I returned the shoe for the 847 which is supposed to have an improved heel support and more effective absorbtion.

I really wanted another pair of MW644GR shoes but could not find them. Perhaps they are no longer made. The New Balance 877 shoes (in the same size as the 644's I have) do not fit as well. The front part of the shoe is not as sturdy, and the tread does not grip as well. I was disappointed.

Bought item in Jan 2019. Wore shoes only occasionally under moderate conditions (no hiking or work use). After 9 months toe cap stitching unraveled on both shoes. Was on travel at time and these were only shoes I had at the time. Bought some 5 minute epoxy to repair leather to fabric separation. Not pretty but was able to get by. Would not repurchase.

shoes fit, but on one shoe the seams are 'ragged' and the heel has already come apart...so, superglue. the material on the top of the other shoe looks as though it was repaired or the shoe is a 'second'. too much trouble to return, no need to complain further. on-line buyer beware.

Frankenstein shoes. Just a big clodding type shoe. Difficult to judge the comfort as both length and width are huge. One full size too long and too big on width. Looks to have been designed in Transylvania as no style at all.

ugly, clunky looking, picture does not accurately portray these shoes. Seem cheaply made.

Maybe my feet have grown but tees feel much tighter than my old size 10s, particularly across the front

If you've never worn running shoes, the 877 may be for you; as a long-time runner and sporadic walker, I found the 877 to have minimal cushioning in addition to being heavy and stiff. I'll stick with running shoes when I go for a walk. I returned the 877s for a refund.

I found the 877 toe-strike to be very soft, and the overall support of the shoe to be adequate at best. I added a Spenco insole, which helps with the heal-strike, but not the toe. If you walk a lot, the NB 847 (I've gone through several pairs) is a far superior walking shoe, despite the increased cost.

I have had NB for years. Last year I bought 3 pair because 1. The stitching let go within a month on all three. I am not big (170 lbs) 2. Two pairs soles peeled off within 3 months. The last pair is the final NB I will ever buy. I suggest looking at Merrills. Wore my last pair almost everyday for over 1 year and still going strong.

this was the 3rd try of getting a pair of these shoes which are both the same size. All 3 pairs had the right shoe at least 1/2 size smaller than the left

Just received. Website very clearly states "Proudly Assembled in USA". Not true unless USA is a city in Vietnam. Last NB shoes I'll buy.

The web site clearly says Assembled in USA, so I waited 6 mos. until they had my size. They came today, and they say Made in Vietnam. Last pair of New Balance anything that I ever purchase.

In dress shoes, I wear size 9 1/2 D, so I ordered the NB 877 in size 10 as suggested by the L.L. Bean website. When they arrived, the shoes seemed to fit okay and felt comfortable. But soon I noticed slight vertical creases where the fiber connects to the toe cap. The more I wore these shoes, the more the creases showed up. Finally, on the left shoe the fiber pulled away from the toe cap at one spot and I stopped wearing them. In the "fit" section of this review, I marked that they were a half size too small, but I really don't know what caused the the tear.

When searching for Women's shoes there is no reason that men's shoes should show side by side. The color I wanted was not available in wide, however the nest icon with same number was and I failed to notice the ww changed to mw. your filters are not functioning correctly.

I could not use the shoes and had to return them. I ordered a size 14. When I got them, I found that my toes hit the end of the shoe. Either it was mismarked for the size, or they run small. I only put my foot in them and stood up. I didn't bother walking in them. I put them back in the box and sent them back. I considered ordering another pair one size larger. But I was concerned as to whether I could use my orthotics even in the larger size. Phil

Total junk shoes, wothlesss, waste of HARD-EARNED money. Wore a hole in the top of the shoe after wearing for just 4 weeks to work. Could’ve spent $15 at Walmart on junk shoes for the way these lasted. Do not purchase. So disappointed in New Balance. I will never buy this brand again. Ever.
