Perfect walking boot that simply states fashion, warmth and comfort. True to size, and a few sprays make it waterproof. A must have for fall and winter!

I've had this specific pair of Uggs for 12 years! Seriously! Now, they don't look as perfect as they did 12 years ago, but they still look nice enough to wear them out and most people are shocked at how old they are. People assume maybe they are 3 or 4 years old, but are floored when I say I've had them since 2002. The soles have held up pretty well too. In fact, I think the more rugged sole on the Essential makes it a bit more durable than the Classic.

My daughter loves these boots. They are well made and durable. They fit well and are comfortable.

Zappos.com was so easy to order from. I chose Ugg boots in chocolate brown and they arrived so fast I was amazed. I tend to check Zappos.com now for any future purchases!

These are the best Uggs I have ever owned. The traction on the bottom is great and I don't slip on icy conditions..

I wear a size 10 and I bought a size 10 and it fits fine. No downsizing. Very comfortable -- like outdoor slippers.

If I could wear these boots 24/7 I would. They are, hands-down, the most comfortable boots that I have ever owned.

I love Uggs. I bought a pair over ten years ago that, although a bit beat up and now have a glued sole, are great to throw in a drybag for kayak camping in cold weather. I like the soles offered on the new ones I recently ordered and received from Zappos (my first Zappos order). More traction and I like the shorter height. Great experience with Zappos.

Exactly what I wanted! While Uggs are pretty expensive, they're the warmest winter boots that I can find with good tread. As long as you take care of them they'll last years. Only thing... Buy a lot smaller than your normal size. I was aware of the sizing issues with Uggs so I bought an 8 when I wear 9.5 and they fit perfectly.

Love. I am usually an eight, sometimes an eight and a half...the eight fit wonderfully. These boots are just cuddly, wonderful. Wish everything felt like this, great for a walk with the dog on a chilly night.

I am a lover of anything UGG because of the quality & comfort. When I opened the box I was shocked & disappointed to see there was a ball of the shearling already out of the boot & have recently shed some of the shearling when wearing. However, the comfort is still good & I don't regret the purchase. I do hope these last as long as my last pair. The tread is thicker on the Essential compared to the Classic which I have but feel they have more durable soles.

Did not fit

Let's just put it out there: UGGs are all over the place when it comes to sizes. You really have to try them on. And, the common wisdom is that they should fit a little snugly as they will mash down with wearing. Also they are a natural product and will stretch with time. That said, I ordered these in chocolate in an 8 - which is the size of my previous Uggs. They fit, but I wasn't 100% sure about whether they were snug enough. So I ordered these in a 7, but they didn't have the chocolate, so I ordered the dark grey. Turns out, the 8 is the right size. But now I wish I'd ordered them in the grey. It is a really nice color. I'm sticking with the chocolate - but do consider the grey.

The fit is similar to the classic short in every way except for the footbed. The classic is softer and more comfy. This one was hard and didn't have as much "squish" to it.

I have these in gray. Great tread and practical. Cozy! The one thing that would make them better and a 5 star rating is arch support. Need that arch support! Sizing is iffy. (But most sizing on most shoes/clothing is!) Depending on the shoe style, I can wear a 7. 7-1/2 or 8. I have a slightly narrow foot. The 7 in the Ugg Essential fit best. Ugg Adirondack style, 7 too small and 8 roomy. Ugg flip flops, 8 fits best. I recommend trying them on or order from Zappos if you can't!
