My “go-to” winter boots are the Ugg Classic size 7, but the soles wear off after a year; so when I saw the Essentials I figured I’ll give them a try since the soles are much thicker. Upon receiving the Essential boots size 7, I was disappointed. I got the Chestnut, which isn’t a true chestnut like the Classic. It’s more like a Birch/tan color. There’s too much foot room for my liking with an “out of the box” boot; I like my Uggs snug on my feet since they normally stretch overtime. The shearling in the leg area is much much less than the Classic offers, so that was really disappointing. It’s not as stylish as the Classic since the sole is bulky, but it seems more practical with walking in winter weather than the Classic. I do believe that these look best Black or Grey rather than Chestnut. Sadly I’ll have to exchange these for a size6, and of those don’t fit I’ll have to say goodbye to the Essentials and stick with my favs, the Classic Ugg. Quality was good. Only issue was that it was too small.

This boot was way too tight, even with no socks, especially at the top seam line. Also much narrower in the foot and the shaft compared to my older, much roomier Uggs. Nice looking boots, just seemed like they changed up the fit to accommodate narrower feet. If you have wider feet, these may not be the boot for you. I returned them.

I ordered a pair of Classic Uggs as well and feel the Essentials are of cheaper quality and material compared to the Classic pair. I am somewhat disappointed with the Essentials and feel like they are almost fake compared to the Classics. I am not sure if anyone else feels this way about the Essentials? I love my classic pair so much more! The material is so much softer and not so stiff like the Essentials. Did I get a knockoff?

Disappointing. Flimsy and itchy. I chose the sturdier ones as I walk a lot, but no support.

I have worn Uggs for years, my first pair are about 6 years old. I have a few different styles (Classic Tall, mini, and one that are like the short classics but have a zipper on the side). The two oldest have worn well over the 6 MN winters. Size wise, these are like other Uggs, I went down a size from my usual (8 from 8.5). However, these felt like the cut was larger, almost loser, then previous pairs. These do not feel as snug as my old ones did when they were new. It has only been a couple months so I expect they wills stretch more. I bought these because of the extra traction for ice. That being said, have not noticed a noticeable difference in these compared to my other pairs. Also, I feel these aren't as sturdy (for lack of a better word) as my Classics, they feel like a lighter version. I feel I would have been better off getting Classics.

I bought this boots size 8 chestnut color on Saturday may 26th and it came completely different then what I ordered. To start it didn’t came in an UGG box (I understand damage in transit can happen tho) there were no fur inside, my feet doesn’t fit this boot at all and it looks like another boots. I’m very disappointed with Zappos because it looks like it came a model completely different from the model I saw on pictures.

I was so excited to finally get a new pair of Uggs since my original pair has seen better days. However, what I received was not at all what I was expecting. The quality of these boots have dramatically gone down. The fur inside was falling out and the boot just seems very flimsy and do not feel like they can withstand the harsh Michigan winter like my older pair has. Overall, I'm very disappointed with this product.
