I loved these and then after the 5th time I wore them they split down the back seam on the rt shoe and the heel started tearing off on the left shoe. Contacted Chooka directly and they were very unhelpful and rude. Will never buy Chooka again. Cheap quality.

I had to return my original order b/c it was half size too big. They are pretty comfortable and well structured. I wore them to a muddy dog park for a few hours and they were perfect for it. They are pretty narrow and can't be tight if you put them on after a long day (and your feet are swollen). I wouldn't recommend wearing them for more than 2 hours or so unless you get some good socks on an insert. They are rain boots after all.

These are super cute. The Hunter shorts were too bulky around the ankles for me, so I found these are they are perfect! Watch out for the rivets though...I ordered the tall an the shorts, and they seem to come out pretty easy. I'm short (5 5/1/2) and have very athletic calves. Boot shopping for me was a nightmare. Glad I was able to find these!

i'm really disappointed in these. i typically wear a 9 but i have a high instep (top of the foot) so i buy a 9w for the extra space. i tried the 9s in these in the black (non gloss). they arrived in absolutely terrible condition with scratches and deep rivets all over. they looked like dogs fought over them for hours prior to shipment. i seriously can't believe a manufacturer would put something out like this to be honest and i've never had issues with zappos sending me shoes in poor condition before. zappos was awesome as always and handled it immediately. i ordered a different brand and style and they didn't fit my high instep either (even tried two different sizes, the bigger being way too big). so i decided to go back to these and this time got the navy gloss in a size 10. the fit nicely (so if you have a wide foot and/or high arch and/or high instep, go up a size if your regular size is too snug). the navy gloss is much cuter (the black matte looked like the galoshes the terrifying villians wear in campy teen horror films). however, these have scratches, deep rivets and some really odd rough splotches that look like paint dripped all over them. i'm keeping them because they're the only option for my high instep feet but i'm not that happy about it. i don't feel like getting more pairs from zappos to see if any come in decent condition either because i already used up my one "quick exchange before shipping bad pair back" with this purchase. so i'd have to buy another pair and ship these and wait to be refunded. honestly, shame on chooka. these are not cheap. if my feet fit hunters i would gladly pay double for hunters because at least they are made well. i'm floored no one else has mentioned this about the condition of the rubber. it can't be a coincidence that both pairs i received are in poor condition. i know scratches and rivets happen over time, but they shouldn't arrive new like this. i'm being generous giving them 2 stars. i love the color and the gloss (1 star) and they fit (1 star).

These boots are wonderful for women with big calves. They have a strap to extend the size even bigger. I can't wait for more rain so I can wear my rain boots!!

These boots are really comfortable. Great protection from puddles on a rainy day. I have received lots of compliments when I have worn them. They felt a little big at first, but with a thick sock they fit perfect. I wear a size 8 and that is the size that I have. I am really happy with them. They are a good value.

These are cute but unfortunately for me they do not come in half sizes I wear 7½ so I ordered an 8 and they are bigger then I would like. Maybe I should have tried a 7. However they will accommodate thick socks.

I absolutely love these boots. They keep my feet dry but are comfortable to run errands in. I am short and so tall boots look silly on me. These are the perfect height and so cute on.

Very stylish and comfortable. My calves are a little large and these are perfect. Much more stylish than the regular black rubber boot. Love them!

Love these rain boots! I chose 1/2 size up, as I wear with socks. I purchased low because I need the wider shaft. They are very comfortable, I never want to switch to my work shoes!

Cute, comfortable and priced great. These boots look great with leggins and skinny jeans. I've only worn them for show, not really in the mud, but they look great on a rainy day.

Discovering this boot marked the end of my relentless struggle to find a boot to look great and fit my wide foot and wide calf (16"). I am only 5'2 and every standard boot was too high and too narrow in the calf. This boot leaves room to tuck in jeans as well as just slips on and off. It is adorable as well. I wear a pretty standard size 8B, and settled on the 7. Honestly wish there was a 7 1/2. But I will probably not be wearing thick socks and the 8 was ginormous. By the way, the Hunter Short and Huntress were still too narrow in the calf, tho I loved them. So happy to have found the Chooka Top Solid Mid Gloss.

As a big calf wide width gal, it's so hard when you want a rain boot that isn't too high - since your calf is big and gets too snug, and high enough to look cool and be able to put your pant in them. Well, found them! This boot is everything. I'm an 11W and although says M width, totally perfect. And my pants fit with plenty of room. So happy - would love in many more colors.

Love these boots! They run big though. I always wear a size 8, but had to exchange them for a size 7.

I spent ages looking for rain boots that would fit my athletic calves. None of the various brands "wide calf" boots would fit so I had to choose a shorter boot shaft. These do work and I've worn them a few times and they keep out the rain. My only negative is that the sole insert in the boot doesn't stay put and by the time I get to work, it's halfway up the back of my leg (with my foot just on the footbed of the boot). I might try to stick the sole down with double-stick tape.

These boots are exactly what I was looking for! Didn't want standard black but wanted the flexibility to wear with many outfits and still coordinate and these did the job. The top is wide enough to accomodate jeans and pants but not too big to seem bulky. Price was perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the insole that I actually just took out. It wasn't secured to the boot, just placed inside and every time I took my foot out, it came out as well. Not that big an issue for me so I'm giving these boots 5 stars.

Love these! They are a little big as I am usually a 7.5, but got the 8 since half sizes were not an option. I had some insoles I wasn't using, so with those they fit perfectly! Great for rainy days, working in the garden, and for throwing on to take the dog out. Love them!

I got these cute boots for a trip to the arctic. The expeditions include wet landings from zodiacs. I've been wearing these around the house and yard to make sure they will be comfortable for hiking on uneven terrain. This boot is cute and comfy! The price is so reasonable and, in my book, five stars in all categories is reasonable. They are wide but I'll be wearing heavy socks for warmth and padding.

I bought these boots for a recent trip to Ireland. Could not be happier! They were light enough to keep in my carry on bag and were with me every day. They were even comfortable walking up to the Cliffs of Moher. Also the price was great.

As a process server I go to a lot of places, farms, homes, with mud and puddles everywhere. I thought these boots were comfortable, easy slip on and off, and great traction. So Happy with these boots! Once things started warming up and melting I needed them right away. I had them in less than 24hrs. I love Zappos!

Great rainboot. Was gardening in 3 inches of water and my feet stayed dry. I usually wear 8.5 order a 9 and it was to big. Returned for a 8 and I still have room to wear warm socks. Fashionably cute as well.

Love these boots. I have big calves and have a hard time finding boots that fit well. These are great! Can't wait for the kids spring soccer to start in a couple weeks. The fields are always wet and muddy and I'll be rocking these fun boots every weekend!
