I ordered a size 11W, that is what I wear. This shoe Asics Gel Nimbus 16 was too tight. It did not fit like a wide.

A pretty shoe, but way too small even in the wide width. I wish shoe sizes were more consistent. These will go back. Will try another brand more than likely.

I have worn the 15 for years, loved them. My last pair was wearing out so I thought I would try these. Absolutely no cushioning. I would take a walk in the 16's and my knees and hips would start to hurt. I went back to my worn out 15's until I can find a different shoe to buy, these were terrible.

Just letting all know that the light blue on the shoe is patent leather. It is a very heavy bulky shoe and narrow. I have a pair of Asics that fit great and thought I would have no problem buying mail order but sadly they are going back. I could not tie them and I rarely ever have any issues with width.

I agree with anonymous and clygirl. I loved the 15, I hate the 16. I wish I had read the reviews before spending the money. Not happy.

These shoes felt almost a full size too small. Also, they were not at all flexible nor did they have any cushioning worth mentioning. Sadly, they're going back despite their snappy style.

These shoes were a huge disappointment. I have been wearing Asics for over 20 years and have bought many variations of their running shoes. I always wear an 8.5 M in their shoes. Based on reviews here, I ordered both an 8.5 and a 9. I am glad that I did. The toe box in this shoe is more narrow that most asics running shoes. The 8.5 seemed shorter and tighter than other models of their running shoes. The 9's fit fine but were too long so the arch did not hit in the right location for the proper support. Overall, I would skip this one and try another model until they figure out what is wrong with this shoe.

These felt so cushy and comfy at first, but then after walking in them a few times, I felt like they were way too cushy. My calves and hips ached after walks. My whole body feels thrown off balance when I wear them.

I ordered the asics gel nimbus 15 and the newer version, 16. Old version, which I have and own and love was infinitely more comfy than the new version, 16. The 16 felt like a hard cardboard sole and generally not as cushioned as the old version. Thankfully, the old version was also available, ow, asics would have lost me as a customer.

It seems the Gel Nimbus has gone the way of its competition: a flat, duckish shoe with no arch support and not enough structure to give it any shelf life. It seems cheap and flimsy. I went back to the Nimbus after the Brooks Ghost and Nike Pegasus. it seems like they're the just like Brooks now. Awful! I liked the Nimbus 12 the best!

Do not buy this version if you are a fan of Gel Nimbus! Total waste of money! I have worn Gel Nimbus for over 5 years - same size - this one is too tight in the toe box and across mid foot and has minimal cushioning in fore foot. It is not at all like previous versions. I thought I had mistakenly ordered narrow - but just really poor modifications made by Asics for this one. I wore it for one 6 mile run -flare up of both shin pain and plantar fasciitis pain - had to get out the ice and tennis ball. Shame on Asics for calling it the same shoe!

I loved the feel of this shoe and enjoyed wearing it. Until my little toes started poking through the netting. I have wide feet with high arches and enjoyed the cushioning and good arch support in this model. However, in about 6 months, the netting over my left little toe has sprung a hole. A month later, the right side was doing the same thing. After 8 months, they are unwearable because the holes allow my toes to escape. No, the dogs don't chew on my shoes. No, I was not training in them. No, I was not abusing them. Yes, I always wear socks. I've had Sauconies that have lasted five years as walking-around shoes after getting me through training for a couple of marathons. I wore them until there was no tread left on the bottoms. So, imagine my surprise that these are unwearable after eight months. Considering the price and the top-rated manufacturer, I expected better.

Rubbish running shoes Asics! Have worn Asics Gel Nimbus for several years and have always found them comfortable straight out of the box. Not these! Have always worn a half size bigger than my true size but even a half size bigger does not feel right. Initial short run they were bearable. Second run, I have rubbed and blistered toes. Very disappointed, wish I could get hold of last year's 15 model.

After 6 years of running, many races and a half marathon, only wearing Gel Nimbus I am extremely disappointed. After I have a small foot so finding running shoes my size has been a great challenge. I have gone on 2 runs wearing the 16 and my feet have gone completely numb! On both accounts I had to stop and walk home (which was also uncomfortable). Sadly the hunt is on for a new shoe.

I really wish Asics would make a D width truly a wide width shoe. I've been wearing Nimbus Gels since I started running four years ago and every model gets smaller and smaller in the toe box. Four years ago I wore normal width and now the D width won't work.
