Awesome - I'm a Physical Therapist and wear a size 12 in dress shoes. Supposed to go up 1/2 - 1 whole size for gym shoes, and I was able to order this in a 12.5. Perfect for my shoe insert, so if you have one, this shoe is something to consider. (I have a metartarsal pad). You want a neutral stride shoe (like this) so different orthotics' supports don't "fight" the support of a stability shoe. Low heel. Lightweight. Feminine. Good trainer shoe. I love wearing these shoes to the gym. Makes my workout more exciting after a day of already being on my feet!

Love these shoes. I am on my feet all day and these are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. This is my second pair to purchase.

I tried this shoe on and it must have been placed in the wrong box. It was labeled wide but felt like a medium. I ordered it because my daughter loves it for comfort so was disappointed when it did not fit.

This is my second pair of Asics shoes. I was having some back problems about 2 years ago, and my legs would ache at the end of the day. Since I have been wearing these shoes, I have no problems at all. Love them! This is the only walking shoe that I will get from now on.

I'm a semi-serious runner (about 15 miles a week, I run a half marathon twice a year), and I was looking for a new pair of Asics to replace the pair I had worn into the ground during my last bout of training. I have a naturally high arch, and I don't like anything too structured. I also really love a light running shoe. I was looking to replace my Asics GEL-Noosa Tri 8, which I have been wearing for about a year and a half. I really liked the Gel Noosa, but I was looking for something with a bit more cushion and support. The Gel Nimbus 16 fit the bill - I immediately noticed the cushioning and my foot felt supported without being overly structured. These sneakers did not need any breaking in time, but my toes did go a little bit numb during my first full run. After breaking down a little, that problem has now resolved itself. I highly recommend these sneakers, particularly if you are an Asics fan!

Great shoe. I am a little overweight right now so I noticed that my 10 and 1/2 medium width brooks running shoes have started to get a little tight for me to wear comfortably, but what I like about this Asics Gel Nimbus 16 shoe is that it is just wide enough for me and not as wide as let's say a New Balance wide that I would swim in. I bought these shoes for indoor walk aerobics and after a workout that runs for 100 minutes and the balls of my feet barely hurt, you know you have a great shoe. Give it a try from Zappos and you can't go wrong. Cheers!

I have been an X-Ray Tech. and walked on concrete for 30 years. I probably could have retired on the amount and number of shoes I purchased trying to find a pair that I could get through the day without cramps in my feet, etc. I finally found the Asics Gel Nimbus LE approximately 2 years ago. I fell in love with them!! So there was no question what shoes I would order for my next pair. I also love these shoes. My orthotics fit perfectly in the shoes. And by the way, my first pair of Asics are still in great shape. I just wanted a new pair!

Love this shoe. I have terrible metatarsalgia. And my foot is narrow. Im 60. Best shoe for comfort other than flip flops.

Correction: I wrote that the pink shoe made black marks - well, I am wrong! Our fitness club put new belts on the treadmills. I figured out today that the black belt is rubbing off on the shoe! Love the shoe!

Love the shoe - white 8300024- also bought the pink. It has a black sole. The pink shoes are one month old and are ONLY worn in the gym. The black sole is rubbing off on everything! This does not happen with the white. I am contacting Asics. Love the white shoe.

Best shoes ever! I need a lot of cushioning and support! I've tried many shoes and finally bought (2) pair of these! Thanks Zappos for the customer service, no doubt the best!!

Like pillows for your feet! I am so happy with these shoes. It took me forever to find the right sneaker with lots of comfort and great shock absorption, and these definitely do the job. They are a bit bulky and I wish they came in more color options, but the way they feel on your feet makes these shoes so worth the money.

I am very disappointed with this shoes. I have worn Asics for as long as I can remember and this style...where's the gel? Ran in them 4 times and my knees were so sore. went back to my old Asics until I can find another brand that is cushioning.

These shoes are unbelievable. The gel makes you feel like you can walk forever. Didn't know how much difference the gel would make. I was able to put them on and start walking. There was no break in period. I usually wear a 9, but got a 9 1/2 and the fit is perfect.

A few years ago I switched from another brand to Asics. I've never looked back. My girlfriend also endorsed Asics and persuaded me to the Nimbus16. She had one of the older versions. After trying them out I called her and said order these! She did and loves them also.

I absolutely love the Asics Gel Nimbus 16 shoes! I have been buying Asics running shoes for many years. I used to wear the GT 2000s and then the Gel Kayanos, which are both fantastic shoes. Recently, a bone spur developed on my fourth metatarsal, due to a foot problem that I was born with. It was in dealing with my foot issue that I discovered the Gel Nimbus has a touch wider outside edge which helps to support my foot. I think the cushioning is awesome. They were comfortable from the moment I out them on. I absolutely love these shoes. I could not be more pleased. I have already ordered two more pairs: one in the same color I ordered originally and a second pair in another color!

I used to love my Asics Nimbus unconditionally (yes, the 14) - but this one has a problem just under the balls of my feet. First I thought my socks are wrong or there's a stone in them, but after a while I realized that it is something in the cushioning of the sole. I'll keep them since I've already run quite some rounds in them, and overall they are fine, but the sole has been better.

I'm a slight under pronator and have trained & ran a 10K in Brooks Pure Flow 3's. I thought I loved these shoes because they were so comfortable and light but I've had pain in my knee joints which require me to ice after every run. I took my Gel Nimbus 16 out for a 10K run and had no knee pain. I did, however, experience a little toe numbness even though my laces weren't as tight as I would normally wear them. I also adjusted them half way through my run. I'm hoping I'll figure out the best way to tie these to get rid of the numbness because I'm just happy to get rid of the knee pain.

I am an Asics fan, and have run in the Nimbus for several years. The 15s were the best by far, so I looked forward to the 16s. Unfortunately, something has changed... So narrow that even a wide width barely fits. I can't wear these on long runs without numbness and foot pain. Very disappointing - if the 17s are the same, I may try Brooks Glycerin.

I am a marathoner and have been running in the Nimbus for many years. I have been through dozens of pairs, many different versions. I have always worn a size 7 in this shoe (half a size up from my normal 6.5). After suffering from bizarre toe numbness with these 16s, I eventually tried a size 7.5. It still feels a little narrow and short (even with a funky lacing pattern), but it's much better than the size 7. What's up with that, Asics?

These are great shoes , tried Brooks adrenaline as the boulder running put me in and hated them. So went back to the truty Nimbus but had to get wides because since Nimbus 12 they have gotten narrower, training for a half marathon and these have been great ,y feet don't get a sachet as the brooks and are so cushioned.

Nice cushioning. I had to reorder a 1/2 size larger. Also, seemed narrower than most Asics.

I have been ordering the Gel Nimbus shoes for years and was disappointed that the style has changed enough that they don't fit. There is a bar across the top front that doesn't allow that area to stretch so I couldn't even get my foot all the way in the shoe

This was my first pair of Asics shoes. I loved the look, arch support and cushioning of the shoe. I returned it because the shoe was too tight across the top of my foot. I tried my normal size, and up half a size. Neither was comfortable across the top of my foot. I was bummed - I did like the shoe, it just wasn't comfortable.
