These shoes have the best toe box ever! My size had been back ordered so I tried a different style and sent them back, tried the next size up in these and sent back, then my size finally came. They are wide everywhere, almost annoyingly so around the heel, but I laced the way-too-long laces tight and decided to keep them. Oh my, after a weekend away of walking and gentle hiking, happy toes and happy toenails! I am not sure how they will hold up and they are not exactly a go with everything color, but I am considering putting in an order for another pair right away rather than risk the style being discontinued. :o)

A bunion operation over a year ago left me in pain with each step, orthotics or no, until i tried the NB 877s. Bought a second pair, love 'em. Fit the orthotics perfectly, can walk faster (poodle is happy for that!) and longer. They look snappy, too!

For the last few years I have had trouble finding a walking shoe that doesn't make my feet and/or legs hurt from my fitness walking. The $150 shoes worked but I really don't want to have to spend that much on shoes that are worn out after 9 months. I hope I will be happy with these shoes in a few months. The toe box is a bit wider, or more square than shoes I have had in the past but they are extremely comfortable and I like the way they look.

My feet don't adapt well to shoes, especially sneakers, but these fit. And fit well! My usual size is 9 or 9 1/2. I followed the advice to order up - and these fit and are maybe a tad large at 9 1/2. (I plan to wear them with socks.) Most importantly, the Wide width is seriously wide. These sneakers ain't cute little shoes. They look wide. At first, I was repelled by their chunky look but decided I deserved the same rights as men: to own a comfortable sneaker with room enough to wiggle my toes. I put them on and was not tempted to remove them. My feet feel good because I finally have sneakers that fit. I apologize for writing this before I have some serious mileage on them, but I'm too excited about my new sneakers to wait.

Good fit, nice color, lightweight....very comfortable..good all around shoe for summer

Extremely comfortable shoe. Runs slightly small but my usual size did fit. Only complaint is if I wear sneaker socks, they slide down into the shoe. Tape in the back did not help. Must wear an anklet.

These are the best walking shoes I've ever had. I think it's because the "toe box" is wider than usual. They are great!

I tried and returned three other athletic shoes -- then these arrived and were perfect. Handled my 3/8's heel lift with ease, cradled my Mortons neuroma and have worn them every day since. Would buy more colours if available!

Just got them and wore them for a 3 mile walk -- very comfortable. But I noticed within a 1 or 2 minutes of walking that both shoes pull my ankle sock into the shoe. These are my standard sock for walking with other NB shoes (They are Puma socks from Costco.) I may try adding some tape to the inside of the shoe's heel to reduce traction. Otherwise a keeper.

Felt wonderful the minute I put them on. Wide enough even at the toe. Like walking on air. Bought my sister a pair and even she found them comfortable. No break in period required!
