I should have ordered wide instead of medium. My error that I will live with. This is my second pair.....great looking loafer.

I really liked these shoes. The fit was perfect and the style is classic and great. Would have loved to keep them but had to return them due to a somewhat inaccurate description on the part of Rockport. The pair I purchased were described as "Dark Brown" - which is what I was seeking. They were more of a medium brown. A color for which it is nearly impossible to find a matching belt. If these were to have been intended for wear with shorts or jeans without a belt they'd have been perfect. Alas, not the case.

These arrived having apparently been worn, or at least tried on. They have wrinkles across the toes where the foot bends. But the bigger surprise was that the "Dark Brown" was not very dark. I thought we had accidentally ordered cognac brown or something when we pulled them out of the box.

I bought these for hubby and he likes them. He said these are the most comfortable shoes

This is a great looking, very comfortable shoe. I feel it is just a little larger than other Rockport shoes in my size, but not more than a 1/2 size, maybe even a little less than 1/2 size larger. I think a 1/2 size smaller might fit better and remove the slightly wider feel, too. I needed the shoes for an event so I didn't return them. I'm thinking that a thicker pair of sox will help.

These are good quality shoes, but there is something different about this pair. The back is too long, maybe due to the piece of plastic that is inserted in the shoe. Hopefully with time it will be more rounded and will fit better.

This is the second time we've ordered the same shoes because my husband likes them so much. Great shoe for the price and comfortable.

Lovely shoes, but the ones I got were tan or light brown, not dark brown as I ordered. The look quite a lot like the cognac colored ones alternately offered by Zappos. Customer service said, order them again, and see if you get dark brown. I will re-order and hope.

Bought to replace a pair (different brand) which didn't fit. These fit well and are getter looking. Reasonably priced. Very quick service.

Bought a whole size smaller than usual and the shoe still is bigger after stretching. Great for work. Easy to put on. Overall okay.

Usually wear a medium width these were tight. Returned for the wide version and they fit well. Got the dark brown and they are lighter in color than the picture.

The top portion of the shoe came up to high and the leather was stiff.

The shoes felt extremely comfortable. I had to send them back because they were just too narrow. No long term review, they just felt great when I tried them on.

These are nice shoes. However, I had some trouble finding the right width. I ordered a wide and the shoes were much too wide and also loose. I exchanged them for a medium and the shoes are a little tight in the toe area. I am hoping the comfort will improve as I bread them in. They have good arch support and padding. As usual, ZAPPOS customer service was outstanding!

Comfortable and good enough for the price that I bought another pair when they wore out. They look good enough to wear in an office at the easygoing end of the business-dress spectrum. They are easy to get on and off, and the soles have good grip. The "dark brown" color is more light reddish-brown. The uppers began to look badly scuffed, the planned obsolescence of midmarket shoes, after about 75 days of wear.

I can usually wear a size 6.5 wide, which these are, but they are way too tight for me in the toe box. I also tried the size 7 wide but they were too long - every step my heel came out of the shoe. Oddly enough the "Rockport Total Motion Loafer Penny" in the same size (6.5 wide) is slightly too roomy, I could probably use a size 6. But since 6.5 is the smallest they make in the Penny Loafer I'll have to make do by adding some padding.
