisfied but this time I chose an Asics.

I was optimistic about these shoes. They definitely were wide enough at last! I ordered a 7.5 EE. And they were actually cuter than the pictures, not as old ladyish as I thought they'd be. However, an inside seam rubbed against my bunion and once my orthotics were in it was worse. I also could not see these as a replacement to my Brooks Adrenalines, they seemed more of a casual walker. Sad that these didn't work.

The color is nice. The shoe is super wide looking, fits a bit loose. It just is too fat looking to me.

Wanted width across bunion area but this shoe is totally U shaped over the toe box. My little toe is not as long as my big toe!! Looks very orthopedic and unnecessarily boxy. Actually too wide: unusual for me.

These sneakers look like they are well made, and they are comfortable, However, they did not seem to me to be what a younger person might wear. But give them a try. You may not agree with my perception.

I hesitate to enter my review after reading other glowing reviews. I have a short wide foot and this style was not flattering. It made my foot look twice as wide. The comfort was OK, but this is not a style for me. I have regretfully returned my purchase. .

These shoes fit wide around the toe and front of the foot. I like a tighter fit on my foot, but these will be fine for casual wear. I couldn't wear a larger size because my toe is at the end. It just has more of a rounded toe than most athletic shoes. I don't think I could walk vigorously or work out in them. I will probably need to wear a thicker sock. If you have a wide foot, you would probably really like these shoes.

Since I need to wear athletic shoes for comfort I also neeb a shoe as attractive as I can find. This shoe was a subdued color and would look better with dress slacks rather than some shoe tha t contained a wild color. I buy New Balance always, they are well made in Americca, and I can find the bid toe box and depth to fit my orthotic. Zappos is a great company for me since I cannot shop in stores easily.
This shoe is not as comfortable but to wear for short times and look a little better, it works.

The fit was fair, but it did provide much support. Sizing seemed true. If the colors and styling were a little more interesting, I might have kept these as a backup shoe.

Nice wide toe box for my 10WW feet but my comparatively narrow heels slip too much so must return these. In their favor, they do provide good support, and the gray color looks good on because it kind of blends into the background; sometimes you want blinding white or wildly colored sneakers but sometimes you don't and these are a little more discreet.
